It is a crime that these people are selling this service. To begin it doesn’t work. Most of the videos I’ve tried to access are NOT viewable due to some technical error. There is no posted phone number to call them on so you have write customer support and they don’t get back to you. My son made the most amazing play that I wanted to capture and save. I know the system recorded the game because I was able to access it during the game. When I got home and sat down to save the clip the video feed is not accessible. SERIOUSLY????? What’s the point of capturing memories if you can’t access the recorded video???? What’s the point of having support service if they don’t get back to you??? Save your money, these people don’t appreciate the role they took on by creating this service and in the end just leave you extremely disappointed. Total RIP OFF!!!!

I have used HiCast twice throughout my sons baseball career at diamond nation. Both seasons, I found all too often that the microphones didn’t work or the cameras didn’t work on the field he was playing at. Each time I was finished with the season and wanted to cancel my monthly subscription I have found that it is nearly impossible to cancel. The instructions they give you take you to dead ends and nobody seems to be able to fix it. I’m currently in a month long battle to try to cancel the subscription that I have not used since August, 3 1/2 months ago. I’ve tried canceling through iTunes following The instructions and it is a dead end. I’ve tried to cancel through HiCastSports itself and where they told me a cancel button should be there is none. So frustrating I would not waste your time!

We first used HiCastSports when our oldest grandson played in a baseball tournament at Shipyard Park in Charleston in June 2018. Quality of feed was very poor, but we were able to watch all of his games. On October 13, 2018, our youngest grandson played in a weekend tournament at Shipyard Park. We were able to watch the games on Saturday. Feed kept reloading and it was difficult to watch. If it wasn't for our Gamechanger app we wouldn't have known what was happening. And then on Sunday, the camera wasn't even on. I have emailed twice with no response. On their website, they claim to be very responsive, but unfortunately for us, that is not true. Grandparents....don't waste your money.

I bought the monthly pass used it once the night I bought the pass went to use it tonight for the second time, and it tells me there’s no live feed at the venue!! I tried every field.... I then called the venue and they said it’s an app issue and he said it’s happens to him and to go call or go online to chat. I googled, went all over the website and there is not a phone number or a chat anywhere!!! I’m so aggravated!! Never again and I’ll also be telling our entire travel team and every travel team that we play not to use HiCastSports!

I signed up for one week to watch my grand kids games. HiCastSports frequently locks up and the screen goes blank. This happens every two minutes and lasts from 10 seconds to one minute or more. You can’t see a scoreboard so it is extremely hard to follow a game. You have a single camera over home plate. That’s it. Very frustrating app. I want to give it a zero and can’t. App often locks and says you don’t have fast internet when I have ultra fast internet and routers. After locking up if it does come back it will rewind half an hour. What a scam.

I was so excited to use HiCastSports after returning from Diamond Nation where my daughter played in an awesome 11 inning game. I purchased a 7 day pass to watch the game and it would never load. I was able to see other events, just not the one I wanted to watch, so I knew it was not my device. I emailed them and someone replied that they would check on it and get back to me. After two weeks and numerous emails to them, still no reply. Not even an offer to refund my money. Great idea, but obviously no customer service or regards for their customers.

This is all well and good if it wasn’t putting me at risk for data theft. I dealt with the lagging video even on high speed, and found the image to be good quality, but I stopped watching when I realized I couldn’t even pay for the pass on HiCastSports OR ONLINE in a secure way. Their site has a big “not secure” red exclamation point no matter which browser I use. Thanks for nothing. Baseball with a side of credit card theft? No chance I’m taking that risk. I’ll be contacting the venue, too.

You promote this for families/friends to view from afar if they’re unable to make these events/tournaments yet you only provide an HOUR of free viewing. A game -at any level- lasts longer than that! At least provide one FULL game -if you must charge after that at all!!!
Its like watching a stop action movie with lengthy pauses -doesn’t work all around. Shoddy
If your kid is in a one time tournament -then start your fee trial at the absolute beginning of the game.
If your child is in multiple tournaments the the pass may be worth it for you

And for the person who blasts the complaints bc they’re “doing us a service” what did they pay you to say so ? 🤨
5 stars is way too much to give this for the amount of time allowed for viewing.

The concept is great and I wouldn't mind the cost....if it worked consistently. Some games were flawlessly recorded allowing me to go back and capture highlights of big plays. Other games skip innings, aren't recorded to completion, or weren't recorded at all. Sent two emails to 'support' for help/insight but they weren't very supportive. No one ever responded. It's a shame. This is a great idea.

The most glitchy app where the feeds just don’t work. Frustrating when trying to watch and the feed just freezes. Stream doesn’t run any longer than a minute. Not worth the money or aggravation.

the quality isn’t great but it has a good concept and watching live games works pretty well, I didnt try to clip anything so i don’t know if that works. I also don’t know if they have old games I would assume not it doesnt look like they have an archive of sorts

I’ve been using hicast for about 2 years, very easy to clip highlights of games and download to my device. Great for family who are out of state and wanting to see their family member play baseball/softball.
Definitely need to have good to very good WiFi to stream the game and honestly camera quality could be better (hard to see outfielders) on some venues. But I’ll deal with that. Price point is good but should have a way to put subscription on hold during off season. All said and done I’ll be a customer of theirs for my sons duration of playing at our local venue.

Just by the way, the people who created HiCastSports put their hard work and money into this to satisfy YOUR needs. It’s honestly disgusting to see a people disrespect other human beings like this. Does it benefit you in any way to tear down HiCastSports and it’s creators? Y’all have no clue what they go through to keep HiCastSports afloat. I would like to see you create an app and build it from the ground up. Every app has its issues but you can express your dissatisfaction in a kinder way that doesn’t hurt others. So chill out and do something else with your time. Thank you

HiCastSports is a perfect tool that everyone that is subscribed to get to use it, you have to have some knowledge on how videos work, but you can save, share and edit at anytime your subscription is active! A must for families that can’t make the games and venues that carry it!

I am always using the hi cast app to download my sons at bats, this allows my to capture great moments but also use a teaching tool for him. I am able to download highlights and share with relatives across the country, allowing them to experience the moment.
