Everything was running smoothly but some genius decided they could make it better..... the new update has caused my board to register more phantom out and double hits in the last 10 games since the update than it did in the last 2 months. Great fix??!. Learn to leave well enough alone. If you’re not actually fixing something then leave it alone!! Ruined a good experience. Changing the sensitivity has proven to be useless now as well. Back the old reliable 20 year old Dart King board that hasn’t had to be updated in 20 years!!

I have been using GRANBOARD for 2.5 years. At some point you would think they would want to make GRANBOARD better instead of worse. When I first got on it was a totally different format and actually worked much better than the current. I have contacted them over and over but they still cant get anything right. If they actually had something that was solid and worked I would be willing to pay a monthly fee. WAKE UP this app!!!!! Your going to have a competitor soon if you don’t start paying attention.

One of the best aspects of this board -WAS- online play. New app comes out, upgrades (and they claim it’s a forced upgrade) and nothing but issues for online use. You cannot migrate. I tried migrating my account and my wife’s account, in both cases it said it couldn’t find our old accounts. I even have original emails when we initially registered accounts. OK no problem, we register NEW accounts. We have friends across country and next door with these boards. They do likewise, are forced to register new accounts and lose all their history. Then we exchange friends ID’s so we can, y’know, actually play online together like we used to with old app. Nope, search friends function broken. Can’t find each other. DO NOT UPGRADE! Keep your old app as long as you can and if they do force you to upgrade, may as well throw away your this app because online play NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Really, this is false advertising. YOU’VE DESTROYED YOUR INTERNET ENABLED BOARD BY REMOVING THE INTERNET PART!

The new update is horrible. I used to play online every night for hours since the update tried a couple times but it is so bad I don’t waste my time. You can’t find friends the gran cam is a 12 step program to connect which most of the time it won’t connect. You can’t play anybody because it says opponents internet is unstable. The whole thing is garbage the old app was awesome it worked perfect. Ever heard the saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it?? Hopefully they get GRANBOARD atleast halfway decent! The updated app doesn’t have target choice you can’t customize any sounds or themes it’s not even half as good as the old app! I will say the animal battles are a little better but still predictable. I would give it zero stars if I could just because it is a big

When GRANBOARD works, it works great. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work more than it works. ESPECIALLY after the latest update. Don’t even try to do a 3 leg. It will crash after the first or second game. Then it force closes GRANBOARD . Please test GRANBOARD before rolling it out to the public. You guys could be even larger if you got this under control but many refuse to buy these boards because of all the issues with GRANBOARD

Update (3/8/24): developer messaged me on 3/6 saying they did an update and problems are solved. This is FALSE. So now I’ve lowered my rating.

As the review before me mentions, doubles play on the 3s (we use GRANBOARD on iphones) is no longer an option - app crashes at the end of each round. Partner and I had to make a 3rd character we share to play online together. I did read a purchase review noting the grand mat led setting needs to be turned off if there is no grand mat to allow doubles to play, but it always defaults to "on" after GRANBOARD crashes so...?? Can't seem to fix this on our end. This wouldn't be a deal breaker if it sprung up and was addressed, but no email replies, no fixes, no mention of it at all and now the stats are plummeting due to app crashes, even in single player remote mode. Please PLEASE patch the bugs here guys, and get back on top of your game like you had it running last spring. This set up was a real blessing during lockdown - keep yourselves in our good graces and give us more than a few months play for buying your online dart system. It really was a slick set up, I'm sure it could be again.

the most ridiculously stupid app ever made where the whole community decided to play….nexus is 100,000% better but nobody plays there. So what ya get is a bunch of cheaters, which doesnt even matter because the rating system is setup where you can lose and go up in rating win and go down….play AI and adjust your rating however you like…but occasionally you come across people that play legit and are fun to play ….so 2 is all it gets

App feels like it could use some polishing, but overall it gets the job done. I really wish we can simply change the name of “Guest 1”, “Guest 2”, etc before playing a game locally. Setting up a new player profile takes too long when we just would like to see our name when playing a quick casual game with guests. Also, if you can add the ability to choose different colors for different players, gameplay would feel more personal and customized!! (I am kinda bored of always seeing red or green for players 1 and 2. Let us choose pink and violet colors please!)

I have lots of hope for GRANBOARD to be so much better looking and more ability to customize. I really love this dart board and want to see the products and app improve! I have bought coins!!! I plan to buy more if app gets better!!!

I’ve had this about a week now. About the only thing that works well is the video to video between opponents feature. Many times my opponent says the score board stats in Cricket game on their end are complete different from what’s displayed on mine end. Then GRANBOARD is just designed very poorly. The routing between menus is convoluted and redundant. But worst of all I don’t understand why they wouldn’t create a menu option to create a filter to easily be matched with a random opponent. Please do this: create and options to select filters based on rating, stats, location, speaker/microphone options, location, and then have GRANBOARD randomly match players with other players who meet those filter options. As and example: if I enter the cricket online play lobby. I would like to be able to select “Find Opponent” and it have the options of selecting players who are “BB” ranked, have a “6.5-7.5” rating, are US based, have their microphone and speakers enabled, and are ready to play. Then GRANBOARD should just pair us together in a match

Love my new board and all the new games to try.
I bought it to link and play with a buddy who also can’t get out to throw darts. When we learned that the live games are timed and that we couldn’t just take our turn when we were available I was bummed.

Please add an option to play asynchronously. So I start a game, take my turn, my buddy gets an alert that it’s his turn and will take it when he has time, then I get an alert…

This would make friend play more accessible to busy folks who can’t carve out time to complete a whole game without interruption. The live video could be replaced with a short video of the throws, or be left off entirely.

Great product, lots of fun!

Edit 06Mar2024: Latest update provided stability to both game performance and camera/voice communication. I played 4 sets of games with friends this evening without any problems.

App freezes, does not register player turns/throws, and the camera is frequently out of sync with player activity.

There’s alot of hate in the reviews, alot of complaints that I agree with but don’t agree with their ratings.. they got some issues that need attention sure, but doesn’t mean overall it’s awful.. Here’s my honest review and why I rate it 4 stars. After 6 months with my this app I’ve had hours of fun! A lot of frustration as a beginner that’s to be expected. But GRANBOARD has flaws where hit effects and LEDs don’t work sometimes, and sometimes they even lag. But who cares if they fix it that would be awesome. The price tag is a bit steep for a half decent app that goes along with playing it. But my reason for giving it 4 stars is because I enjoy playing. There’s a lot GRANBOARD offers and a lot of fixes are easy fixes by jus restarting GRANBOARD (which having to do so gets annoying) but for the past 6 months playing almost everyday and noticing my skills getting better and over all enjoying my time spent on GRANBOARD and throwing darts I can’t really complain! I honestly feel like the reviews and ratings are discouraging for other potential buyers… and I’m glad I took a chance on it. People will hate no matter what with even the little things. There’s one thing that matters. Are you enjoying it and having fun, With friends at home or online meeting new people and competing online with others are u having a good time? It’s a YES for me!

I understand that there is issues that come with updates and the like but people need to understand that this service is free, they could be charging for the services and if they did then perhaps some of the vitriol that people spew would be justified. 99 percent of the time GRANBOARD works well. I have had issues using the BullShooter boards at the bar and those machines are several thousand dollars not to mention you have to feed money into them. All in all this is a good product that in my experience is maintained by people that are trying to do the best for the community

So I got the board as a wedding gift. By far the best thing I’ve gotten in a while. All my friends either have one or are getting one and there are some small issues mainly audio and video lag but that’s expected. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that if I have a friend over and we want to play with another who is at his own house it forces us to play doubles against him rather than let us all be single players. If it let us all be single then I would give this a definite 5 stars as the small fixes are being worked on everyday and are expected with an app this size. Please add this feature so it makes it more fun for everyone

I absolutely love my board. It’s one of my most cherished possessions as I work on the road and it provides me with hours and hours of fun when I’m not working and in a hotel in a far away from home place for months. I’ve made a ton of actual real life friends whom I may have never met in person but we hang out every day. The best dart board hands down in my opinion. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because off line there are so many fun games to play local play , games I really enjoy playing but for some reason they’re not available online to play against the world. Multiplayer is stuck to simply 01 and cricket .If they could incorporate the local games in with the online play it would earn 7/5 stars

*CRAZY or RANDOM CRICKET*

I play in a dart competition and this really helps with practice but out of all the games it has, it’s still missing 1 more game. We use GRANBOARD to practice before games or to compete with one another and try to simulate our tournament games at home, but it’s missing the *CRAZY or RANDOM CRICKET*. It would be a great help that in your next update to add the *CRAZY or RANDOM CRICKET*.

Yes GRANBOARD can be glitchy and sometimes crash. But if you're resetting it and being patient with it you know it's still worth it! I've spent hours of fun and over 400+ games played and have been since last august. slot of people on here have over thousands of games played. ignore the bad reviews cause it had me debating pretty hard at first but overall i'm super happy with it. People will complain no matter what... but the pros definitely out way the cons. Highly recommend!

Besides eating batteries like a beast, we love playing on this board! Really haven’t had any issues with GRANBOARD until this last release. But I see you guys are working diligently to correct them. Only suggestion is create (if haven’t already) the next model with optional usb charging capabilities.

For those of you that are having issues with the new updated I have found that force closing GRANBOARD every time you finished playing has corrected many of my issues ie camera not displaying on smart TV box and crashes along with misreads and stats not reading properly. Good luck!

In my opinion there’s nothing more frustrating than being in an online tournament where time is crucial, accepting the wrong match because the ACCEPT BUTTON AND REJECT BUTTON are in the same spot. Then you have to back out all the way and stay over. Why are these two buttons in the same spot? Maybe reverse them? Or figure a quicker way to end a match. Like a quit match option.
