They shut down my one number it was 540 866 0173,then got a new number last week pay the first month payment 9.99 for a 5409202274 and now it's not working saying it not a united state number why when I pay for it so what do I do about a number when I pay for one

TalkU Why my recharge is not Coming?
I have a big damn problem we camceled our talku and u guys still took 42.27 off my debit card rhat3 was money for my lupus medication. Now this makes 2 days ive been without my meds. I need my money returned today before my body starts shutting down. Without my meds i get very very sick and hospitalized and my kidneys shut down. U guys are putting my life at risk rm and if i dont recieve my money bk today im contacting my lawyer. The confirmation number i have is GPA.3319-8414-1073-04030..0. This is a very serious matter we dont have any medical we pay out of pocket fpr my scripts that keep my organs functioning. How dare u take the money after we canceled it this is very disturbing. U need to be quick about this cannot miss another dose.

Used the TalkU service for maybe 5 years, worked OK, sometimes sketchy, but usually worked okay. But then, after running out of credits, decided to purchase the one year unlimited talk and text deal for $69 through the Apple app store. This was back in mid March 2020. It is now over a month later, end of April 2020 and service still does not work due to lack of credits. I have sent countless emails to TalkU without any reasonable response, except for one... The email from TalkU admitted that on some networks they cannot actually provide the unlimited service - they didn't say which network - I have Verizon... So they gave me 25 credits to start the service again. Huh? Should be more like 3,500 credits! Those 25 credits got used up in an afternoon and I was back to no service. So I sent the company more emails requesting that they simply give me $70 worth of credits so I could at least use the service that I paid for - crickets - no response. Really? Is it so unreasonable to expect to receive what we pay for? If TalkU knows that the $69 deal sometimes doesn't work, why don't they admit that and then give a comensurate number of credits like 3,500, which is in line with other credits pricing on the TalkU system? Unless you enjoy futile customer service experiences and getting ripped off, I recommend you avoid TalkU. There are many other options out there! Thanks for reading, and good luck!

I have used the app for years for international calling. They totally lie about the free credits! Do not waste your valuable time completing the quizzes/surveys or anything else because after over an hour of your time completing several each and everyone will say you do not qualify! Prompts you to continue and complete one more thing to actually receive them only to be told the very same thing upon completion! It’s sad and pathetic to use loyal customers the way they do! I have never received any of MY “free credits” I rightfully earned! Shared the app with 20 plus friends and never received a single credit! Downloaded and completed many task.....you don’t qualify after completing! Took many surveys...after completion....do not qualify. How can you not qualify for giving your opinion which they ask for? Took many quizzes....do not qualify!! Seriously!!! Pathetic!! Doing task that should have earned me a total of over 3000 credits.....BIG 0 of those received. The only thing they honor are the .05 credits for watching a video! That part of the app is nothing but a lying, scamming, use you to get what they need but don’t honor what they are suppose to give, very sad and pathetic APP!! I’d highly advise anyone to use a different one such as TALK U who gives actual credits worth your while for watching videos etc!!

This app seemed pretty decent due to reviews so I decided to give it a try. When you first open the app, it asks you to create new number. I selected it and it gave me two options for subscription plan. First was 3 day trial(recommended) and the second option was a full months subscription. I selected the 3 day trial and used my scan to finalize... it ended up charging me for 3 full months!! Who does that? I would understand if I myself had selected the trial and time ran out... but I literally just downloaded the app and selected the recommended 3 day trial.. which by the way didn’t even register as a trial. Horrible app and trying to get a hold of someone is frustrating. You have to report feedback and wait for an email response.
Edit: I’ve gotten a response and they keep telling me if I had cancelled my membership on time I wouldn’t have been charged. LOL I explained that I selected the trial and gotc charged for an actual membership instead. I also informed them that I had just downloaded the app minutes ago and was still told it was my fault. What a joke of both app/customer service. Worst I’ve ever seen.
