wish I could tell you to stay away from this device before you could buy it. but here you are, ready to face the worl.. wait, you can’t access the web? because your app refuses to set up your router and forwards you to a page that shows other this app models whaaat?
ok but here’s an ip you can try on your comp.. nawp, says download MiWiFi . ok, let’s try this on mobi.. WHAT THE HELL I DON’T KNOW CHINESE!?
ok entered some random info, looks like I can connect to my setup router.. oh.. oh I can’t.. for no reason.. oh I paired but it won’t load anything.. hmm.. well the modem makes me look techy and MiWiFi icon I can show off to my buds unless somebody dares me to click it.

After updating the router’s software, MiWiFi couldn’t detect it. Deleted the router from MiWiFi and tried adding it back but app still didn’t recognize it. Did numerous hard resets to router but stupid app keeps on forwarding to a website and even if I was able to reconfigure the router through said website, MiWiFi still won’t recognize the router. I gave up after several hours and will just wait for the router to stop working so I can replace it with a better one. Unless there’s a miracle and the developers read the comments here and do their job to fix the awful app.

I just bought a new box packed Xiaomi Mi 4a Router Gigabit Edition but it’s both LANs ports not working when I plug with gigabit switch led lights up but no connection between router and switch and second bug is WAN port limited to 100Mbps instead of 1Gbps and can’t update firmware 2.18 to 2.28 that Mi website showing firmware update! Also tried manually download update but it’s website showing “access denied”!

And MiWiFi immediately crash after launch!

Kindly help where i can download firmware!

My device is Iphone 8+ and i downloaded MiWiFi but when i tried to open it after installation, immediately its closing by itself , i cant open MiWiFi its just closing i cant open the application... Hope you ll solve this problem soon..

In order to get MiWiFi working properly I had to deny all permissions to MiWiFi save to connect to network. It took a couple tries to get MiWiFi to connect to my xiaomi router and even more to turn on some setting such as guest mode. However once you get these set up it finally works as intended. I give it 3.5 stars but can’t give a half rating on App Store.

Got a new AX9000 router, and set up a Mesh network with it and 2 AX3600 routers. MiWiFi worked swell with an old Mesh setup with 2 AX3600 routers, but not with the AX9600 as the main node in the new Mesh network. I can’t get MiWiFi to recognize the new Mesh network. Tried to delete MiWiFi , reinstall - but still no joy. Would love to have MiWiFi work again on my new Mesh setup.

To fix the crash problem I deleted MiWiFi and installed again, during the installation I disabled the location and notifications. After that I created the account and now work fine.

It always crashes when I try to open in my iPhone XR. I have not been able to use MiWiFi yet. Hope this is fixed at the earliest. Thank you!

Earlier MiWiFi functioned properly in my iPhone. Unfortunately now it is not working. Though it installs on the system but when I try to open it, it crushed immediately. I got tired and undone. Would you please help me any way.

Love MiWiFi . Very helpful to manage my routers. But some devices (smart phones) disappear from the device list when offline. Don’t know problem with app or router. Also expecting to be fully compatible with iPad.

Had trouble setting up the router since it’s in Chinese but over all one of the best budget router currently in the market in my opinion and MiWiFi is very useful had no trouble till now over all well done Mi five stars you deserved it keep it up ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am using the device along with MiWiFi for the last three years. MiWiFi provides a good many options like monitoring and connecting the devices, scheduling, bandwidth allocation and above all performance optimization. I’m quite satisfied with the performance of the device at this price level and also MiWiFi . I don't know why MiWiFi is under rated. Thank to the developer team.

The latest version has a fatal bug and app doesn’t launch at all on my iPhone8Plus. Please fix it ASAP. There’s no way to communicate with developers. Please set up a bug reporting system if possible.

it crashes as soon as launching MiWiFi , completely useless Please update it and fix this critical issue. I’m using iPhone xR, iOS 14.5.1

i haved xiaomi r2350
The device works without any problems, but MiWiFi says that router is offline .device has reset MiWiFi and deleted the program several times, but it still gives this error.

MiWiFi might me difficult for newbies, but it took me 10 minutes to switch on and set up all I need:) very pleasant interface and quite a lot of useful features (like see what devices are connected, what is the speed, remote access to your files… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

MiWiFi only shows the introduction screen and when I sign in it says no mi Wi-Fi is found when I try to pair the device with my mi acct. i connected my old router to the mi router to save the settings and added location name and password...the router is working but MiWiFi has not given me access to the router. Any helpful comments welcome.

I turned off my vpn and it worked perfectly after that!

This new version have problems. Every time i open MiWiFi it crashed even after restarting my phone. Please fix it ASAP. Moreover I really like MiWiFi because with the help of MiWiFi you can manage your everything with MiWiFi, like traffic on your WiFi scanning speed control blocking and specially is your security for your connection.

You have to click on the above options that are overlapped, then the options will go away so long and far away that it will no longer click.

After update can’t change device name. Tried several time but failed, may I know what’s the reason? Overall everything is ok.
