this app is amazing. Simple and beautifully designed UI. I love the fact that there’s no ads. Another feature within StarVPN that I love is the fact that the VPN doesn’t automatically disconnect you, unless your phone dies or fully shuts off obviously.

For a anyone looking for a free VPN on StarVPN Store, I’d highly suggest this app. Even if you have doubts or the VPN, at least try it and see how you like it, because I haven’t seen any bad factors about it so far and I’ve been using it for a couple of days.

With occasional use its 80% dependable... any use of marathon proportions, it needs to be stopped and restarted about once an hour....so theres that?
An update to previous review: after correctly configuring my Wifi router ISP etc it has truly givin me years of dependable service with only occasional connecting difficulties that have been out of there control and after being patient for a few mins, the connection delays usually dont last more than 5-10mins, I dont think its a big deal at all…nothing ever runs perfect. Overall I’m quite satisfied.

I installed StarVPN 25 hours ago, but its runtime shows only 19 hours. When waking my iPhone XR with the settings page still open, I notice the “VPN” toggle switches quickly from off to on. Apparently, this VPN only works while the phone is in wake mode? Doesn’t make sense, as my phone has been in sleep mode well over six hours over the last 25 hours.

Developers, please advise of any solutions. I have five more days to decide if I wish to proceed to subscribe. Hoping to hear from you to resolve this and buy by the year if this can be resolved. Will update ratings accordingly.

StarVPN is decent. It's really skilled and it does what it promises. So far I've been thoroughly impressed. However, somehow used all of my data. I started in the day with 675 megabytes and left my iPod to sleep without using any apps. At the end of the day. I discovered that nearly all of my data was gone. I hadn't touched my iPod more than once and yet it showed that I had used more than 96%. This frustrated me a lot, Despite this, StarVPN still does what it promotes, also run into the issue where I cannot seem to pay for premium within StarVPN , is it a bug?

So far pretty good. I do like the ease of StarVPN, Myability to turn on/off on things, also like the fraud feature read about know it must have been frustrating, but they were making sure u was in factu! If you have ever had your identity stolen, then u would understand just how GREAT what they did sounds. Again know it must have been frustrating, but that added few steps will save someone if not you, a GREAT deal of time and money!!!!

This software is fantastic and works well with the WPM software suggested in the ads that come with the basic version of this product. The base product works perfectly with my phone and given the recent changes on congress it just makes sense to upgrade to this kind of web use protocol. So when I was offered a chance to upgrade just for sharing my experience was happy to oblige.

When I discovered StarVPN I dropped my fear of using hotel or other free wi-fi setups. It’s easy to use, transparent, and doesn’t seem to interfere with performance. It probably isn’t perfect, but it’s terrific. Occasionally it prevents a website from giving me access. I’d rather go without or ask that website to fix their problem than turn off my safety feature. I just bought my monthly subscription and have been enjoying it! The "all you can eat packages" is just a great bargain! Speed is pretty nice, although sometimes run WPM express because it is faster by a slight. If there could be more options such as choosing which server to connect to, this would be the best WPN on the phone, (i.e., I wish there was a way to port the connection to computer.) Anyways, good job developers..

You can't beat the price, $10 for a year? It has been mostly reliable, there are the odd days when their servers don't respond, but as a rule it is reliable. I can't have the VPN on all the time, which is what would like to do, because it seems to drain the phone's power to nearly 0 by midday whereas without it usually can go workout charging for 1.5 to 2 days...

So far so good in regards to a Mobile Anonymous Browser allowing me to safely browse the dark web without worry of being watched. Great for finding sites unavailable to surface surfers BUT when it comes to actually communicating in regards to placing orders or making inquiries with the webmaster I would make sure to create TAILS first and use myPC with very good underlying security like Wipre and of course a WPN. However like isaid a great app to find what you need.

Having a VPN is very important in this day and age of the internet. this app make it very easy and hassle free to stay protected and safe. This vpn is good and reliable but I noticed a few glitches.
When I choose US-streaming as my location on IKEv2 protocol, a handful of sites detects I’m using vpn. Twitter registers my location as Singapore, Instagram registers as Singapore too while Facebook says it’s an unknown location but giving me seaeches related to Shanghai china. Please I hope you can work this out in your next update. Thanks for your service tho.

I know there's a lot of fake reviews about this VPN and some people do complain about the pricing, or as it is not being a FREEVPN. For those who are so savvy about internet service, they should rethink about their "free lunch" services, I do give 5 star for this and admit one purpose is to get the extra 50MB free data, like its U1, both app version and website,I'll definitely buy the premium once I need it.

I’ve used star vpn for a long time and even purchased the premium, it’s worked fine until it started to turn off when I left StarVPN I had the iPhone 5 at the time so I thought it was just because it was old, I got the new phone (iPhone X) and downloaded it again installing premium and the same thing happened, I have contacted in the past but I never got a reply which doesn’t help in the situation, I would like a fix to this problem as I won’t be using star vpn any sooner if this problem is unfixable. I was looking for free VPN services and have tried a dozen different Apps but finally this one works best. StarVPN offers more server location options than all other free VPNs and most importantly StarVPN's servers are fast. I did had a couple of times not being able to establish a connection. Choosing another server fixed the issue. Keep it up.

I’m really happy with this service. I turn it on when I look for information or post my advertisement on Craigslist or to buy things over the internet. Also to open my photography club and my pottery club on Facebook. Their sites aren’t secure. It has cut my junk emails to about 1/10th. I think it also helps my address to stay safe.

It’s a really great VPN app that’s fast and actually works. However, I didn’t get a free trial 7 days as it said it would. I canceled it before 7 days and it said my subscription will end a month later. I haven’t got a message said my card is charged yet, but I believe it will come soon. It really works! I’d say it works very very well about 100% of the time. I always use this application during my lunch time at work, and it helps me so much to spend this time excellently! Our office WiFi blocks most of social networks and TV-sites. But with Star VPN all of them are free for me and my iphone! I can watch my favourite films or read news. And It's great really!
