Click bait

Is that is a joke and so is his advertisement I solely download it on purpose which I think it’s only right and it shows a form of integrity and appreciation and etc. etc. so again like I was saying I Soli download it is too far you know do what it was designed to do but primarily with clip my eye and made me move for it was that you get it’s free trial but that’s bull crap because I never got the free trial and it tells you when you try to cook in this something that you have to pay for this rip off Apple really needs to get the money together because these type of things should be free when you are a Apple consumer or Apple holder or bi or whatever however you wanna label it like I was off too so sick of these million billion trillion dollar companies you know always getting over on the less fortunate one thing I can’t stand is a liar and a thief and taking with ill intentions or malice or it’s simply something that doesn’t belong to you or by manipulation is wrong on so many different levels and a thief is not to be trusted because if you steal you will lieOK done right now I’m over it

Doesn’t track Apple Pencil 2

I lost my Apple Pencil 2 inside my house. I bought BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder fired it up and walked around the house using this tracker and had no success finding the Apple Pencil 2. I reread directions and searched again very slowly using this tracker. After a few hours I went back around the house just looking around and referencing the tracker (for a 3rd search) in each room and still no luck. Later that evening I was cleaning my bedroom and found the Apple pencil 2 just underneath a rug... I assumed it didn’t have a charge left in but had to confirm, after I attached it to my iPad Pro I confirmed the Apple Pencil 2 had a 78% charge left. Out of curiosity I restarted my iPad Pro and reopened this tracker app, my Apple Pencil 2 was not even recognized by this tracking app never mind indicating how close I was to it. I have since reached out to the developer 2 times for a refund and they haven’t even gotten back to me, not to offer a credit, fix, update or anything else. No acknowledgement is the worst part. I strongly recommend NOT TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder (or anything from these guys for that matter but that’s just my old school mentality).

Found!!!!! my lost AirPod in a grocery store

So I work at grocery store and I’m a P.I.C so I’m literally all over the store every second and I lost one of my AirPods while I was working and I could not find it so I saw BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder downloaded it And tried the free version wasn’t very helpful so I paid the 5$ to get the “premium” version it just pretty much allows the user to focus on one device and update the signal faster but after I was able to decide that it was definitely in our back room and then I just followed where the signal got stronger and I found it in our Plastic recycling bin took me less than 30 min to find awesome app. One suggestion is the “radar does not tell you the direction and idk if you even get a direction from a blue tooth connection but the radar is useless I would just use a color visual to show how close you are

Tracked down an iPhone X buried in snow

First big snow storm hit western PA this year. My son was looking around for his phone. Find My said it was at our house, so we played an alert but could not hear it. Eventually I stumbled upon BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder. I was a bit pessimistic about it but figured why not. A few iPhones showed up on the nearby devices so we shut off other iPhones in the house so we could see only one. I walked around slowly and eventually it showed “5-10 meters” when I was by our front door. I went outside and a few other iPhones showed up (must be neighbors), but this one said .5-1 meters. I played an alert again and heard a faint signal under the soon. A bit of digging and we found it! Must have fallen out whilst my son was shoveling snow.

Piece of Trash !!!! Worthless!!

I’ll always admit to operator error, but BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder is worthless. False readings! Constant erroneous readings!! I actually found the missing earbud inside my garage (by accident and without BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder ) when I was looking all over my yard and home with BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder . I then put the earbud on the ground in my yard, walked by it, over it and even picked it up and BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder never even gave a hint of being close. I even got the same reading sometimes in the backyard as I did in the front yard. It NEVER GAVE an indication of being inside the garage (and the door was up!!!). Also, why aren’t there operational instructions given WITH the purchase. Also, I even bought the $4.99 UPGRADE (that’s another joke)! That invite kept popping back up. I may have bought it several times....totally irritating. Can you tell that I’m a tad bit frustrated ..... and would like a credit to my account or cash sent to me. You can have your Worthless App back!!
Larry Ward, (I’ll wait)

Go with another Bluetooth finder app.

I am an electrical engineer with radio frequency direction finding experience, so I know what I’m talking about.

The free part of this application does everything the paid part of the application does as far as trying to find something goes, which you cannot find this out without paying for the paid app. The only things you get are the ability to not have to change to portrait mode and the elimination of the list-runs-off-the-bottom issue (see below).

The reason for 2 stars is because it does work as a signal strength monitor, but all of the free apps will.

Portrait mode issue: BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder formats the signal strength information so you cannot see it in portrait mode for items with long names. If you rotate to landscape mode you can see the names.

List-runs-off-the-bottom: When using the free mode, all devices which can be “heard” by BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder show up on a screen. As their relative signal strengths change, they reorder with the strongest on top. This means you have to jump around to follow the one you are watching, even off the bottom of the screen.

If the developer refunds my money and removes my access to the paid version of BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder , I’ll remove this review.

Love it! Found my Apple Pencil

I had a panic attack once I arrived from school realizing I couldn’t find my Apple Pencil in the place I always put it I looked everywhere (at least I thought I did) and it was no where to be found so I decided look up a device tracker for any help found this one gave it a shot and boom I saw a close location of the pencil and here we are. Although it did get the job done and it did say it was my Apple Pencil it doesn’t specify other devices in the area and reads ‘unknown’ that’s my only complaint but definitely get the job done!!

Found iPhone in the snow!

My wife lost her iPhone while skiing. Unfortunately, we did not have any service on the mountain, so we could not use the FindMy app.

We searched for two hours in the area she thought she had lost the phone without any luck. We went back to town and I downloaded BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder and we returned the next day.

Using the Bluetooth signal strength in BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder , I was able to track down the phone which was laying on the surface, but was 200 feet away from where we were searching. BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder saved me 800 bucks!

IT WORKS!!! (Apple Pencil)

I’m so THANKFUL for BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder! I was panicking when I couldn’t find my Apple Pencil anywhere and esp after I spent money on another app that specifically said it worked for Apple Pencils but was horrible. BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder pulled up my pencil, although it showed it was not connected. Thinking it was for sure in my bedroom I kept getting frustrated when it would briefly pick it up but only around 40% so I finally got frustrated and went downstairs and all of sudden it jumped to 60, 75 and BOOM right in couch cushions! I am so glad I paid for BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder, it’s def worth it!!

This Has to be the best find your device app

I have spent literally three hours, three hours looking for my Fitbit Versa 2 I could not find it and it’s app was telling me it was on 7%. I downloaded all these find my Bluetooth whatever apps none of them work until I got to this one but you have to read its how to use guide which is four sentences.
All of those other appsHad me walking in circles in my bedroom which is on a different floor where the watch was this one tells you within 1 to 3 feet

Saved a $2K hearing aid

Lost this in the woods. With a signal of 32 at waist level I was literally standing right over top of it. Initial “free” app is a tease - it tells you what it can detect. There’s no free trial. It doesn’t provide signal strength or general distance (1-5m, 5-10m, etc) unless you buy BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder which is $4.99. For me it was worth it and if your device is valuable enough that you’re looking for an app to find it, I’d bet you are willing to fork bet a few dollars. I’d just appreciate the dx’ing the bait-and-switch.

Don’t waste your time or money

What a waste of time and money. Most of my devices show as “unknown name” which is absolutely useless if I am looking for a specific device as I don’t know what to choose. I tested on a “known” device and I literally had to touch that device with the one I was running BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder on before it put the device in the red circle. I purchased to find 2 specific devices. I ended up giving up using this and eventually found them with my eyes. Btw, I now have those 2 devices, fully charged and connected, on the table a few feet away from me and still can’t work out what they come up as on BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder! I would really, really, really like my money back, but we know how that goes.

Would have lost iPhone XR forever... in my house

My wife had her phone, than didn’t. She looked for 2hrs, than we tried BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder. It took a bit of wandering the living room, but finally isolated it to the couch. But there was no phone tucked away in any crevasse. Flipped over the sofa and got the highest signal strength near the bottom liner edge. Removed a coupe of staples and wallah - $750 iPhone that we would have turned the house upside down for, But still would have been lost forever. Just glad the Bluetooth was on!!!

Found my fitbit

I was able to bypass looking: anywhere outside, the cars, the garage, multiple closets, the garden, the literal pool, shared things with others, and bypass looking through other people's stuff. That's huge. It ended up being under the fan next to my desk. Who could Think anything falling under a fan??!! I love BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder. Worth purchasing. I also bought another app for $2 and that didn't detect my fitbit as accurately and immediately as this did.

It didn’t work

I had lost my airpods somewhere in my house (which is a little big) so I downloaded BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder to find them. I bought the premium for 4.99 and used BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder to try and find them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find them with BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder . BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder shows you how many meters away you are from the object but for me, the distance wasn’t changing and nothing seemed to be working. I couldn’t find my airpods with BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder but I noticed that it also tracked other devices. Even though BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder didn’t help me with finding my airpods, it does look like it can track other devices a lot better.

Best app ever: saved me $140

I lost my headphones while walking in the woods. I searched for 30 minutes without success until a friend suggested BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder. Within 5 minutes I found it. Incredible!

You need to be able to do your own search pattern since it can't tell the direction (because that's how Bluetooth works) but still super-simple as it showed signal strength (the higher the better) and approximate distance. Once I got super-close, it changed to "0.5-1.0 meters look around!" and sure enough it was one meter away.

Also impressed that, while my device had timed out and didn't automatically connect to my phone, BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder was still able to locate the signal. Amazing!

Can't recommend highly enough if you've just lost your Bluetooth device and need to find it.

5 stars (10 if I could)

Absolutely works!!

I lost my Bluetooth headphones on an extremely long trail and didn’t realize it until I was back at my car. Had turned them off at the turnaround point and they must have fallen out of my pockets. Anyway this actually found them! It told me when they were 1-5 meters away and then I just connected my phone back to them and turned the music all the way up to then be able to locate them. I can’t believe it worked!

This app works pretty well

I tried three free apps this evening. This was the only one that was good enough to get me close to my device.

The others used a graph or a search bar but this one describes distance and signal strength and was extremely accurate. I deleted the other apps. This one is worth keeping. Thanks!

By

Did exactly as advertised!

I misplaced my Fitbit and couldn’t remember when I last saw it; I felt insane because I always put my things in the same place. I searched my place up and down - nothing. I downloaded BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder , followed the signal strength detection, and voila! It was under my radiator. My cat must have knocked it down at some point while jumping around my dresser. Definitely worth paying for.

Best App for loosing items close by

Lost my right AirPod on a construction site. Find my Apple device wasn’t able to locate it and it was to loud to hear the warning sound. If you understand how scanners work the closer you are the higher the number gets. After walking around the site about 2-3 times I narrowed it down to a small area and then as I looked down there was my AirPod. Life saver lol

By

Eh

Not impressed. Functionality is very limited and the premium version doesnt do much more. It would be nice if you could name your devices. If you live alone in rural North Dakota 10 miles from town its probably great but there’s a dozen devices in my house alone and when you add in the neighbor’s its impossible to know what device is what. Most just show up as “unknown”. The attempt to provide visualization on the find screen is just annoying

By

Awesome

Found my AirPods- which had been missing for over six hours- within five minutes. Great at eliminating where they're not and finding where they are with the radar scan. Id recommend the 5$ version- its a little bit more money, but worth it for finding expensive earbuds. Definitely a great app!

Bluetooth founder

I have a question.
I have gone ahead and bought a Bluetooth finder; but that’s not what I want; I want to restore my Bluetooth device; it didn’t work when I tried.
How can cancel that so I don’t get charged again or monthly; and how can I restore my Bluetooth device on my iPad or iPhone?
Thanks.

By

It worked

It was a little hard to use because of all the devices in the house but found the long lost missing iPhone in about 10 min with BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder .

Found my fitbit in under a minute

I was on my last day of a 6-week StepBet when I realized I wasn’t wearing my fitbit. Found it in under a minute. It was syncing from 50 feet away, so I never would have found it that way.

Great App!

Lost my watch in the wood and it gave me an ideal where I lost the watch. After a long search, I found the watch based on the signal strength. Thank you!

Don’t even waste your time

BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder is beyond frustrating. You only have the main screen that will show you any device it is picking up (blue, purple, to red). If you actually want to click on a device or go to ANY other screen/menu option you must upgrade. Nope. Not happening. Don’t advertise features for BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder if you can only use them on the premium version. This is a piece of crap bait and switch.

By

Tricked into buying the app

I clicked therestore button in the top left because nothing was showing up. Then I found out that that bought BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder . I didn't want to buy BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder . I want a refund....but I can't find anywhere on how to contact BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder developer.

Also, this review screen is white text on white background, so I can't actually see anything I'm writing right now.

Amazing!

I had borrowed my friends AirPods and lost one I had searching for about an our and I became very desperate so I downloaded BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder. Found it in seconds!

By

If you have Airpods....

If you have Airpods then BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder is no use, unless your case is open. I spent 30 minutes looking for mine then I got BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder (NO USE) and they wouldn’t show up. Eventually when I found them myself I opened the case and then they showed up on the devices page. With any ither Bluetooth device it wont work until the device is on.

By

Helped me find my new Powerbeats Pro earphone!

BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder worked great to help me find my brand new Powerbeats Pro earphone I dropped in the snow! No way I would have found it without BluetoothBLEDeviceFinder .

By

Works like a charm!

I tried several of these and this one works best. Rather than connecting to devices, it detects the signal strength. It’s like a scavenger hunt with a purpose.

By

Unusable

Most items found are not labelled. If you own only 1 bluetooth product it might be useful. As you walk around all the unlabelled bluetooth items it find all have the same name! So it is impossible to keep track of what is what. Then they change positions in the list making this totally unusable.

By

Free version extremely limited

As title says. Very little you can do with it. Everything just takes you right back to the “buy the premium version “ screen. It looks like it has promise, but it’s useless until it shows you it does. I’ve found another app that isn’t so limited.
