I gave up on Spanish after years of study. Decided to try Italian,but this time using my ears as much as possible. So far I can understand spoken Italian better than I ever could understand Spanish. I could read Spanish very well at one time. However, when attempting to communicate with a Spanish only speaker, it was just like Mark Twain’s quote, they had no clue how to speak my Spanish. this app gives the opportunity to use the ear predominantly. MosaLingua is beyond belief and I’ve tried many. Including Rosetta,Assamil,and several off brands,for Spanish, they provided intense sleeping opportunities as a beneficial side effect. With this app, you can go fast enough to stay motivated. We’ll see in one year if I can actually understand Italian movies, if so I’ll circle back to Spanish.

I had installed this app Spanish on two devices and then deleted it from one device a year ago. This week when I tried to install it again on my phone, it showed up as a new app for purchase. As it was working on my other device, I reached out to the this app team and they provided immediate assistance and helped me to fix my issue. Their the turnaround time has been within 24 hours and I’m delighted with their clear instructions and resolution. I already liked MosaLingua and can only say good things about it and the team that created it :) thanks very much!

The drilling of phrases along with vocabulary is a more challenging and thus helpful feature. But the software is buggy, the interface is cumbersome and ugly, and the refusal to pronounce plurals is infuriating— they are so frequently irregular in German and it would take a split second for the readers to read them. So I spend a lot of time editing the cards, removing parentheses and useless HTML markup and opting for the computer voice and clicking through confirmation windows so that I can hear the plurals. Just baffling and a waste of time. But still I spend hours a day with MosaLingua for both German and Italian—the benefits, and the price, outweigh the irritations.

Italian readers are so much better than the Germans—one woman sounds like she’s spitting into the mic while addressing a brain-damaged and deaf five year old.

I’ve been studying languages for years and this is the best method I’ve found. It’s shocking that so many other methods can cost hundreds of dollars and yet this app still outclasses all of them. I love that is has good pronunciation and encourages you to learn the pronunciation. I love the system of grading yourself and it’s algorithm for reintroducing the words you were weak on. I love that it also helps you learn to spell and write correctly. And finally, it has a massive amount of content for an amazing price. I recommend this app’s apps to all my friends who want to study a language. I just wish they had a Mandarin course.

I took Spanish from 7th grade through university so I have a great foundation. BUT there are differences between Spain-spainish and Central/South American Spanish. MosaLingua is introducing me to new ways of speaking in BOTH settings which I LOVE. Many native Spanish speakers can’t figure out ‘where’ I’m from because I can utilize so many different words which are unique to different cultures. It helps me professionally as well as personally. I can speak with most native Spanish speakers and not feel confused because of different colloquialisms. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5-Hearts because I love it so much. And if I want to switch to Portuguese or French or German, I can! It’s all in ONE APP 💪🏼

I have been practicing Spanish for 7 years and use several different tools, applications and conversations with people who speak Spanish. I really like this app and have been using MosaLingua almost everyday for a couple of weeks now. this app has helped me to expand my vocabulary in a faster amount of time than my other tools. Keep up the great work!

I’m in the process of learning French, and MosaLingua has been a pleasure to use- and addictive! Learning a language is difficult enough but MosaLingua makes it fun and you get results. The handsfree mode flash cards are especially effective. I couldn’t build my vocabulary enough before. I failed to memorize enough words or phrases no matter what I did. This works! I was surprised to find that I can remember permanently words that I kept forgetting. Vocabulary building is essential.
There are still some very minor mechanical glitches, but nothing to make be abandon Mosa. It’s been wonderful !

I’ve been trying to learn Italian for years, but it’s difficult when you’re not immersed. this app is the first app that I find invokes the feeling of being engaged with the language, specifically where you are asked to SPEAK it. I especially like the Hands-free and the ability to Make new flash cards, although I’m still not sure how to engage all the ways to make the flash cards do what I want them to. I’m almost ready to begin lessons with a live tutor.

This is the perfect app to learn language. My habit is so lazy, no standpoint to following the goal and usually give up; but MosaLingua always beside me when I prepare to give up. MosaLingua showed many good advices and promote me to learning way. MosaLingua like my closed friend. I can not believe MosaLingua can show the high humanize feature. I love it. I hope the developer can publish the Chinese language because this language is so important in the word. I love total the this app team. Love you!!!!!!

Sometimes it’s difficult to devote an hour a day to practice and learn new words. I like this program because I can spend 15 minutes/ three times a day on my practice words and new words. I’m learning phrases as well as vocabulary words using their flash cards and flash cards that I can create and add to my list. Works for me.

So far it has helped me improve my Spanish, I know this because I can now understand almost everything my Spanish teacher is saying. I've had MosaLingua for 4 days and have almost practiced 400 flashcards. I learn best through flashcards so this way I can memorize them easier. I recommended MosaLingua to my Spanish class too! The only thing I don't like is not being able to do the premium cards since I don't have money but other than that, I love it!

this app uses a sold approach to language learning that works. Look at the tips and explanation of how to use this app for good results.

MosaLingua has some quirks, like all apps, but this app continually improves the interface and provides detailed and helpful support FAQs on MosaLingua and customer service email support is prompt and helpful if you need it.

I tried many other Spanish apps but none of the ones that were free at had the helpful features this one did. In my opinion it is highly underrated and uses advanced techniques such as long-term flashcards learning which are evidence based to drill down the things that you don’t know. Fully support!

I’m learning French from different apps. But this is the only one that I feel like is helping me the most. Because I’m learning how to speak as oppose to other apps that just want you to memorize names of animals but doesn’t show how to use it in any sentence...This is one the best investment you can make if you’re serious about learning a language. I’m really happy with it

Enjoying MosaLingua for learning some basic Italian for an upcoming trip: almost like language flashcards with integrated audio, ability to record oneself, a writing component, built-in progress tracker, and spaced memorization learning system. It’s nice to be able to use MosaLingua offline, as well.

This was a great language tool until they combined all the languages into one app. Now it is difficult to know where to go and how to use it. Especially if you are learning more than one language.
The sad thing is I not only paid for the full editions but extra material on top of it. And they claim you don’t lose the material you paid for but I cannot find it on this new app.
I am fine as long as I can still use the old apps. They still work. I am concerned that in the future they no longer will. Especially when IOS 13 comes out this fall.

Overall, a great app that helps with memorization. Although some minor improvements:

-i wish MosaLingua was more visually appealing
-i wish the speaker of the sentences sounded less robotic and spoke a bit slower
-make it easier to add vocab from the different categories. It’s really confusing when you click the + to add vocabulary...

I used it for years now, to learn English and Spanish and it is great cause you really can focus on what you want to learn ! It is really important to not use MosaLingua only and have other streams of content to progress but for vocabulary, Mosalinga is just the best, and I saw progress in my langages very quickly !

I am learning two languages and I like having them both together in one app. It’s easy to change from one to another and I didn’t lose any of my information and progress in the transition. I love MosaLingua and recommend it friends. I will be a life long language learner due to MosaLingua

Totally fantastic language learning app—has helped me advance more quickly than I thought possible! I use the paid/upgraded version, and I’ve gotten more value than I could have hoped for.

This is a great app because it doesn’t force you to learn how to read and write if you choose not to. I just wanna be able to understand and speak. I probably should learn how to read and write but I am too lazy. However if you want to learn to read and write MosaLingua will teach you that as wel!

This is one of the best tools for learning new vocabulary . Other apps teach you single words detached from context . MosaLingua teaches you full phrases and expressions that are fully relevant to using French in everyday life . The sounds are compelling (no clunky robotic speech) and the memorization strategies superb. You can’t go wrong using MosaLingua

Nothing in this tool really stands out. Mémorise is more feature rich than this. Too many errors. Missing audio files. Not a fan of one word to one word scheme, words have definitions. Would prefer a tool that first gives definition in the target language and then an English equivalent if requested. The spelling exercise is too awkward, not helpful. Honestly only use this when I need to kill a minute or two.

I’ve been using it for years, both German and French. Especially helpful for pronunciation, and exceptionally good customer service, email responses always within 24 hours and on point

Unlike the negative review, I was able to locate where to restore purchases and everything works perfectly (including premium content and additional grammar add-ons), which means this is still a great app !

Since they have moved to the one app for all languages I receive false notifications that says I have things to review or it has been a week since I have reviewed things which is not correct. So I feel they are not making the updates that are needed since the change. I have enjoyed MosaLingua before the change but not now.
