toolani: International Calling Reviews

I called my mom in El Salvador three different times because I thought I had a bad connection at first. Then realized that after a while the same thing kept being said trying to confirm if we could hear each other ok. I stopped talking and it sounded like mom was still answering my questions but after maybe 30 seconds a loop of her same responses started. I let it run 2-3 times then for no reason the call went into voicemail!!! In the meantime I got fooled into using up some of my credit at .25/minute. So bizarre! I had not used toolani in a while. Now I don’t trust using it but still have about $4 in it!!

I have been trying to get the Probate Department at the British Virgin Islands. When I manage to get someone to answer at customer service was have a hard time hearing each other. When I get transferred, it rings a long time and I get disconnected. This is a business call, and I really need to connect. I chose this app because it supposedly had the best connection. I’ve had better connections with using my ATT line but it’s just so expensive! But I guess this app saves money at the expense of quality sound.

I would give 4-5 stars to toolani. I’m calling to France often. The connection is good. The rate is correct. I would recommend toolani to everyone. It would be great if the company gives bonus points or some promotions more often to encourage users calling more and buy more credits 😊

I am an American Expat to Barcelona, Spain. I have found toolani to be so helpful. It is easy to pay, easy to use, and I have never had a problem! NEVER HAD A PROBLEM! All you have to do is call the number you wish to call, and then call the number they give you. It is simple and works perfectly, at least for me, every time! Thank you this app.

Poor. I set the account up last evening, topped with u$s 5 and the call just will not go through. it doesn't even ring and drops out. very disappointed!!! The chat support does not work and no answer to the emails. I would rate I wit a zero if I could . Check lots of bad reviews in the internet !!!

I’ve been using Voxofon, and I can never call when I’m at home , it has the worst connection ... so I always had to drive around the neighborhood to be able to talk
I just gave this a test try and was able to actually call from home WOW yay

this app worked very good for me until lately that no connection can be established at all. It’s very frustrating. I tried to get in touch with the customer support but up to now nothing has been done.

Very easy to use and good rates about $5 for 30 min to a mobile phone in the Philippines from USA. My wife can now stay connected to her family with relying on them having a internet connection. I recommend this service.

They are true to their money, the calls go through with no problem. Best of the service on the other side of the receiving end, and has good reception so far for two years it’s been the best I’ve ever used..

Since I signed up for this app and purchased $10 to make international call but it has not worked. The flex access number assigned to me is also not working. I have complained twice and only once I got a reply. I have asked this app to refund me my money since I cannot make any call period. I am going to look for another company. I am not going to get my family members sign up because this app doesn’t work. What a waste of my money and time.

I call my mom and the phone doesn’t even ring out and all of a sudden you will hear her voice, and while we are still talking the call cuts off, and this happens over and over again, and to think that they said that the rate is 8.9c/min to cell phones to Nigeria only to find out that the lowest min rate is 14c is a blindfold and outright ripoff and ridiculous. Horrible😡

A totally incredible app.
The convenience, the ease of setting it up, and the ease of using it, is unsurpassed.
The huge amount of savings are not to be had anywhere else.

Was never connected they still takes my minute each time email them in regard to credit back my minutes no one address my concern.. i don’t even know or see where to remove my billing account information there’s never a customer service when I try to chat or email my email have never reply still nothing.

Really basic with a nice overall interface, just select the number and make high quality international calls

I’ve been using toolani for many many years. I highly recommend it to everyone who makes phone calls overseas.

I signed up yesterday with $10 to start. It worked fine. I went in today to make a call and it showed my account was deactivated. I still had $8 and some change left to use for calls and it’s gone. I did send an email and am waiting for a reply. From what I’m was reading in other reviews they may respond since I posted a review. Who knowS. We shall see. So far not impressed.

toolani is the best so far for calling landlines and cell phones all over the world. I call many countries in middle east with no hassle whatsoever. Recommended 👍🏼

I invested a $20 credit to this scam over 4 weeks ago. I have only been able to get a partial connection twice. Partial because once the call lasted for few minutes and disconnected, the other time the recipient could not hear me. The rest of the the calls I made, up until now, never connected. My calls are from United States to Nigeria.

Signed up about three months ago and has never had a problem. Clear connections to Trinidad and Tobago. Price is competitive. So far so good.

I like toolani however reactivating on my phone number and email is not possible anymore. Costumer service write we’ll work on it.
2 weeks no news from costumer service I’m about to switch to a different calling app

I thought this was a gimmick at first. toolani is a life saver and ridiculously cheap. I used it when in Australia calling USA and now visa versa since living in the US. I highly recommend and refer all my people to use toolani
