David vs Goliath - Bible Story Reviews

I am willing to pay an app purchase price, but I am very disgusted how everything is becoming subscriptions.

I do wish that apps were more upfront with the costs, though.

That said. This is well-done and fun! I am not much a of a gamer, so that says something; I was looking for something clean for my kids and this came up. I want more Bible stories PLEASE! It is unique and engaging. I believe that the format brings the story to life and helps kids remember through the process of the games. Honestly they’re not even going to ‘feel’ like they’re learning something.

It brings the story to life and makes you laugh along the way.

You have to touch the characters often, maybe there could be more interactive choices included with this?

Possibly more hidden items to find within each scene?

Overall I am excited to have stumbled across this.
I can’t wait to show the kids!

I don’t usually rate games, but this game was so fun! Most bible games are trivia or scripture quizzes. The children’s apps are often retold in a way that minimizes or otherwise changes scriptural fact. I love this game because it is neither of these!

I fell in love with the hidden achievements, storyteller voice, and accuracy of biblical story. I wish Righteous Tales has other bible games for purchase.

It was also very challenging on the hard mode! There were some boards I couldn’t beat! I really enjoy this game! Totally worth the price!

I really like DavidvsGoliath. It's fun to play, but also tells this bible story accurately. I only wish that there were more like them. So if you could please make some more apps like this.
(Edit) I have an Apple device and when I updated to iOS 11 it’s incompatible with the new software. So I’m begging you, for the people who use Apple products please update to iOS 11 so I can play the game again!!! In the meantime I’ll keep an eye out for an update.

The gameplay is quite fun and if you like mini-games you’ll enjoy. The stories weave together something on one hand total fun comedy and on the other serious sunday school bible lessons. Only thing I don’t like so far is number of taps required to continue through the stories. My kids used to watch Veggie Tales when they were little and the humor in the game reminded me of that. Enjoying so far ...

I have been amazed by how much my four year old loves DavidvsGoliath. He has become extremely interested in the bible story (a huge plus) and I have seen him practice and practice at one of the achievements until he's been able to unlock it. It's really been wonderful to watch -- his determination and skill develop. Would love for another bible story to be available like this one.

Fun way to bring Bible stories to life - I hope they make more! The games can be hard for young kids but offer a good challenge for older kids and can be skipped if they're too difficult. I didn't appreciate David's proud attitude about his sling skills as I felt it was inconsistent with his Biblical character. But overall this is a great resource out their for kids to interact with Bible stories!

This is AMAZING! When I was younger I used to play a lot of point and click games, and this was so hilarious! I love that it stays to the overall theme of the Bible but also adds in some fun to keep the little one’s entertained. BTW I love it when David just whips out an electric guitar and the sheep start head banging! 😂

Captivating and fun. A high quality, beautifully animated game that brings the Bible to life in a clever and creative way. I am smiling and laughing through every scene! So much fun and so full of truth. My nephews and nieces love discovering all of the secrets and trying to get the highest score on each game. This is by far the best Christian story app I've seen. Great job Righteous Tales. I can't wait for the next story!

The game is awesome but when you only finish like 25 percent of the story then your going to have to pay money to get the other 75 percent. I feel bad for all the other people that can not get it. Other than all that this game is quite interesting to play. It’s great quality but I wish the game would not tell you what you need to archive cool game.

no glitches! worth purchasing the whole story! A nice update would be to add a level about a/the bear David faught! very funny and theatrical! apart from that it is a great app! now to go back to ace some levels ........oh yeah a hint button could be helpful in finding those seemingly impossible to find ones!

What I love best is that my 2 year old son can mess around with this thing all day and not be taken to some ad, or accidentally buy something with our account. It is very kid friendly. All the way up to the math problem it makes you do to prove you are an adult. Haha. Super funny, and proves they have the whole family in mind. Thanks.

My daughter loves this game, but it is so short that it gets old, fast. The good news is that you buy it for a small cost and you can renew the purchase, at no extra expense, if you want to remove it and add it back at a later date. There has also been the promise of additional games in DavidvsGoliath, but no progress has been seen on that for a year now.

I work with kids, and one time during nap time, one of the two year olds woke up early and saw me playing this game. He started fussing until I showed him what I was playing. He was FASCINATED! Even with the sound off, he loved it.
I love the witty humor in this. It's stuff the kids understand, and adults will find funny too. Well done!

I could not think of a better for my six year old son to master his slingshot-giant-slaying-bible-loving-skills and not to mention developing his motor skills. David is my favorite character. The way the story is laid out, it really helps you to think and hear what God is saying to you now. DavidvsGoliath is also well constructed and produced. This isn’t something thrown together. This is the best of the best. It really honors the scriptures! Thank you. :)

Makes learning fun for everyone. Not only does DavidvsGoliath teach the bible in a fun way, but it also has elements of music theory, history, math, and physics. I was so impressed with this game that I bought the full version for my son. It's great to have a Biblical alternative to other apps.

This game is everything you could want! It’s funny entertaining and accurate in the biblical sense!!! I truly hope for more games like this to come!!! From all bible heroes and examples from the Bible I will definitely be recommending it to all my friends and family and the church!!!

This is an amazingly creative game! It is fun, done very well, relevant in language and great artistry. I hope the continue to create more Bible stores in this cartoon-arcade type of game. You all make learning fun for kids of all ages! :)

Downloaded DavidvsGoliath for my 6 year old son to try out. He is quite particular about his apps and loves Angry Birds the most. But this may be his new favorite one. He loves DavidvsGoliath and hasn't wanted to play anything else since downloading it. Great work!

I just played this game for the first time it is the best Bible game out,didn’t realize it’s 7 years old should make more Bible story games we need more bible game apps like this 🙏will any new games from this company be coming?

My grandson who is not quite four absolutely loves this game and so do I! It keeps his interest with the interaction. The story is very interesting and funny for kids while being very accurate. He loves beating Goliath and all the games go with the story so uniquely! I agree..... these people need to make more games!!!
