Spark Reading Reviews

I wanted to like SparkReading; the format is excellent - including a quiz after each reading section (similar to a standardized test), so has the potential to help with reading comprehension. However the content is limited to the most boring pieces of work that a kid can read. These are short reading segments on random non fiction topics rather than stories or books. It’s not a reading app you would expect . It feels like they found free content and used it to build an app you have to pay for. Plus, the age range is so vast that there is very little content for any given grade. It’s advertised for middle school but this content is sprinkled within a sea of content aimed at younger readers. I’m currently trying to get a refund..

This is the worst app ever if you want to the worst I’ve ever downloaded this they have the worst books for third graders and have the best books for the older kids that is not fair and if you’re in third grade the books all you get is like snow day those are for kindergartners and I’m not a kindergartner I am in third grade right now and I just started and I already hate these books and I already downloaded today and I already red some And they’re horrible when you press get more books they give you the same books that doesn’t help at all so if you wanna download SparkReading you better get ready for the worst app in the world and I’m going to get revenge on you for this if you don’t change this I will get revenge on you for

This is not the best learning app. I have read so many stories in my lifetime, but have never experienced so much overage stories. For example, if you are twenty, you would want to read something for your age level so that you could understand it. But if your in SparkReading, you can’t do that for even kids! Kids should be able to have a FREE environment that lays out all of the books they will understand and something that’s on their grade level or age range. SparkReading again doesn’t provide that! I have read a story about Abraham Lincoln on SparkReading. I know it’s obviously something I can understand, but do you really expect a 8/9 yr old child to be able to look at every detail and answer pointless hard questions about it? NO! That should be in the fourth grade range! That’s what I’m talking about. Now, this is MY opinion. Don’t take this personal. I do love SparkReading but please, UPGRADE DA DANG THANG! Please!! Let children have the right to understand stories in grade level and age range! We are all people! Come on, that’s just JANK!!!!!

I give SparkReading a 4.5 because I was looking for an app that my kids would use to read instead of the old traditional way. An app with things they are interested in. I came across SparkReading and both my kids loved when they saw books/stories about basketball or baseball (their favorite sports) they even like that it gave a quiz at the end. Which I thought was brilliant because you can tell kids to read and read but do they really understand it? How do you know they really read the book/story? With the quiz at the end it’s a little reassurance that yes, they did read the book/story and they understood it.. I had only one issue at the beginning which was that even tho I downloaded and paid for subscription on my iPad, there was no way to “log in” to the same account I had made on my iPad so they could use on their iPads. So I emailed the company and within 2 hours I had an answer back helping me. * Kudos for great customer service!!*

** just a suggestion, you should create a way for parents to make an account and adding the kids, so then the kids can log in without having to pay the subscription again**

I do like SparkReading, it really has helped me with reading comprehension and memorizing skills although, it cost so much money for me because I don’t have a job yet and I would like it to be a little bit less money. Anyways, I do recommend buying SparkReading.

This game is fun but I wish that you don’t have to pay money to read other books but other than that I love all the books that there is here on SparkReading I think that it is also good for all ages and better than driving to the library just to get a book to return again there is lots of books on here I’m sure there is one that you will find in love

Positive: it is a great app and it quizzes your child to make sure they understand what they’re, Reading it has four articles for Grade
Negative: it goes for third grade fourth grade and fifth grade I wish I could go a little bit above first grade, and if you want to focus on one grade pacifically you have to pay 3.99 for SparkReading so that way you can just Focus on one grade

I love it as a student in grade 5 but I wished it had more stories and supported grades 5 and above and all the way from kindergarten with letters and sentences. But I do find it useful and recommended the Purchases if you find SparkReading useful as well . Over all I think it’s a great app in my opinion but could offer more . (Peekaboo is AMAZING ) -a grade 5 student

My daughter needed to find a app that helped her read to a standard level in reading, we kept searching for the perfect app when my husband found this one! It is such a great app with such great story’s and tests for kids to take. The only problem is the paying but everything else is wonderful! Thank you so much! My daughter is now an excellent reader and has moved up to a higher reading level

It will help you read better and you get to answer questions at the end which helps you even better try SparkReading I been looking for apps and there all not free or what I need I suggest SparkReading if you 3rd 4th or 5th grade child is having trouble with reading

Reading is not possible for some children 👧 but with they can reed and they can be able to give tests thes app will help them to learn English these app should get 5 stars ⭐️ I love ❤️ SparkReading it makes my reading much better 😍

It totally helps me read with my child and it reads with you depending on your child’s grade level my child has been having problems with reading now he can read better!

This is a great reading and reading comprehension game! But there is only one thing that I do not like about it and it is that it does not have that many stories for the 2nd grade level. But pretty much everything else is really good about SparkReading! You should get it for sure. It really helps with reading comprehension.

I have always needed help with my reading comprehension and SparkReading has helped me. I love SparkReading it’s different, and interesting stories to learn about. And remember reading isn’t just about learning so you can pass a test and be over with it, reading is about exploring, and having fun.

My child can read and answer questions my child really has issues with reading in school so this really helps and it helps her learn the words by SparkReading reading. thank you so much for making SparkReading for children.

I totally recommend SparkReading! It has plenty of books for all grade levels 2-8. I just started SparkReading a week ago and I’m already loving it! My favorite book was probably “Anne Frank” I am a Fourth-Fifth grade and The books are just amazing! I think this would be an amazing app for people to download.

I love reading because you can get better at it. I also like reading because you can learn knew things and you get to learn about it. I just cant amagen if I didn’t like reading. In reading you can learn new things. I hope I encouraged the people that don’t like to read to now love reading

I love SparkReading! Because it’s free and when you first see it you will see that it asked for money well that’s if you want all books! Also after you read the book it gives you a quiz to see if you were reading the book! You get to pick your age and profile pic! I love SparkReading so much!! Like wow I’m impressed😱😦😯😊

SparkReading is good but I wish u dont have to pay for it I’ve Ben doing this for a week or so and it has Ben great but I don’t want to pay for it at all and I love SparkReading and every time I use it I fill smarted but if u could at least lower down the prices or take it off that would be great I’m going into 5th grade and I have trouble with reading and this is the only good reading app 5th grade is a hard grade and I only have 4 weeks into I do better in reading so can u at least just take it off I would hate to pay for this so yea pls respond and change the problem

This game helps me learn more about everything. I read a story about avocados and I learn so much I love this game so much may be you can try it if you don’t know about All lot of things down load this game now
