I was just having a nice time doing SplashReading cause I needed practice on math and I wanted to do a lesson but it kept telling me to buy a membership something like that BUT I GIVE ONLY 1 star and first of all if you want people to play your app then why put purchases on SplashReading when you know there trying to learn if you want people to play your app then β€œSTOP” trying to put this whatever it’s called member ship and daily purchases and even monthly payments

Really

All you want is money so you see you putting $79 for a year and you think people are going to pay for that I don't think so that's why I'm giving you one star on your rating all you want is money as I said in the first line but I bet you made enough money off of SplashReading already so calm down and I don't think anyone is going to be $79 for one year and you know it that's why you are so dumb and you put your app for 39,99 $40 are you kidding that is disrespectful

Beware of this free trial!

I’ll set aside the high subscription costs as they are upfront about that before you purchase. Be warned if you go to cancel you cannot do it in SplashReading (...they’ll take payment in SplashReading however). SplashReading only solicits feedback on why you’d like to cancel and in subdued/small print below it warns that your subscription isn’t cancelled until you go to iTunes Subscriptions. The link they send you to complete that task is invalid. Questionable ethics in my view. Good luck!

Horrible

I hate this math game it is the the worst .#1 reason is that if you need the trial for the end of 3rd to the end 5th grade then they shouldn’t show it or put something on it saying β€œFor VIP members only β€œ or something like that.#2 reason is that the 3rd grade lessons are to easy or a 3rd grader. And the last reason I hate it that the cartoony hippopotamus is in every grade ! SplashReading creator should at least put a system that asks us if you want the hippopotamus or not. So I recommend no one to install SplashReading.😑😑🀬🀬

Wouldn’t Recommend.

I thought i was going to have a great time playing this. Ive played this at school and its really fun! But....when i got this i was so happy! Until after i β€œfinishedβ€œ one of my lessons BOOM! A pop-up that says you have to pay about 30$ a month! I brought my ipad to my mom and she said β€œI would buy this for you but it’s too expensive! If it was 30$ every year/few months i would buy it.β€œ so i deleted SplashReading . Im so sad because i thought this was free.

Stole my money too.

This program has way to many glitches between its apps for the kids and the parent app and the website. They do not sync well together. I got this because I wanted to keep track of my kids work from my iPhone when they do there learning game on there iPads but the systems are not updating and it's very annoying. What should be done is give us a partial refund for paying so much to access all the grades and not have the program work as stated. I also wish there was a way to turn off the non learning games on SplashReading or track the usage of that as well to make sure our kids are not just playing that.

Not impressed

I signed up for the trial to see if this would help my daughter (10 years old) to learn and be more interested in math. My card was charged after 5 days versus the 7 day period as stated. There was absolutely no way to contact anyone to get a refund of my $80. She was not very interested in SplashReading /games and said, β€œI already know this stuff, we learned this in fourth grade.” My 4 year old plays with it more.....so at least someone is getting some use out of it but definitely not worth $80. Super disappointed and wish I could get a partial refund.....at least!

This app won’t open

Ok, so I’m only giving this 2 stars because I’m not sure if the problem is with my daughter’s phone or SplashReading it’s self. I got SplashReading for my daughter to brush up on her math skills a subject she has been struggling in since we switched to online learning. We went to start SplashReading . It should a loaded screen and then the page went blank. I tried restarting SplashReading 2 more times and the same thing happened. Now my daughter has my old phone an Apple 6S. The only think I can think of is maybe SplashReading is not compatible with such an old phone. But all the other apps we have gotten her on SplashReading Store work just fine. I think it’s really odd that this one did not. If the makers of SplashReading would like to reach out to me and offer advice on what we can do to fix the problem I would be happy to change my rating.

Okay Game

To start off this game said nothing about money so I downloaded the games for me. ( nine year old) I got the game and had to do all the stuff it asked me for. When I finally got the game it said are you ready for your free trial. I’m like what the heck! It never said anything about money when I got it so I’m gonna say if you are a child do not download this game with out parents permission because it will cost money.

It’s okay I guess

I’m writing this review because in my opinion you can’t really play with it. What I’m saying is that you can’t play until you pay the trial that costs like $30 or more! And that might too expensive for just a child that is trying to learn a little more about math. And the crazy part is that I haven’t evan played the game yet because you have to pay the β€œexpensive” trial. But it would be better if they liwer down the price a bit😁But besides that if you do pay the trial it would be an amazing game because it gives you a little sneak peek on what it’s going to be like. So if you’re willing to pay for the game and have an amazing time go right ahead but I’m just going to let this game be for now.

Annoying

1 Get the annoying hippo to go away.
He is super duper annoying and I hate when he pops up and says something annoying. 2 Why do you have to pay for stuff it is annoying but it is also a waste of money think about all the other things that people can do with the money. 3 I would like an update to SplashReading so people would like it more. If you do this I will give you five stars.

Awesome game! But...

I love this game for my fourth grader! She’s learning a lot and it makes math fun! But she’s having a tough time with distributive math problems and it’s throwing her off. Maybe make it easier for kids and have special levels for multiplication problems? Thanks!

Recommend this app

SplashReading is one of the best app available on SplashReading Store. It’s is brightly coloured, interactive, and safe to hand your device over to your child to keep them busy while learning. I recommend SplashReading to all parents of young children and look forward to using it in the future for children in my life. It’s hard to find educational app that children want to play, but this is one. For once, I don’t have to worry much about the screen time or suitable games. I bought them SplashReading and they are learning without even realising it. And best of all they can’t get enough of it. I also feel like my child has grabbed ahold of the math concepts more quickly than some of the other kids of his age. The games are very appropriate for kids and keep them occupied. The graphics and sound are better than other I have seen. Job well done!!!

New 4th Grader

My son, who detests math, has been coming home the last few weeks and talking non-stop. Today he begged me to download on my phone (he doesn’t have any electronics yet). He is so excited and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for helping him like and look forward to the subject. ❀️❀️

Excellent varied math experience

Splash math provides my home schooler with a vast field of math disciplines to practice and master. It rewards with coins and games to make him happy and exposes him to new ideas and common core structure to keep his math learning challenging, making me very happy. Its a great change up from worksheets day in and out!!!

Is it great

I love splash math because now my kids will be doing math in the car when I can just relax or if I have to do some work and chores they can just do math without me it is very good and I love it I’m not always home so I can’t always do math with them so splash math is a great way to get math done and still do other things.

Perfect For Brain Injury Patients, Too!

I had a traumatic brain injury several years ago. Unfortunately, I have had to relearn all my basic skills again. Splash Math has been a God send. I am mastering skills that have left my doctors speechless over the years. Thank you, Splash Math, for making learning more enjoyable, easier to learn, and in a format that stays with me.

My son now practices Math weekly awesome, easy, kids/friendly app. Tracks improvements, accuracy and time spent on app.
My sons math level is above average according to school tests and SplashReading still offers him challenging levels.
I did recommend it to my sister and friend who both love it.

From Struggling to the Top of the Class!

My daughter has never been very strong in math. She struggled her way through 1st through 3rd, not quite at the bottom, but never really understanding the material. 4th grade hit her like a Mac truck, and because math wasn't my strong subject either, I knew she was in trouble.

Then I found Splash Math. I purchased it out of pure desperation. The $10 a moth fee seemed worth it, because it was either that or hire an expensive tutor.

I am SO glad I decided to try it!!! At 20 mins a day and only a few weeks into school, my daughter has reached the top of her class in math!!! Her teacher is astounded at just how easily the material is for her (as am I, since my daughter was never a math genius.)

If your child needs help, do yourself a favor and get them SplashReading. You won't regret it!!

Love it even though I don’t like getting wrong answers

Hi! This is Isa. My mom always has told me to go on SplashReading to move on to fourth grade otherwise if I do not try this then during the first day of school my teacher will kick me out of the grade after lunch and I will be really disappointed. Also I have a suggestion. Maybe if I get all the three stars and complete the math you can add like a pretend play game in the game section and I can tap on it and it gives me like a character’s mansion where you can take care of him/her and it can have the same stuff like in the bungalow location I like to play with in Toca Life: World. The mansion can have lots of buildings and the city can look like this:
