Tested DiabetesPal as a cost effective way to be able to download data from meter and create a report. Couldn’t get plastic entering some test data and sending a report. CSV Button doesn’t work. Send report produces a page of HTML! App seems like it would be great if it works!

Something happens in the last update. First DiabetesPal freezes constantly and when it does run it duplicates or triples your reading. I have gone back 2 years 3 or 4 times now and deleted the duplicates but they keep coming back. Also there is a pop up that says there are duplicates but DiabetesPal freezes and won’t remove them. There is no delete all so you can upload a backup either. I regret having paid money for DiabetesPal

I was expecting free app.
After entering my datas I found out having data in the iClaud is not free and I thought it was
Additionally, one need to pay to continue to use DiabetesPal after 100 entries.
None of these is informed on the description.
I am looking for another app free of cost.

I cannot easily read most of the text within DiabetesPal. Type small and light in color.

So, I started using Diabetes Pal as a back up. I am a couple of months into it and it has notified me that I can only keep 100 results. That’s REALLY lame! Most diabetics check bs several times a day and that adds up to 100 quickly!! And it’s nice to look back and see patterns. Can’t do that with DiabetesPal!! Deleted it!!

I wish cursor would jump from field to field as they are filled. Especially on blood pressure frequently get entry error because I didn’t select the field properly. Wish the reports could be managed better to allow segregation by type of test. Easier to show sugar levels vs BP, etc. Overall a solid app with lots of features and detail.

I would give this 2 stars but it provides graphs which is a good feature but you cant really put or lookup meal information which I don’t like. I also can’t enter the correct type of physical activity. The whole app is very limiting.

I’ve been using DiabetesPal for a few weeks now. It mostly provides everything I need. Thanks! My Dr will be glad to have the data I’m able to track.
One suggestion is to have two more periods to choose from for ‘before activity’ and ‘after activity.’ Being active has a big impact on blood sugar and being better able to see that would be helpful.

Once you get DiabetesPal figured out, it seems to be very user friendly.

The software is great. I use it for my MinPin who is. Diabetic to keep track of everything. Thank you. My vet is impressed too!
I have one question. I’ve tried to ‘edit’ an entry for Glucose and I click on edit, put the check mark by the one I want to edit, but the only option is to ‘delete’ or the waste basket icon. I just want to add something. Do I need to delete the whole entry and then re-enter it with the information I want to add?? Thank you!

Helps encourage me to eat and exercise better by showing how it affects my blood sugar. No longer prediabetic.

This is a great app. So easy to use.

When you have a diabetic dog; journaling is so important. Between food measuring , testing BGs, measuring food, and injecting insulin.
Diabetic pets parents can get a bit overwhelmed. This makes journaling so simple and since it can be used on multiple devices, journaling and running curves while out and about, is easy !

I am currently looking forward to using the graph to monitor my diabetes.

Wish it was just a touch mor flexible and intuitive but I love it makes tracking my actions real easy

It seems to work very well. I started using it after I had to restart finger sticks. The calculated A1C is a nice touch. It works for me.

Great app. I have tried many diabetes apps over the years but no one is as good as this one. I can highly recommend.

I own DiabetesPal on all my apple products and love it. It loads fast, and has a lot great recording features.
I needed help with my Apple Watch Diabetes Pal app and Pascal replied back fast, and figured it out, I just needed to force touch the screen to activate the glucose, insulin, etc. entry fields.

DiabetesPal is absolutely awesome! Absolutely love it. I have a pretty serious question, however. If I switch to a new iPhone and I do the whole iCloud transfer thing, will all of my logs and stuff be saved via the cloud or no? Please read this and get back to me ASAP

I have found this program useful in helping me maintaining reading of sugar levels, blood pressure and weight. It allows me to export all date to my devices and data is always available for review by my healthcare provider. The only issue I have is it will not accept my height in feet and inches. Metric is ok!

The review pop-up popped up as soon as I downloaded DiabetesPal , and then again when I tried to enter my SECOND entry. I had to close DiabetesPal then re-open it and now I’m writing this review so I can entire my info and USE DiabetesPal .

DiabetesPal is not bad but you only have so many entries and the you have to buy DiabetesPal . I will not use or recommend this to anyone. I also plan am making this know on social media. I do not like the bait and switch tactic.

What did you do on your last update you blew all my readings out and changed all of my glucose readings. Can you fix this or am I going to have to change DiabetesPal .

Previously rated lower because I thought it had a problem with the blood pressure record, turns out it was operator error (i.e. Me). Love DiabetesPal, it has helped me keep track of several indicators for me and my doctor to keep my diabetes under control. My doctor was so impressed with the reports it creates he asked what DiabetesPal was so he could recommend it to his other diabetes patients. Don't think there's a better app out there that can do what DiabetesPal does.
