Teamwork software is incredible and I strongly recommend it as a team and project management tool. That being said, the Project app I find practically useless. I can’t do 90% of what I can and need to be able to do via the website. The list of missing functionality is so huge I can’t list it. I can’t see this being useful to any member of a team and recommend you not waist your time.

Latest version with most recent IOS release constantly requires logging in when accessing directory of people on a project. Highly annoying when you're finished typing out a message, go to select a recipient and then your prompted to sign-in. Then your message is lost. You must retype and once you're ready to send again... You're prompted to sign-in, yet again.
Based on the functionality you can access - like tasks due and projects to see status, I gave it 2 stars.
Beyond that - it's nearly worthless. I'd rather use my personal task manager if I can't use the company system on the go.
If the login system is fixed, it would be a great app. Like it used to be. Full PM system on the go. Until then, I'm stuck with using the cc teamwork option to keep Teamwork updated or I just email and be done with it.

Crashing over and over and over.
** The upload from photos feature does not work ** It is available as an option, but when selected absolutely nothing happens.

The Teamwork Project platform has tons of features and just blows away all competitors in features, design, and value. The iPhone app, however, isn’t nearly as powerful as the website (which is fine-it does most of the important stuff and supports push notifications). The real disappointment for me is the iPad app; it could be so good if it had all the features and power of the website but with native touch UI... they actually used to develop a separate iPad app that basically fit this description. Now, however, the iPad app is just a universal app that stretches the phone app and does nothing more. 🤦🏼♂️ so 5 stars for the service, 4 stars for the phone app, and 1 star for the iPad app.

My company uses teamwork for web development and while the webpage version seems good TeamworkProjects feels like they went “oh we need an app too! Quick throw one together” just so they could tick the box. Simple stuff like in the overview section I can’t copy content is a problem. We put things like filepaths and sign in info for the sites there and it would be nice to just highlight and copy but it for whatever reason doesn’t do that. Little stuff like that. Big picture its fine but once you get into the day to day minutia things start to become a problem. For now I’m just going to use the webpage because for some reason its better laid out and easier to use than a native app.

The iPad app could use some improvement, I can’t use the tagging feature because it is either hidden below the screen when opened or disappears after it is opened and I try to search for a tag. Also typing anything is a challenge because the keyboard covers the text so you constantly have to hide the keyboard to see what you typed. Plus there is no native chat feature in either iPad or iPhone.

One thing that’s annoying is that, when I’m on a Task and I want to go back to the Task List, I can’t just easily go back to it. I have to back out all the way to Projects, click on the project name and then go back to Tasks. I have to start all over again each time. Also, (even in the web version) PLEASE ADD being able to easily see the date/time when a task was created. This is another annoying problem.

... TeamworkProjects is just too clunky. It can do everything I want, but is inconvenient in the number of steps required. I find I use it only to quickly look at a list or check a task as complete. Anything else is just too much of a pain. I find I just wait until I’m on my laptop.

I find the website much easier to use than TeamworkProjects . I want to use TeamworkProjects more, but it’s clunky, tasks are hard to work with, it’s not nearly as easy to navigate around. It works, but it’s just not as seemless or intuitive as the web app.

Doesn’t have an option to delete a comment. So I have to go in my web browser on my phone to delete or wait till I can get back to my computer. Overall, clunky and not much flow to TeamworkProjects .

App crashes sometimes.
Please add option to upload a file from the iOS device.

I have read most of the current reviews. I see that a lot of issues have been addressed. TeamworkProjects does seem to need some work but it’s a good way to stay connected to the team.
I would expect there is an overhaul in the future of TeamworkProjects . If I want to do more work I will wait to get on my computer. Otherwise, it helps me do some of what I need to do okay.

Love TW and TeamworkProjects . Have used for many years. Current app does an auto sign out after trying to notify people in messages. Bug needs to be fixed asap.
Also please add drag and drop for tasks in lists. Miss that feature.

This review is not so much for TeamworkProjects as it is for Teamwork Projects as a project management solution. In my analysis of the top 20 web-based project management tools nothing competes with Teamwork when it comes to value for small business. This is primarily because their licensing model is not based on user count but on project count and storage limit. For a mere $49 a month I receive 20 projects and plenty’o’storage. I’ve added 30 people to the project and everyone is in there adding files and solutions and the price doesn’t change. Their support is also fantastic. It’s hard to go wrong with this solution.

Im a college student trying to keep track of everything, and this is the best assignment-tracking app I've found, and even better, it's free for my purposes!!
- I can keep track how much time I spend on each assignment, which helps me plan better next time
- I get massive satisfaction by checking tasks off as complete
- not only do I set a DUE date, I can send a STARTA date, so that helps with procrastination
I haven't been able to figure out how to have a calendar view, like you can on the computer. But, yeah, if there are any other students out there who aren't using it for business coordination and project management, this is a perfect app. I only use one of my two free projects and have tasks lists for each class. It's the best!
