You can count on the program to crash when opening project file from email. Sample provided is the only file that works. Probably a good novelty app, not worth a PM's time.

I downloaded it and tried to open a project I already created only to be thrown a lengthy error. Tried another with the same result. Tried a blank *.mpp file and got the same result. I think I’ll just quit using it after trying it for 20 minutes.

Installed and linked it to our One Drive and iProjectViewer crashes every time I try and browse folders to get to a project plan. No error messages of any type. Just blows itself up. Not a robust application.

Too bad I can’t open a file and give it a spin.

It looks like reasonable for Microsoft implementation of the SAAS for MSProject, but slow to the degree that it is ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

It's scamming you making you to think it's free to get and 'use' but you can basically do nothing unless you pay like $130/year. You get one month free trial but if you don't cancel it in right time... Unless you just need it for a day and have time to set up everything for that free trial, don't even bother downloading it. I just wasted my time.

Looks like a good up when it works. It however crashes anytime the file is opened as an attachment through a mail. You will have to save it int Dropbox or somewhere else and them try open it again before it works. Menu items are also sluggish in performance.
Would give it a 5 if these two are fixed

iProjectViewer is difficult to deal with. It is not user friendly at all.

It hangs up every time I try ot open a Project file from either an email or from Dropbox. I'm glad I didn't pay for this!!

When opening a file from Dropbox I just an error. Tried with several files. The user interface looks like it was ported from 1995.

As a project manager running 7-10 projects in a given quarter, I was excited after getting my iPad Pro and found iProjectViewer to let me work alongside MPP, eProject (homegrown), and Mavenlink - particularly while sitting at home. And with the new Apple keyboard, even better. I have been disappointed after spending my $79.

So far I’ve lost work because the save has proven unreliable to OneDrive (work’s primary). You think it saved your updates and on Monday you find you have to edit your project again in a “real” PM app.

Extremely frustrating to actually use. Unlike MPP, I cannot use the keyboard to navigate the task view. I also cannot enter values in it as if it were excel-like (like MPP). You must tap on the cell; tap again to allow editing - in which case the screen jumps to 200% view and putting the cell 10% below the screen…and you cannot move iProjectViewer up to see the whole cell. As soon as you edit the cell you cannot tab to the next, click on the next, tap anywhere else, it doesn’t matter - you are thrust back up to LINE ONE of your plan. My plans are all over 300 lines (the one I’m on right now has 642). This is totally unacceptable and massively frustrating.

No, this is not an editor. This is a viewer that lets you see everything and you can pinch and zoom out - but not edit that way, and the ones I mentioned alone means (very sadly) this will be a rarely used application - and the most expensive mistake for iPad software in years.

iProjectViewer is fine but needs some more Time spent on UX Design. That kind of improvement might be the way to target people like I, who are in the sincere need of previewing and slightly editing mpp/XML MS Projects file while on the go.

Good job guys, let's plan to take it to the next step like where Projects Adlib is probably heading.

Doesn't work with onedrive

It's only a viewer and you can't revise or edit tasks, PBIs or features, etc... It's strictly just a viewer and so my question is, what would be the point of iProjectViewer if you can't change anything? I might as well be using my laptop vs. my iPad.

Presentation is nice, but even on a 1.3M project the application scrolling and management is very slow.

Does exactly what it advertises. I am able to open and view Project docs on my iPad without any issue.

Someone finally came up with a MS Project Viewer that doesn't need to convert the file to something else first. iProjectViewer can view the original file, which is great for the iPhone!

I will not show my MS Project files in OneDrive/Dropbox for me to download. Also, as of right now, I cannot find any settings menu to cancel my free trial and avoid being billed. Will have to contact Apple support.
