I travel full time, relied on FlightBoard for a number of years and it’s been a great resource. However, they’ve decided apparently to cash out with the onerous ads. If I’m looking for flight information, do you think I want to be forced to watch a lengthy video ad for a game I have zero interest in? Find the pumpkins? Really? And there’s no way around it, you have to watch the full video before you can find your gate. Small ads that don’t interrupt are fine, but I’ll be deleting FlightBoard if I have to watch these videos much longer.

I work in the airline industry, and purchased FlightBoard years ago. Loved having access to latest flight info for whatever airport I need. Unfortunately, in the last year or two FlightBoard switched to having publicity, and is simply unbearable to use. Really a shame, as moved from a five star to a one star product. From memory, I’m sure I paid to get an ad-free version, which makes from problem doubly frustrating.

I used to love FlightBoard as I go to the local airport several times a week to watch from the viewing area. BUT! The new extremely long Ad’s are ridiculous! There is no way to “X” out of the Ad and every time you open FlightBoard now you have a long Ad. I was going to pay the $3.99 but I read some recent reviews on that page and people said that the AD’s are still there and they too are disappointed. I was going to be ok with paying the $3.99 thinking it would stop the ridiculously long AD’s but it doesn’t, so why pay $3.99? I sure hope the owners of FlightBoard come up with a pay for no AD’s (or at least be able to “X” out as soon as the AD’s come up soon. In the mean time they lost me as a user of FlightBoard and I’ll be looking elsewhere for other flight board Apps.

FlightBoard use to be amazing. Now you have to wait for the board to "flip" to even get cancellation or delay information. And if you type in airport codes, it doesn't recognize. You have to put in city names. Also doesn't give gate info until you click on the specific flight. Use to be on the basic first page. If you are in the aviation industry, don't waste your money. You will just end up wasting time.

I paid full price for FlightBoard through another app that was owned (at the time) by the same developer.

FlightBoard I initially purchased is now gone from FlightBoard Store and I have been informed that I have no valid purchase info for the ‘Pro’ version of FlightBoard.

There didn’t used to be a ‘Pro’ version. You unlocked ad-free or extra features from within FlightBoard itself.

So I paid and then I paid and now I am expected to pay again; for what?

To each their own. And until there is some sort of accountability, developers like this one can and will take your money and there’s nothing (by law) you can do about it.

If any of you know how to make this nonsense cease, please tell the rest of us. Please.

I work for an airline, and at one time used FlightBoard all the time, it was pretty much as good as it gets for checking flights, gates, how delayed things are and even cancellations….now it gives you at least 30 seconds of ads for games and other things. Sad to see these developers go down this road, it’s easier to check your flight through google.

Several inbound flights from CANADA to Cancun did not show on the flight board.
If many flights are missing, how can travelers rely on it?
The lack of ability to put in future dates is also a serious shortfall.
Annoying ads without a way to remove them also rates 1 less star.
I know the old Flight Board was by another company but until yours is a good as that one was, your ratings will be limited.

My favorite app for checking flight boards as I travel around the world. But now the ads ruin the functionality, I don’t mind ads, I’d even pay for FlightBoard to work the way it used to. But you can’t close out of the ads, FlightBoard literally doesn’t work at all until you completely close it out three times, quit it, restart. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Looks nice but not reliable. Diverted flights show as delayed or en-route. Even going into details section does not show the correct info. Large number of diversions at DFW today due to thunderstorms but whilst other apps like FR24 show this (and where the flight diverted to) this does not. Followed a friends flight yesterday and it landed 1132 (confirmed by FR24) whilst FlightBoard showed it en route landing 1151. Would be nice to be able to rearrange columns, say I want destination as first column not time, rather than just sort by name.

Accurate and updated often more than the airline apps, with numerous flights and routes throughout the day, however the new updates and aesthetic changes have made it less easy to navigate and too busy to look at the screen. There are more glitches and freezing than before and you can ONLY see flights for the current day, not next day flights unless it is around 11pm. Gate changes are not displayed upfront and it is not as current and efficient as it used to be. That being said, I still use it for the current day along with Flight Aware, which lets you Search 3 days past/future.

App is very useful, however, they recently increased the number of ads. As soon as you open FlightBoard , you get bombarded. After watching FlightBoard that pops up, you get to use app, but not long after you will get another ad. I get it’s free but too many ads and ready to delete it and switch to another.

I have used FlightBoard for years. It is excellent but have found some critical info missing from the boards.
The actual flight boards have Go to Gate, Boarding, closing etc but this is not available on FlightBoard
Wish the developers could pull this data by rewriting the API for FlightBoard

The older version distinguished between actual regional airline subsidiaries instead of listing them under their parent company and you could sort by a specific regional airline. You could also sort by aircraft type. Made it very helpful with my line of work. This simplified version doesn’t help me out much.

This was really good app times of flights was accurate (I work at airport drive taxi this was handy know the flights arrival times be there for pickup ) but somehow it stop working didn't show anything and I give so deleted app didn't find anything better after that now I m back hopefully it starts work as before. I give to app 4 star because it work well then stop I spend $3.99 I got a little disappointed.
Over all app deserves 10 star

Looks Excellent it seems give exact time but we all know of course to expects delays or cancellations at anytime.
The only thing is that it keep giving flashing from yellow to green and changing the schedules with colors which is confusing.
They need to set it still not moving too much at same mode.

Don’t waste your time with FlightBoard if you need info on Southwest Airlines. For some reason no gate info will be available. Other airlines, it works fine. Customer support was nonchalant saying sometimes our “vendors” aren’t reliable. Didn’t give the impression that they would even try to fix the problem.

As one who has a very fluid flight schedule, this is a primary tool I use for all the flexing in my schedule, to track flights and plan/adjust my journeying. It is updated accurately, and has significantly aided my decision making and travel plans. Highly recommended.

This is a great app for both arrivals and departures. Is especially great when picking up someone’s from the airport. I check before I leave home to ensure their plan is on time. Great for international flights. Also is very fast to notify gate changes. I have recommended to all my friends.

We're retired and like to travel but that is only a small percentage of the utility of FlightBoard for me. My dog is a therapy dog at Sonoma County Airport so I am often there with her. Additionally, I am a Certified Tourism Ambassador so helping passengers is job one.
With FlightBoard I can easily see which flights are delayed and by exactly how long. I can also reassure the passengers once FlightBoard shows me that the flight is indeed in the air that the delay is firm so that they can accurately estimate their new arrival time.
People waiting for inbound friends are also so glad to know when their loved ones will really arrive. Valuable app that I use often!

I’m a flight attendant and was encouraged by co-worker to download and started using app last month and LOVE IT!
Has been an incredible asset for most up to date flight info and even more quickly updated then my own companies.
Have in-turn promoted app (many thanks back from them) so much on our FB pages, I think I should maybe get some promotional fees!!!!😁

An error occurred with the last update. I work at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and can tell you that Interjet is not the only flight today. There are likely 35 flights (Allegiant and Interjet).

Correction: Good work on fixing FlightBoard ! I’m seeing several of the flights I threw luggage for this morning.

Because of FlightBoard, I’m now able to mirror flights in FSX Steam and have all the proper info I need. Never before has there been a way to just show all departures or arrivals at an airport, FlightAware doesn’t quite completely cut it. I can mirror a random flight in the flight simulator and have the needed info for them.

FlightBoard is an absolute life-saver in every aspect of air traveling, very VERY well done. Thanks so much.

Love it but how about linking Arrival and Departure information so we can see where plane is coming from to anticipate what the airlines aren't saying. THAT would be powerful.
Also, getting dunned by ads for other Impala apps is unpleasant. I'd be happy to pay for ad-free.

I hardly ever write reviews, but FlightBoard hit the nail on the head all the way down to the analog style board.
It’s accurate, appealing to the eye and nothing more than you need.

Being a frequent flyer/road warrior, I’m in and out of airports at least 50 times a year moving about the world. Having flight tracker has not only helped me maneuver the airports to get to the appropriate gate, but I have been able to help other travelers lost in themselves due to anxiety trying to find their terminal upon landing at their connection airport. As I taxi down the runway, I’m able to see where I need to go right away. This is definitely in the top applications I use when traveling.

When it works, it is a great tool. The reason for the low rating, I have to delete to get rid of the blank screen due to the ads. I have had to delthe app 3 times because of the blank screen.

This is a great app, saved me from missing a connecting flight when we were delayed taking off, Upon arrival before debarking I discovered the connecting flight had moved to another gate, as I already knew the change Iwas able to get to the gate just in time, I likely would have missed the connection had I gone to the gate on my ticket!

Used and liked FlightBoard for years. When it was deleted from service, I tried four others. None were as complete, usable, or reliable. Glad someone brought FlightBoard back to the users!

Ads that you can’t click out of. This used to be a great app - now all I see are ads for pathetic online games for 10 year olds.

FlightBoard helps me to check my flights before I even arrive at the airport. Love the life feed that it has from my home airport to see if my flights are on-time, late or departing early!! Keeps my life in sync!!
