ADP loses here. Don’t bother

ADP loses here. My employer switched payroll processors from and ADP competitor ( that doesn’t offer an integrated bank option such as Wisely) to ADP. My payroll was formerly being deposited into 2 other banking solutions that are well known and widely advertise ‘get paid two days earlier’ . My employer would process payroll on noon on a Wednesday and I would get the deposit by 4PM - a whole 3 days before my Friday payday. After the switch we got stuck in ADP’s monstrous batch processing cycles and that 3 days shrunk to a solid and barely 2 days before my advertised paydate. I thought going to Wisely would put them on par with their bigger and better competitors in this metric. I didn’t. On to myWisely itself Wisely doesn’t offer any features and in fact less meaningful features than the other more well known solutions in their space. Don’t waste your time with myWisely. The reviews regarding customer service here are troubling also. Stick with the better brands here you will thank me.

Edit: You have to opt-in to get early direct deposit unlike peer apps in this group in which it’s automatic. Their TOS verbiage about this is far more restrictive concerning the competition. Wisely is hung up on ‘payment instructions ‘ AKA Payment File. I’m telling you that Wisely is an also ran in their arena of similar app and card offerings.

Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever had

Called for the simple task of setting up my Apple Pay, the CSR I was speaking to for whatever reason didn’t like the answer I gave him to one of their security questions and made it to where I needed to speak with a “specialist” unfortunately my called was disconnected (my fault) so I called back and told them I was just on the phone with someone..blah, blah,blah and said I just need to finish up my apple pay stuff with them..I was told that they couldn’t help that I needed to WAIT for someone to call me back sometime today, no time frame...and that they couldn’t help with anything, I then asked to speak with a manager/supervisor about my situation and was again told that THERE WERE NO SUPERVISORS AVAILABLE AND THAT I NEEDED TO WAIT FOR A CALL BACK, the CSR stated that he could place me on hold to wait for one and he said that we were going back and fourth and then proceeded to tell me to have a good day AND ENDED THE CALL WHILE I WAS SPEAKING TO HIM. Called back a third time and spoke with someone and asked to speak with a manager and was placed on hold and the they too ENDED THE PHONE CALL. This is a joke, I have to talk to people on a daily basis for work and would never hang up on a customer.

User beware.

I had to use this card for a new job. Money goes in quickly. But my card got hacked no fault to my own as I never got a chance to use it. It’s going on a month now of me not being able to access my money. Called them the day it got hacked. Got hung up out. Messaged them in myWisely 10+ times. Said they were going to have someone call me back. No one called. Finally after a month of not being able to pay my bills because they locked my account because it got hacked. I spoke to someone on the phone. Now they have to charge me 25$ to expedite my card so it doesn’t take 10 business day to get to my house. This is all no fault of my own. Haven't been able to pay mortgage or any other bills because my account had been hacked and locked.

Don’t trust the 21k 5* reviews I stopped sending money to this account and now I got an email saying if I don’t start using this account I’ll be charged fees. I have no access course I can’t use this account. Buyer beware this card/app is not what it seems.

i absolute love myWisely! i’m a teen with a job & struggled with spending all my money & myWisely helps me keep myself in track & save money! it allows me to see how much i’ve spent in a month along with letting me know where i spend my money the most & allows me to transfer to savings or my own personal bank account along with notifications of how much i have left remaining or any other small updates such as the amount i spent while making a purchase! :)

High Fees Not in Line with Other Options

If your given one of these cards by your employer you can just give them direct deposit information for your bank account or another card product account (Cogni, acorns, moneylion, Dave, sofi, branch etc) to avoid the high fees of this card. My fees were $88 for 2019, $3 for atm (plus what the atm owner bank charges) most accounts these days have no atm fees or offer reimbursement for a certain amount of fees. This means if you take $20 out of an atm your looking at $6-$7 in fees!!!! They charge you 5% for mobile check deposit (that’s just insane) $1.50 statement fee & weird .51 “foreign transaction fees” (does not mean what it sounds like apparently as I was spending within the USA)..... remember you don’t have to use this, take your money into your control & provide your own routing & account number for your direct deposit, this is a giant rip off !!!!

Terrible customer service

I have been waiting 2 weeks for a secondary card and a replacement card because I lost my card. I het we have to wait 7-10 business days. It has been more then 7-10 business days and I keep getting told to wait, wait, wait. I have no way to access my funds, pay my bills and they want me to pay $35 to get a replacement card expedited to me. WHAT!! i asked to speak to a manager twice and was hung up on both times. I asked to notate my account stating if I do not get my card by the next building day I wanted a card expedited to me free of charge the rep said he would notate the account says “we will se what we can do” I said NO say it will be sent for free since I keep getting told to wait wait wait. He said again he notate the account says “we will se what we can do”. When I asked to speak to a manager I was placed on hold and they hung up on me. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I would give 0 stars if it would let me

If you receive this card don’t bother just give your employer your direct deposit information if you have one already trust me! I wanted to transfer 38 dollars to my bank account and it said they’ll charge 2 dollars (pricey but whatever right?) no after I swiped across my screen to confirm… in small text it says “transfer takes 2-3 business days” I contacted a agent on the support button and now I’m waiting for a manger to call me back, so that wasn’t any help. If you’re gonna take 2-3 days to transfer my money then it should say that from the beginning along with the 2 dollar agreement. Cash app doesn’t charge nearly as much and it actually instantly transfers OR you can wave the fee and wait the 2-3 business days like they should. I didn’t ask to use this dumb card and app but here I am because I didn’t provide my direct deposit info.

worst app ever, considering legal action

this is by far the worst banking experience i’ve ever had. i hate to be a karen, but i’ve lost all respect for anyone who works for this company. i lost my card over three weeks ago and ordered a replacement, and i got no tracking information or updates. when i asked an agent after over 2 weeks of waiting they said it was in transit and should be there by the end of the day but 2 days later i still got nothing. another agent then said it should be here today, but it’s past midnight and i still have nothing. my account has been locked since this began, and i have no way of accessing my money. im just thankful i don’t need this card to pay any bills, because then i would have been absolutely screwed. myWisely made me lose what little faith i had in capitalism left, 0/10 if your boss offers this as a form of payment DO NOT ACCEPT

I got my last paycheck on one of these horrible cards, I immediately started the transfer after my shift, no later than 12pm i had started it. I called three (3x) now and each person I had spoken to had told me the money would be in my REAL bank account BY today at 8pm (8/4), keep in mind I started this transfer on (7/30). The third time I called the lady told me to watch my profanity or she would drop the call??? I had said the situation was “stupid”. WHICH IT IS. I have bills to pay TOMORROW, they GUARANTEED the money would be in TODAY, they better pay my late fees and get my credit score back up if they are gonna be lying to me on when the money would be in my account. Not to mention in myWisely they keep ending my chats before they even start. Terrible customer service and a terrible company. You’d be better off with a check.

Very bad customer service

I received this card recently and called to activate apple wallet. I had to call six times and they keep on asking trick questions to verify that I’m the actual card holder that are completely stupid. Like which road is closest to where you live, and gave 4 options that I’m unfamiliar with and said I have to pick one. I randomly picked one. Then he said sorry we can’t set it up.
Update: I called again within 24 hours to try to activate it again. I was asked another 4 ridiculous questions, like which hospital of the 4 options are closed to the “street name”!!!!! I picked answers randomly and they said congrats it’s activated. It worked once. Then it stopped working. Basically paying with Apple Pay is declined. But using the physical card works! Very very bad service and experience :(

Ok i don’t know if it’s the wisely app or my job not paying me but I’ve looked at the comments i get paid every Friday at my second job but i didn’t get paid last Friday or this Friday i thought it was my job but i guess it’s myWisely looking at these comments it might be myWisely i only got this card because i didn’t have my bank info with me on my first day at orientation so i got this and finally changed my info to my real bank account so if it’s not myWisely it’s my other job

VERY, very bad

Hoping my review doesn’t disappear into the nether. Awful customer service these ppl have. just AWFUL. I now have to wait another week and half for a single check because after speaking with 4 different reps who all told me different information (one of which told me not to order a new card and it would be at my home by Monday, it is going on Wednesday and the card was supposed to be here last Friday. another of which quietly canceled my card and never sent a new one). FINALLY, a rep tells me after I give in and call a FOURTH TIME... very angrily might I add... that my address is incorrect. Low and behold. Not a SINGLE rep told me this information. Now, we wait and see if I ever receive this card. Very inconvenient for people with... I don’t know... lives they need to live? Bills they need to pay?

Can't put cash onto card.

The first time I ever had an issue with Wisely was when I tried to upgrade my card to recieve a transfer as a Christmas gift– it would never let me upgrade due to difficulties with taking a picture of my state ID. I tried it over 10 times and eventually I gave up as it wasn't that important to me and i could receive the money in cash.

However, recently, I have tried at numerous places (places that were told on the Wisely app that can allow for money to be added to the card [without fees apparently, but there was one, and I didn't mind that]) to put physical cash onto my card; all places told me they couldn't do it. However, everyone else I know (with different cards) were able to add cash onto their cards.

I also cannot transfer money from my Wisely card onto my new one due to "connection issues," yet every other bank is fine with transferring money from their cards.

I got this card through my job and I didn't mind the first issue of not being able to upgrade my card, but not being able to transfer physical money onto my card is when I began to have an issue.

So I’ve been using this banking app for about a year. Since I started working healthcare because this is what my employer offered. It honestly hasn’t been the best myWisely is glitchy and only lets you login when it wants to(since I switched to a iPhone it’s been better about letting me get in) but I also opted in to get paid early.... I usually get paid on Friday, it was going smooth and for about three months I got paid on Thursday so the day before. Which is awesome!!! But recently I haven’t been getting paid until Friday again (infact today I still haven’t got my money and it’s Friday and my pay stub has been in the system since Wednesday) honestly gonna go to regular banking if they don’t fix this !!!!

THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORSE BANK EVER

They are the worse bank ever. They have the worst customer service ever. There is no amount of money they can offer me to take this review down. I'd give negative stars if I could. I promise you I would. My Reddit is u/renzi26. Reach out, and I will personally direct you to the direction of an actual Bank with actual competent employees, staff, features, etc. You'll be better off with your money in a shoebox. This is literally the only thing I've ever reviewed in my life. I received better service from a McDonald's milkshake machine than this scam masquerading as a "bank." When apple removes they from myWisely Store, I am going to max my speakers out, and dance at their funeral (p.s. they only reason it's a 1-star is because apple forced me to)

Can’t even set up the app

I’ve been trying to set up my card with myWisely since I first got it. I really just wanted to use it to check my balance anytime without having to call the number and go through that process, however, every time I click get started and type in the card information it tells me that it’s incorrect until lately it starts telling my accounts locked I spoke with customer service representatives 3 times already and they always ask the same questions and say they’ve unlocked the account then once I try again it goes back to saying it can’t find my information. At this point I’m fed up with myWisely and the card company I’ll just bank somewhere else.

Great pay service

I’ve had this card since starting at my new job and it’s been great many close by free atms and I enrolled in the get paid early direct deposit with the upgraded card and the next day my pay check was deposited a day earlier I got paid Thursday morning at 5:30 am I normally got paid on Friday it would hit my account but not until atleast 8:00 am so I’m very pleased no fees no hassle good card

I have never had this many problems before. First, I lose my card and have to request for a new one to be sent. Customer service failed to tell me I could pay a fee to get the new card overnight, so after calling again and complaining about how long it was taking I was able to. After I received my new card that I paid to get overnight, IT DOESN’T EVEN WORK. Everytime I swipe the card, i’m asked to use a chip reader (which the card doesn’t even have..) So, I call customer service TWICE and both times they hang up on me. They say they’ll send me a new card in a week, but won’t even dispute the money I spent to get the broken card overnight.. Just horrible. I feel scammed.

User Experience Bad, Fees Worse

It gets the job done, but myWisely is super clunky and noisy. Every time you open myWisely , intrusive pop-ups take over the screen trying to get you to add something to your account or link a card. If I say no, that means no — not ask me next time, and the next time, and the next time, and the next time.

As far as fees go, Wisely is worse than the big banks. An inactivity fee that kicks in after a month, a $2 transfer fee to my bank for a wait time of 2-3 days. The platform is very out of touch with current financial institutions and lags behind most in every way.

Great, Cheap Feeling

myWisely itself is very good, the UI is nice and the colors make it feel more inviting. It suffers from the same deficits that lots of 3rd party apps suffer from unfortunately in having a layer of cheap feeling user interface design choices.

The aforemost of which is the animations feeling stiff, and sluggishness over slower connections. With some more polish, I feel like myWisely can be excellent. Just needs some solid talent and time put into design, I'll update my review when it comes true.

I’m Left Broke And Can’t See My Money

This is by far the worst card app I have dealt with, It had me put in all of the card information, which I did correctly. And also asked for my full SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! This triggered a major red flag for me because I’ve never had to give out my FULL SSN to get into an app to see my money. After I put all this info in, CORRECTLY! It said there was a problem and I couldn’t log in to my card and to try again. After multiple tries and the fear of my identity getting stolen because of myWisely, I deleted it. I have never had to give out my information like that for an app in my life! I would not be surprised if someone tries to steal my identity because of this. DO NOT DOWNLOAD myWisely! Coworkers have told me myWisely is not even needed to see our pay

I had it before but it logged me out and I forgot my password so I just deleted it since I had the ADP app. Then I got it again and it asked for my SSN so I could change my password. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking since I put it in, they said they will send me and email which I NEVER got and I have tried multiple times. Downloaded myWisely the card is activated and everything the people I called from the number on the back of the card even told me my balance. So I downloaded this trash app thinking it was gonna go smooth. No instant transfer to my actual account

I only have this card through Wisely cause I just started working for a temp agency and that is how they pay us. I got paid last night and decided to transfer my money only to find I have to wait 3 days for my money to transfer. Why is there no instant transfer? I don’t trust wisely. Never heard of it until now. I just want my money. Need to pay my phone bill that’s already past due but can’t because I can’t cancel my transfer and I have to wait 3 days so my phone might get deactivated. Thanks wisely.

Horrible company

Not a real bank. Horrible service, all customer reps are in different countries. They are not willing to help, the customer service gives one the impression that this company is doing everything to survive by abusing there customers with 7-10 businesses waiting days for a replacement card with no overnight option, no actual location to pull out funds either. This company reminds me of an offshore bank that makes its millions by ponzi scheming and lack of communication.

A headache

Worst app EVER!!!! I will be canceling this pay card and getting a bank account ASAP. myWisely never will load for me for the last few days. I’ve tried everything, apparently it’s broke. And before when it did load it never saved my login or Touch ID and had to login in again every time just to check my balance. Now I cannot even check it! Also today every time I make a purchase it goes through but wisely texts me and says it was declined.

Slick app

myWisely is great. Its sleek and i find it intuitive to use. My paycheck hits my card and I don’t have to think about it, since it alerts me in real time. I like the automatic categorization of my spending. Savings feature is pretty cool too, but would want it to be more automatic.

Been using Wisely since the initial launch, it’s easy to use and is very helpful with saving some extra cash with it’s “Savings Envelope” feature. My only suggestion would be for the developers to keep optimizing myWisely so that it runs faster but I’m sure that will come to pass as myWisely furthers it’s Life. Thank you.

I swear every night after 8 if i try to check my account it says “server maintenance, check back later”. And most times i check it during the day it wont even log me in.

I haven’t been able to access my money for over almost 4 weeks now. Trying to live off what little I have in my savings now. Then I call and I have to wait 2-3 business days to even be able to get help. Thats just unprofessional. Don’t you guys realize that people has bills to be payed. Worst Card Ever!!!

ADP upgraded there card I received my first direct deposit i did a few shopping and this morning i got an alert saying i had $0. I checked my most recent transactions and it says its for the remaining balance for a closure check. I have been calling all day and no one has picked up the call i have spent about 5 hours of my dad on hold. Do not use this card service it is by far the worst!!!!!! I honestly feel like suing them. 🤬

It could be better

myWisely is fine it’s just that Face ID doesn’t always work so I have to manually put in my password every time. The card itself isn’t quality it feels cheap. I can’t go to the atm and get money out because it say I have “insufficient funds”. Just needs work

My account got hacked and rep told me they have to block my account ... That was 7 days ago .. 7-10 day waiting period for replacement card .... Called today to see status, was told that they did not send for my new card until 2 days ago .. so now 7 days later that it will be another 7 -10 day waiting period on top of the 7 days ive already waited.... Total of possible 20 days since i could access my money....

The company will lock your card for your "protection" but yet will not have 24/7 services to unlock it. Good luck if you are stranded with only the card and no cell service to move money around.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. It has been my recent experience that their customer service for card users is skeletal and limited at best, and includes callousness and uselessness at its worst. Their customer service protocols seem to be bereft of homogeneity across departments or training because one representative will tell you one thing, while later, another will apologize for that rep getting it wrong when they gave you sureties about when an issue would be resolved. Then, yet another will tell you THEY got it wrong, too! Its like no one is really trained in their policies or made aware of policy changes or something. It's going on 15 days now and I still have no resolution. Then they have the imitigated gall to want to charge me $35 more to overnight a delivery that was (according to their own phone-rep) already 3 days late! And it STILL may take 3-5 MORE business days to arrive. Overnight!?!? 3-5 days?!? What kind of overnight service takes 3-5 business days!?! From my experience, if you HAVE to use this company, as soon as your money drops, remove it and put it somewhere safe in a brick-and-mortar you can actually go to.  If a disputed charge pops up, take ALL of your money off their system before you call to kill your card, or else it may be WEEKS before you can get to your funds. And you better hope the card gets there before your next payday or it may be weeks before you can access any of that money, too. Repeated 7-10 day waits add up. I have since learned I have options, so I will be taking my banking elsewhere ASAP. This company has burned me for the last time. These incompetents locked me out of my card on a business trip a few years ago, even after I followed all of their instructions on their app regarding non-local card use. They wanted the vendors to call and verify for them at every transaction! REALLY !?! What vendor does that! I couldn't pay for my meals or any other necessaries! It was humiliating and degrading, and then their customer service patronizingly treated me like it was MY FAULT, and then got attitudinal when they understood THEY were in error!  I am VERY angry with this company due to the profoundly difficult place they have left me in. I contacted this company LAST MONTH in plenty of time to take care of my business, but all I get are excuses, redirection, conflicting policy narratives, and ultimately NO RESOLUTION as of this writing. I have never once, in all of the calls I placed to this business, felt like any of their reps really cared about helping me. It was more like they were looking for ways NOT to help me, like they were running interference. They'd claim they were transferring me to a supervisor, so I'd go on hold for 30 or so minutes, then I'd get hung up on. Then I have to call back, re-enter my bona fides, regurgitate the situation yet again, and then STILL get nothing but an eventual dial tone. It'd be different if it happened once, but I have made multiple calls virtually all with similar interactions. In the years I have been forced to utilize this company, I have never called and had ANY issue resolved to my satisfaction. EVER. I doubt you will either.

4 random charges from some pro biller x com or something on my card. Not me and I have no clue who or what it is, so I call wisely customer support because they have ZERO way to report a claim or fraudulent purchase on your card, which is already sketchy as hell. I called and was asked by a robot if I would like to be called back by a representative and they would hold my place in line. Considering I have a pretty busy day lined up I decided to take that route. Well I was called back and i haven’t spoken to anyone. It’s been 25 minutes of waiting so far and after reading these reviews I’m betting it’s gonna be another 35 before I even get anyone. What’s the point of opting to be called back if no one is actually calling you back and you still have to wait over 25 minutes???! So pissed my work uses this account for our tips.

So great I get robbed "which honestly it sounds like an inside job" and suffer the loss of ALL my money and then some putting me into a negative balance. I became highly upset and suspect with customer service and wanted to speak with a manager and which ever Law Enforcement agency is involved with the investigation. I was not only denied speaking to either, the customer service reps became unruly and gruff stating I would get a letter explaining what had happened. A letter that has never arrived. My money was never replaced, and no call from any law enforcement official, managerial staff, or any follow up what so ever at all on the matter. This has got to be the worst financial institute on the planet. I also was informed that a new card would be received in 7 to 10 days. This is not true as well. I am still waiting 15 days after. Meanwhile my phone service and rent is past due, having my phone shut off and a extra charge to my rent for late fee because I can not access my money that was supposed to be in a new account. As soon as I get that new account number I am transferring the money to a better financial firm (which is any other on the planet) and never going back to MyWisely. To make matters even worse about them is that even having the account closed, there are 2 to 10 charges a day I still get alerts for. This is why I think it is an inside job or serious lack of customer care. This institution is bullshit and grossly neglectful and really does not value its customers at all. I give it 0 of 5 stars and suggest never using the company and if you do, get out before it is too late.

My card was locked and now I have to wait for a replacement card. These people are thieves. Customer service is a joke. Worst people ever. Card sux too.

MyWisely locked my card without my permission or reason! The representative lied, and said I reported my card stolen. When clearly the whole conversation was recorded I think/hope. I called to get information for the company I was getting a refund for. At the time I was at work when the charge was made. So, naturally I didn't recognize the charge. But, it was a free trial subscription, and I forgot to cancel it. I called the number related to the charge. It was an answer service robot. I couldn't fully understand the email directions being given to get my refund because the voice of the robot kept cutting in and out. Forcing my call to MyWisely. What a bad idea that was. I literally begged the young lady representative to please don't lock my card! Please don't! Mr Baker, it's company policy. That is a lie. I did not request for my card to be locked because of suspected fraudulent activity. It's all in the recording what I was calling for. And I was lied on to have access to lock my card. I make $17hr at 9.45hrs a day. I'm an independent contractor, so I almost get all that. This happened Tuesday morning 4/20/21, while on my way home from working an all nighter. So, after MyWisely so graciously locked my card, I've missed Tues night, Wednesday night, Thur night, Fri night, Saturday night. So far. Still got Monday that I'm going to have to call in and say I can't work. Again. 6 days at $159 a night. That's exactly what I bring home $159. So, 159*6=$954. WoW. Thanks MyWisely. And these people tried their best to convince me that what they did was help me. Again WoW! So I crunched a few numbers for them before I went absolutely ape shit, and asked a simple question. $89v$954. In what way? How did MyWisely help me? What was the action that MyWisely took on my behalf that I benefited from? And I can be thankful for? Please! Anyhoo. I need a lawyer referral. Thanks everyone for your time, ears, and shoulders.
