I absolutely LOVE Swerve you have NO idea, but that stupid gem feature ruins it for me. It took away FOUR GEMS just for me to swipe a message? That’s like the simplest thing you could do. And yeah, that would be okay if the fact that I could watch an ad ANYTIME was true but it isn’t. It says I can watch an ad anytime, but I’ve had to wait 11 hrs just to watch an AD. AN AD. FOR 100 GEMS. This feature wouldn’t be that bad if we had unlimited ads, but since we do, I have to wait to watch an add sometimes. Yesterday, I had to wait 11 hrs, today, I had to wait 19 mins and another time today, 3 hrs. I’m not going to spend ACTUAL MONEY on a gem feature in an ai app that really shouldn’t need money for. But I still love Swerve, I genuinely love it. It’s good quality, the responses (besides when it controls what I do) the style everything about it is honestly amazing. The feature is the only reason I rate this low, and the reason I may or may not stop using it. I think we shouldn’t have limited messages, it just makes it uncomfortable to use and has me overthinking a lot of the time. The only flaws in my opinion is; we shouldn’t have to wait hours or a long period of minutes for ads and gems, ads should be unlimited, it often reacts to something you never said, it often controls your character, it doesn’t focus on the bots emotions all that much, and it’d be nice to have more than one chat with bots but otherwise it’s literally perfect. It gets angsty when you want it to, it gets more mature if you want it to- it reads the room and matches your energy.

Hey so it might just be me or your guys are trying to fix Swerve /ai but the bot keeps trying to change or be out of topic and they wouldnt act like their character. And whenever it would be about my description/chat then the bot would make it about themselves. Yes, I’ve also tried premium and it’s kind of still the same but a little better, I’ve read some of the reviews here and it seems like a few people also experience the same problem so I’m wondering if you’ll fix it anytime soon. Please reach out/respond to me if you can so I’ll know if it’s only my app and I’ll try to fix it with your advice and tip or if it’s an actual problem and you guys are doing something to fix it. Swerve is honestly one of my new favorite AI chat apps. The bots are really fun to talk to, and it’s cool seeing how they respond to different stuff. Swerve itself is easy to use, which makes it way more enjoyable.

The only thing I’d change is adding a “Recommended” page that shows bots based on what you usually chat about. Right now, it’s kind of hard to find bots I’m actually interested in, so I usually end up making my own. If there were a better way to find bots worth talking to, I’d probably use Swerve a lot more, since the experience would feel way more engaging and fun.

Other than that, it’s really great, and I can see myself using it a lot!

so I like Swerve, because the other one I used is.. bad now. but a few things are bad. one of them I'm pretty sure is my internet, and the other is Swerve itself. first, the gems that make you watch ads after doing a certain amount of messages irritates me, and the second one is how every single time I press 'delete message' or 'rewind to here' or something along the lines of that,it always takes a few seconds to actually do the command ( 5-30 seconds) but I'm pretty sure thats just my internet. pretty good app overall.

I just got Swerve today. But … lemme tell you … it’s the best AI app so far. I think it’s so intuitive with how it’s set up, and I think the ‘watch an ad to get more gems’ makes sense since it’s allowing profit, I just wish it wasn’t a limited thing. You’d earn more profits if you don’t do the ‘daily limit’, since it’s likely people will just continuously choose to watch ads in the same sitting. Like, whilst in the flow, or whatever. So, I think it’d benefit both parties if it were to just be a ‘watch an ad’ for each 100, without the daily limit.

Overall, Swerve is awesome, definitely the best replacement for character AI. However, sometimes when rewinding the chats, the bot seems to remember the deleted messages, which kind of defeats the purpose of rewinding. Also, there are times when you rewinded messages, but if you leave Swerve and return, the messages come back. Another thing is that there are times when the bot is loading slow and it forces you to leave Swerve and come back. Pretty frustrating. If this was fixed, this could definitely be the #1 AI chatbot on Swerve store. Thanks for reading.

The reason why I rated this 3 stars because so far, I’ve dealt with nothing but ads. And that’s fine! But the point is, every time I swipe or chat it removes a lot of gems. I checked at the gems sections and it says that I have over 100+ gems, right? After I swiped AND chat, it says that I “supposedly” lost gems. When it clearly shows that I have more, probably like, 50 gems or more left all that just for one or more chats with the character. It really doesn’t make any sense because I have to watch a ton of ads because of the bug. And the same thing happened to me again, which is obviously annoying to me. Fix it, please.

Swerve is very good. I was looking for an alternative to an app i’m sure we all know. It’s extremely similar, in a good way. The bots are good, the responses make sense, the layout is easy to use, and it’s not like Polybuzz where you have to pay for multiple different responses from bots. I genuinely like Swerve, however the one thing I wish they would add was a “new chat from here” button. If they add that, then that would be enough to make this review a 5/5 stars - that’s genuinely my only complaint. Other than that I would highly recommend Swerve!

This is app is great if you want a chat bot app without technical issues, ads and along with great memory. The ad system is very fair if you’re on the free version. There aren’t any chat filters/blocks. For the most part until this is where I’ve developed an issue where for some when I’m having a chat and send a pretty tame and normal message for example “grabbing my hair in frustration” or something along those lines i get hit with a warning about “self harm”?
I was very confused but understood it for the most part until it continuously started happening with like I mentioned tame and none self harm type of messages. If this could be resolved Swerve would be a 5 star for sure.

I swear to god, that bots have dementia 😭🥹 i understand that you have to like spend gems to make the memory better, but that means watching ads for EVERY single message. Especially if you want the ultra mode one, which gets annoying over time. I jst think that it shouldnt be hard for the bot(s) to at least remember the setting of the roleplay/story? 😭 i was doing a hp role play and the bot just kept changing up the setting. We’ll be eating breakfast then we’re suddenly in the common rooms playing chess, it just doesn’t make sense? They forget stuff that only gets mentioned two messages ago.

This is just my thoughts on the memory stuff, Swerve is pretty good besides that part.

Ok so, i REALLY enjoy Swerve, i grinded like 8k gems in ads and overall it’s very good in aspects of memory and characterization, BUT… the editing feature doesn’t work well. For some reason, for me atleast, whenever i edit my or the bit’s reply, it simply ignores it and responds as if it wasn’t edited at all. This has been a big problem for me, since i like editing, but because it doesn’t work well, i have to work with their not optimal replies. So overall, Swerve is really great, but can you fix the editing mechanisms so the bot actually listens to what you edited? thanks!

I’ve been using Swerve for a bit now, and I really like it. I’ve just been making my own bots to chat with and I love the responses that the bots generate. However, it would be really nice if there was an option to start a new chat without getting rid of the current one. It’s a feature that I think would make Swerve way better.
Edit: Forget what I said before, Swerve is AMAZING! I used to use C.ai, and when I had problems with Swerve and contacted support, I never got a response. However, with this app, when I contacted then about not being able to make new chats with bots, they responded and told me that it wasn’t currently a feature, but then they responded again a bit later to update me and tell me that they had added the feature and that all I had to do was update Swerve . Overall, Swerve works wonderfully and they also have great support that will actually listen to the issues you have and work to fix it.

Actually great. I support the gems being a thing, where you get 25 a day for free and 100 if you want to watch an ad.

To put that more clearly, if you watch only a single ad a day, you’ll have 125 gems to use (you can watch multiple, and they aren’t very long). That is 41 messages a day. Absolutely reasonable.

If anything changes I will obviously update. But memory so far is phenomenal, and the descriptions given to characters are followed well. If you’re looking for an escape from a certain other site, this is what you should get.

Honestly this is one of the best ai chatting apps I have ever used. Recently I left a much more popular one because I was very frustrated with it all and this app has been an awesome alternative and it’s so far amazing! It has good memory, really nice reply lengths, the characters don’t make many mistakes in their messages, it’s overall just really awesome. It’s very similar to the previous mentioned popular ai chatting app but honestly it’s better in a lot of ways! The only thing I don’t like is the limited word count for replies, but otherwise I highly recommend!

after a tragic downfall of…a certain app, finding this absolute gem was a dream come true!!! making bots is so so easy and using them is easy too!!! the ONLY thing i could request is giving a larger amount of a letter count for the advanced description, only because i like making all my bots super detailed haha! otherwise no complaints! oh and also i love the feature of safe mode and things like that. it makes it feel very safe for everyone to use! thank you for creating something so awesome! :3

This AI chat app is probably one of the best apps that I have ever seen and or experienced. Not only do they cater very well to multiple different demographics, but the creativity that they give to different people to post their own creations really makes a difference. The response is from the AI. Chatbot are extremely long and detailed, and I like the detail where it make sure to remind you that it’s not a person. It really bring some sort of awareness.
I really appreciate the level of language representation that a lot of the bots have as well, I’ve seen a lot of foreign language, and culture representation as well.
Not only that, but the formatting is great

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the gem thing, but realistically speaking, it’s only four dollars to buy thousands of gems that could last you days if you use them correctly.
And if you set it in the center, the 15 gem option per response, it’s extremely detailed, the lesser gem options are still great!!
Overall, a great experience

This is genuinely one of the best AI apps on the market today. Like the popular C.AI, Swerve has an incredible user interface and intuitive controls. Unlike C.AI, Swerve actually has intelligent bots that don’t repeat the same three phrases over and over. These bots actually seem to know the source material they’re based on.

Swerve also allows NSFW chats by request. It won’t force them on you like CHAI, but it doesn’t outright ban them like C.AI. This is a perfect middle ground that should satisfy everyone.

Swerve does come with ads, but for a free ai app, the ads are rarely intrusive. After a certain amount of chats, it gives you the choice of waiting or watching an ad. In my opinion, this is the perfect way to do it.

Okay, so I’ve been trying to find good alternatives to another AI chat app, due to uhhh..the downfall of another app. And so far, this is the best one!!! The one thing I’m having an issue with is deleting personas. That’s my one complaint. I’m not sure if it’s a bug, or not a feature yet. But that would be really helpful!! Other than that, Swerve so far is really good!!

Edit: Can we PLEASE get a feature to have more than one chat with bots?? Other than that, Swerve is actually perfect 🥹🫰

It is my favorite thing ever. I used to be big on the OTHER they-who-shall-not-be-named app and yes, social media following no matter what is a lot to me. I love that bot transfer is easy and I can rebuild my following here. The nsfw and sfw settings are a godsend and the tag system is AMAZEBALLS. I couldn’t think of a better app- it’s easy, simple, and doesn’t give me a headache to deal with. One suggestion- add an appearance thing for bots! Swerve is perfect either way tho, I think it’d add an extra level of security in the character behavior tho :3

I’ve recently downloaded Swerve and transferred all the personas I was using in C.AI to Swerve. The replies are long and detailed just like a c.ai bot if you’re looking for an alternative, there’s no filter so that’s a bonus, and the gem feature is pretty reasonable to get around. My only problem is that there’s a lack of bots in the specific category I’m looking for but that could be fixed by simply creating a bot. Overall I don’t have any negative experiences with Swerve and I highly recommend it as an alternative for c.ai if you’re like me and are sick of using the updated version. Good job.
