The stories are full of sexism and toxic masculinity, in varying degrees. It’s like the teens from Wattpad moved to Lure. And they clearly don’t have editors. One story I tried, couldn’t decided if it wanted to be first person or second person. The only thing missing is - oh wait, they have werewolf stories *eye roll*. To make it worse, the chapters increase in how much they cost to read: 6 for chapter 2, 9 for chapter 3. It’s a total rip off. I tried to give two different stories a go to see if maybe the first was a fluke but it wasn’t. You can earn up to 6 gems every 4 hours but they don’t pile up waiting for you to bank them. So if you don’t log in for a whole day (say because you’re busy being an adult or a person in school) you don’t have 24 waiting for you. You’ll only be able to collect the 4 available every four hours.

P.S. Don’t bother buying the images in the stories. Not worth it. It’s just stock photos. You’re imagination does the job just fine.

I’m sorry but I know I can’t be the only one that thinks it’s ridiculous that we have to wait 8 hours for literally 6 gems like, huh? And then you can watch an ad for 2 more but what is that helping, it costs 12 gems to read a chapter on story that you’ve been reading already so the 2 gems aren’t helping anything. But the worst thing about Lure is you have to spend a lot of money to just read like 15 chapters like utterly ridiculous. Another ridiculous thing about Lure is when a picture that cost gems pops up I try to swipe by but my finger misses and clicks it spending the only gems I had why in the world isn’t there a question asking if we are sure that we want to spend gems on the picture Lure is so frustrating it infuriates me. Lure has so much potential like why won’t it let us watch ads to earn gems while we are waiting for our timer that would be way smarter considering the fact people would watch the ads

I’ve been using Episodes & Dreame to read before bed. I came across Lure in a Facebook post, and thought I’d try it, as the story in the post caught my attention. It didn’t bother me too much in the beginning, to wait the 4 hours for gems. Then, I found that it doesn’t refresh when you miss that 4 hour mark. Therefore, wait 24 hours, and you only get the gems for 4 hours. Seemed like a pain, but could tolerate. Until last night, when I’d taken the time throughout the afternoon evening to check in/collect gems when I saw it on my notifications. After reading a bit, the baby stirred, so I left Lure and tended to him. Once I came back, it showed 30 gems (which would’ve been correct) but it was frozen. When refreshed, it stated 1 gem. There’s no way in Lure or anywhere I’ve found to contact support. I’ve bought gems a couple of times in my other apps, but I refuse to, in an app where they basically try to force you to buy them, or have no support system in place for glitches or issues. While I’m already into this story that I downloaded Lure for, I’ll keep it and read until I’m done, then Lure will be deleted. It’s too bad, really. Has some interesting stories, and I realize that it provides these writers a way to get their stories out, but Lure is not the way. When you find an app that makes it difficult to contact support when/if it’s needed, it’s best to leave that app alone, and find another. I’ll be checking from now on.

So I enjoy Lure and I understand that you have to make your money somewhere but having to wait 4hrs for diamonds is a bit long. If I have to watch a full ad before I can even start to read an episode I just unlocked then I should get the option to voluntarily watch the ad for a discount on the episode like half the gems it would cost to read it. If I’m paying full price of gems for episode then I should get the option to skip the ad or the ad shouldn’t even be there at all. It should pop up and read pay x amount of gems for next episode or watch ad and pay half. Then once I’ve read a story fully through if I paid gems for some of my choices then I shouldn’t have to pay gems for those same choices again if I read the story again. Sometimes it’s like no matter what I choose too that the story is going to continue to read like I chose the other choice. I like the concept and stories but Lure needs much more improvement before it would be worthy of 5 stars from me. There should also be a bigger variety of purchase options for gems. Most apps offer a .99 cent option as opposed to 1.99 for the smallest amount and for basically $2 I’m only getting 20 gems. Seems like a rip off. 20 gems should cost .99 cents for 1.99 it should be 40-50.

Honestly, Lure has interesting and awesome stories. Enveloping you into the story and piquing you’re interest even more, to continue reading.

But, if a new book comes out, there should be an every week, new released chapter. For example, every Wednesday, 2 to 3 new chapters of the story will be released on every Wednesday. There should honestly be a deadline because there is one story that I know about (don’t know if there are other stories with authors that do the same as the one I’m trying to read) that I’ve been waiting weeks (about to be a month, no kidding) for a new chapter and nothing is released. I don’t want Lure to lose customers because I honestly believe it’s such a good app with great stories, but to be completely upfront, that’s how you lose customers.
Hopefully, you guys can fix this. It would be much appreciated.
Also, the reduction of gems would be nice. There are some people who can’t really afford to buy gems because they don’t have enough money. So, please, reduce the amount of gems needed to be wasted for each chapter and each picture & video. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this and I hope you all take care.

Some of the stories are decent enough but are also copy and pasted from other apps pretty much. There’s no way to contact them regarding issues with gems. To get free gems you’re supposed to “CHECK-IN” every 4hours but say you go to bed and sleep for 8 hours it will still only count 4 hours once you check in and start over. Stories alone cost 12 to read & to interact is 3 so it’s really not doing any good. You will have to sit and just constantly build up gems and not choose anything in order to get through a story. However, even trying to collect free gems is a hassle that doesn’t work half the time. I have so many errors after watching ads saying “CHECK IN FAILED” but the counter still started back over again for another 4 hours with 0 payout. Again there’s no way to contact them regarding this to get help. I have had problems with other apps but at least they do make an effort by having customer service & often try to correct the issue

So Lure is full of amazing writers but it’s to much trouble for so little. Having each chapter be worth 12 gems and it taking 4 hours just to get six is mentally exhausting. Time doesn’t compound your reward either so over night or while your away from Lure your gems don’t stack up you will still only get 6-8gems when you return to check in.
Second issue with Lure is there’s no schedule or timeline for the stories, you can literally invest money into a story only for it to be an incomplete story with no promise of an update in sight. It’s annoying to have to wait upwards to 1-2 weeks to read a portion of story that will take you 5-10 minutes to read.

Try Radish for great stories and it’s from a lot of the same writers and you can get coins for stories free hourly and the writers list when the stories will update/add another chapter like “Monday’s at 9am”. Now Radish doesn’t allow you to choose your storyline but then again Lure doesn’t either, you can literally pick any option, free or gem purchased and it’ll end in the same outcome. I think if Lure was more user friendly and generous it would get a lot more use. Like compounding gem rewards over time, a upload story schedule from writers so we’re not left waiting and wondering, a 1 hour wait time for gems vs 4 hours.

P.s. it’s PETTY to charge gems all over again on stories that are being reread..... we paid already......

I deducted 2 stars for 2 big issues that I have with this game so it seems appropriate. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the storytelling in most of the stories that I have read so far. However, I fail to understand why the diamonds required to read the next chapters increase as we continue with the stories. It’s for sure the biggest turn off within the game. I would have no problem throwing in some funds if it wasn’t for this one feature (knowing that it would be a certain amount of diamonds that I would need to top up every time a story tempts me enough.) I think a lot of people would be more invested in the stories if you guys (devs) would be more considerate of your audiences’ feelings towards this issue. (There goes one star). The second main issue that I have with this game is within the stories. Can you guys PLEASE put in a “confirm” button or something like it when it comes to uncovering the photos within the stories? It’s painful to see that the diamonds I’ve stored up for a while just disappear like that simply because the game decided that I wanted to view a picture that COSTS DIAMONDS when in fact I could care less about the visuals. And there goes the second star. Overall though, it’s definitely a good game with enticing stories to read on your downtime (that is if the 4 hour wait time decides to be over when you do happen to have time on your hands.)

There are certain aspects of the game that I enjoy, such as the different types of stories & the gem system (I didn’t have to pay for any & I have over 600). The stories are also updated often, that really isn’t an issue for me because I’m also a writer & understand life gets in the way sometimes. Now for the bad part about Lure , most of the stories give off Stockholm Syndrome vibes. I’m not gonna call them out but clearly you can see them, it does give the wrong idea to the younger readers, who may think that it’s normal, which it isn’t. I don’t expect you all to switch it over to childlike stories but at least be realistic about some of the things your authors are writing. In a normal world, you would NOT be in love with your kidnapper! To feature a story like that is very questionable & I will not be reading those type of stories. 🤷🏽‍♀️ It would be a perfect 5 star app if you’d be mindful of the stories instead of just publishing anything on your app for a quick buck. 🤦🏽‍♀️

12 gems per chapter is too much considering it would take 8 hours to gain that many without paying. I wish the clock auto reset after 4 hours if you don’t check in. Also, I’ll watch videos to earn gems and they don’t stick! Lure will say I don’t have enough when I do and if I close out of Lure and go back in the gem I’ve earned just disappears. It’s also hard to exit a story sometimes. It won’t allow me to hit any of the top buttons and I have to force Lure closed. The pictures you pay for are obviously not made for the story you’re reading and rather stock photos that are applied accordingly. One time the photo was intended to be someone’s home but was really a picture of the inside of a furniture store with random pieces of furniture everywhere including a bed right next to what would be a living room. I like Lure but I know I’ll get frustrated and delete it eventually.

I love this app, just wish it didn't take so long to get gems or even if you keep it the same amount of time but offer more gems then. Having new chapters not costing some much to unlock...12 gems each chapter is a lot. Would there be anyway to be able to write to the author or for the author to announce when new chapters will be updated, or if there will be a part 2 to the story. I love Devils Appetite! I was so disappointed when it ended and found out there wasn't another book on what happened to Selena and Nicolo. Was hoping there would be another story about their future.

Is there anyway to put on here a way to message the writers or a way for them to make posts. To let us the readers know when new chapters are coming out and if there will be a second story. I just finished "In Love with My Kidnapper" I want to know if there is a second story or that was it...

I found a several good stories on Lure that are very amazing and well written so of course I would love to finish them. I also am aware that this is a business and everyone has to get paid including the authors. However do you really think that in the midst of a pandemic crisis and recession that people have the money to buy gems from at $2-$99?

It takes 12 gems just to open up a new episode which is really over the top... I think that watching a video to earn one gem is a great idea except that feature goes away every couple of hours and doesn’t stick.. What ever happened to a monthly subscription like every other story telling app like this one offers? I’d be willing to commit to 9.99 a month to gain full access to Lure. Hopefully it gets better. I’ll keep Lure installed to see if it gets better and more affordable for me.

Lure is really fun many stories different genres the only thing is i wish you didn’t need to use ur gems to read a chapter or many not to many gems you only get 6 gem every few hours and you have to watch an ad for 2 more gems if your gonna make people use gems to read the stories atleast gives up more than 6 gems every few hours because i also use those gems for choices in the story and it’s annoying when there’s something you want to happen but you cant do it because you don’t have gems i get its a way to get money but it’s still not enough gems to pay 12 gems for the story and for the gem choices to be 3-4 gems and you only get 6 every like 8 hours - but overall good game!

I like Lure, but it could be better
Like I don’t get why we have to wait 4 hours to get 6 gems like maybe 2 or 1 hour but 4 is insane. I’m reading a story right now and each episode costs like 6 gems and then the pictures cost gems and some of the choices cost gems. If you’re gonna make us wait for hours at least give us 11 gems and let us watch a video to double it. Because the story I’m reading right now some of the choices cost gems and then so do the pictures. I want to read the next episode pick the gem choice and see the picture it’s unfair. The makers of Lure could do way better. That’s really the only thing wrong with Lure, the gems! I know soon I am going to get frustrated and delete Lure ! It’s disappointing :(

Does a good job with hooking the readers. There are great LGBTQ stories, too. I love the very cheap prices of the choices, and the free gems every 4 hours, but there are just too many choices where instances where we had to purchase a choice. Also, I’m a bit of a Grammar Nazi. There are a lot of grammar errors, and I’m not talking about when the characters actually text, I’m talking about the stage directions/narration, even the dialogue. Also, there should be a confirmation option to allow us to say “yes” or “no” when spending gems. Sometimes I accidentally click a photo costing my gems. I don’t care much for the photos since they just look like stock photos. I noticed some glitches, too, as well as Lure crashing when browsing through stories.

I love Lure so much! I always use time calculators to calculate my next gem bonus. It’s a great way to always be on time if I don’t see the notification. The first story I read was “Eyes For my Stepbrother” and I can’t get enough of it. I love all of the stories in Lure but the one con is that you need gems to read the next chapter of the story, even the novels! I used around 17 dollars on Lure buying gems to try and complete stories. It was sort of worth it, the gems went down quickly. It is my fault though. I’m always sad when the chapter I’m on ends and I have insufficient gems to buy the next chapter. Therefore, I find a different story to read and spend my gems on. This is a problem because I try to only focus on one specific story to spend gems on then when I’m finished I can focus on another one. Unfortunately, I get too bored and spend them on another story. This stops me from buying the next chapter in the specific story I’m trying to finish because I can’t complete it if I don’t even have enough gems to buy the next chapter since I always spend them on other stories. I still rate this a 5/5 because I’m so invested in the stories. I just wish you didn’t need to spend your hard work to buy a chapter... would recommend if you like reading and plot twists.

As a 29 yo mother I felt too old for this but love sexy stories. I figured why not. Don’t regret at all!! I am totally obsessed with Lure with the stories that come along. I fall asleep reading these! They are sexy, steamy, and just so addicting. I log on every 4 hours when I’m busy for the day to be sure I have the most gems when I have time to read. When I first got Lure and didn’t put this down at all I paid for gems to continue reading and picking my wanted options. I would definitely recommend to anyone especially stay home mommies that want some excitement when their sexy hubby’s are gone! There is some misspelling throughout the stories but nothing that ruins the story so it’s no big deal at all and that’s the only negative thing so def download!!

I’ve downloaded many apps similar to this one, where there are interesting scary/romance stories.

Nearly all of these other apps had you pay for every choice you would make if it was the good one. The free choices would be something stupid, that almost no regular human would do and it was relatively irritating. I like how you all made the choices reasonable, even if they didn’t cost any gems.

Another thing I’m particularly affectionate about in Lure, is that you get a reward every four hours and can double it with an ad (that’s clever marketing as well, not gonna lie). The stories are usually very good, and I admire how much effort the developer put into Lure. 10/10 stars, if I had that option rather than 5/5 stars.

Reading an excellent story. However the fact I’ve paid over $40 dollars to read 15 chapters is ridiculous! Everything cost gems! To view photos, gems. Video? Even more gems. And to read the next chapter!? 12! I’m going through well over 60 gems in one chapter. Ridiculous. I didn’t even know there was a package until I just seen another review. But to pay that amount to read is absurd. I am so invested in this story that I’m forced to finish it. But after this I’ll be uninstalling if these prices don’t drastically change. I would rate this 5 stars or more if I could if it weren’t for the prices. You should really reconsider them. I spent 6 gems to see a pic of a girl laying on her bed doing nothing but staring off into space. I refuse to unlock anymore photos or videos! Please take these concerns into consideration from everyone.

I think that Lure this app had a variety of stories for kids and adults to read. For example this app has stories about Horror👹, comedy😂,romance💘. And much more. this app is an amazing app and I use it all the time. If I were to rate this out if 10 I would give it a 9 or 9.5 because of one thing- when you are reading a story and you getting to a really good part it makes you wait about 20 minutes, but it won’t do that if you subscribe or if you spend 2.99 every week. If someone can help me because I am wondering how you subscribe to Lure, so that way when I am reading my story I don’t have to stop. For instance I am currently reading a horror one and it was really good, but then I had to stop and I have been spending the last 20 minutes trying to figure out how to subscribe. So if someone could please help me that would be great. Sorry this was so long but...😂🤪

Horrible, I thought I would enjoy it, which I do, the stories are pretty good but %30 of them aren’t even finished and there isn’t even that much stories, I’m currently on vacation and bored so I payed $7.99 or however much it is so I could speed up the reading process which was good for a while and I was enjoying it, but as of currently only reading for around 3 hours today I have finished all of the horror, mystery and romance stories only after 3 hours, add more stories and actually finish some of your old ones before you add new ones and I’ll rate 5/5, and on top of that your making me pay $7.99 or how ever much it is a month for a few stories I can read in one day? Stupid don’t bother paying as of now wait a year or so when they have more stories and they get it.

This is an awesome app but I can't stand that you have to be subscribed to not have to wait to read another story. Although I totally get advertisements for Lure I would much rather have a ton of advertisements than wait 40 minutes to continue. I also hate that you don't have a time for when the timer pops up. It usually pops up on my screen in like ten minutes but sometimes it's five. I really think you should change this. I also think that there should be stories where you get to chose what happens. I wouldn't recommend Lure to a friend but if the timer changes I would love this game. Also Lure s age appropriate for people 9+ the only thing is it has scary stories and people calling each other bae or babe.

I love Lure a lot honestly, but why when you get deep into a story they say it’s the end of it? Also why the waiting time to late, actually why do they have a waiting time anyway? The whole point of Lure is supposed to be about reading story’s but if you keep doing these long waits that’s going to make me want to delete Lure . I’m sorry I really don’t like the wait and the story ending shortly, I mean come on it’s gets annoying every time. Not to mention why the the wait itself so long?? Why do we have to wait 25 minutes, I just want to continue with my story, like that. All I’m trying to say is Lure doesn’t need a wait, or short story’s, I want to be entertained, not angry and annoyed.

In the beginning I was all excited to play Lure and then i started to play it and I wanted to see the pictures so I clicked on one and it say you had to pay money at that I was kinda uneasy but then it said to see all of them I thought that indicated that there are still some that I could see but as the story goes on then I clicked on another I was pretty upset that I literally could not see any pictures without paying but I let it loose then when I went to then end it said I had to wait like 25 minutes to hear more?! Or I can pay!
I tried to click on another because I thought that it was just that one story but nope it was for all. Honestly I’m not that that mad but I don’t think you shouldn’t play this unless you want to spend money for just pictures and waiting time :/ still besides that it’s pretty good

So I’ve only had Lure for like 15 minutes but I was really excited because a lot of the reviews said that the pictures was free, you just had to wait a certain amount of time after each episode. I honestly didn’t mind the wait as long as I could see the pictures but with the very first story I begin it has a picture and when I tried to view the picture it said I have to subscribe. Is it free or am I just late to the party and you need a subscription now? If I need a subscription I will be deleting Lure because then nothing makes Lure different from the others like it. Sorry for the harsh review, just being honest.

I love Lure I do but I hate how it makes you wait 24 mins to finish the story and when the 24 mins are up there’s only like 5 to 7 texts left and it ends. Either they should make the time lower to like 2 or 5 mins or put an ad between or just make it so the minutes are like in the middle of the story. Another concern is that you have to buy a subscription to see the photos so if you don’t buy the subscription you miss out on a lot of the plot. You don’t even have full access to all the stories. I gotta say though minus that stuff Lure is pretty good.

I’m broke! I cant pay money and I was SOOOO looking forward to reading the amazing stories 😭😭 But it’s not your fault but maybe try having a section free no subconscious where authors can post stories if they really wanted to. Idk if its just me but you cant choose what happens you just read it. And yea thats whole point of Lure but it also says that you can choose what happens. If i go to the exact same story as in the picture where you can choose and the exact same chat time i can only read it .. yes i have a three day trial to do anything in Lure but still cant. I love the game besides that.

Lure is one of the best story texting apps that I have tried. My only complaint is that I wish that there were more stories to choose from in each category and the wait time wasn’t so long. I wish Lure would let you read a whole story, and then have to wait to read another one or something. Just so the readers didn’t have to stop reading right in the middle.

Okay to be honest when I first started reading I was in love, best app ever u can see the pictures and everything I was so intrigued by the first story I read. UNTIL! Lure close I was like okay w.e maybe it glitched BUT NOOOOOOO IT KEEPS CLOSING !!!!! And so I thought it was probably the story so I went on and picked another story I READ LIKE 6 MESSAGES AND IT CLOSED AGAIN 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 what’s happening !!!????? I really wanna know bc honestly Lure is great but idk why it keeps closing out of no where I hope that if I don’t open it for a few hours it probably would stop closing or some, other than that everything else is great ☺️❤️

I really like Lure but you need a subscription to continue the story and you can’t see the pictures if you don’t have the subscription but Lure itself is a very good app and the horror story’s are amazing and very spooky and perfect for Halloween I just think that the subscriptions shouldn’t matter or not because some people can’t get the subscriptions.

Lure is much better than most chat story apps, but of course there are flaws. If you are not subscribed, you have to wait 20 minuets to see the next episode of any story, And if you are a fast reader like me, then you get like 3 minuets of reading and 20 minuets of waiting.

But otherwise the stories are everything that you would hope for and so far no ads.

I’ve had a few of these types of apps before, and this app is for sure the best. One of my previous games was called Yarn, where every 20 taps you had to wait 45 minutes!!! Now, with this app, I get 25 taps and then a 15 minute wait. It’s so much better!

On the other hand, I still don’t like the fact that you have to wait 15 minutes to continue the story. I feel that it would be better if there was no wait at all, but again, that’s how this app makes their profit.
Also, the horror text stories are hands down 100% the best. Their romance, mystery, and comedy ones aren’t as interesting as I would want them to be. Their horror stories are seriously exhilarating. I wish they had even more of them.

Overall Lure is a must-have if you have patience for 15 min

I am in LOVE with Lure but.... I JUST WANT YOU GUYS TO UPDATE THE STORIES MORE!!! I have read ALL the romance because (I am addicted) but like I said I really want you guys to update the stories more like for example unexpected or what can I say, was like the second story and is STILL ON EPISODE 1! So I give you guys a 9.5 because I am really desperate for more episodes to start reading them all agin SO PLEASE READ THIS AND HELP A GIRL OUT ❤️ps I am in love with your app

How do I upload a story to lure

I'm trying to get gems but it's failing. I try to check in but it's worthless. Can u give me free gems or do I just grab another site. Please help
