More time watching ads than listening to music

I guess I should’ve known when I came across this app through an ad in one of the games I play that they were fibbing when they said “no ads.”
In the interest of full disclosure, the title should be “More time watching ads than listening to music I CHOOSE,” because the app keeps playing random songs even when displaying 1-minute plus ads which you can’t exit if the app decides to play a song you don’t like.
I get it – I want the artists to get their royalty fees, so I don’t mind paying for music or watching ads (after all, I downloaded this app because I saw an ad for it). But what I DON’T like is being forced to watch ads while simultaneously being forced to listen to music I didn’t pick, and this app randomly displays ads in the middle of searching for music I DO want to add to my playlists or while trying to arrange and curate my playlists. That’s annoying af.
