Sonify was way way way better than the official Sonos app… The only problem was that it would periodically stop working… Like once a day… And I would have to delete it and reinstall it… Then it would work again for a while. Now it even stopped doing that… Now it is completely unable to find my system.
Very sad, as I loved Sonify…. Hope they can get it stable.
Sorry for me and others who have reported this on Reddit. But Sonify does not work. Only shows speakers nothing else works.
Many on the Sonos Reddit are raving about it but there a quite a few of us with this problem. Have replied several times as have others and the creator has not responded. Wish it would work it looks and sounds like to would be a good replacement.
Request for the one thing that does work. The speakers. Please make them sort alphabetically. There is no obvious sort order and it’s annoying trying to find the speaker when they are not listed alphabetically. ESP if you have more than 1-2 speakers
The UI is great! And it’s very easy to navigate. One thing I’m dissatisfied is that the steps in volume control are a little bit too much. I think it should be at least configurable in settings. Otherwise it’s great!
Also, whenever I search and scroll down for songs, Sonify crashes which effectively makes the searching functionality useless at the moment.
This is a fantastic app in design and ease of use. The problem is that it only works 50% of the time. I want to love it, but can’t. Yet. I often hit buttons and nothing happens. Blank screens. Entrust Lucas can fix this.
Issue 1: App crashes when searching in Apple Music.
Issue 2: There doesn’t seem to be any way to switch inputs once it switches to TV (i.e., to line in).
Other than that, though, app is solid. Way smoother and quicker than the Sonos app.
I instantly prefer this to the standard Sonos app. Great work, keep the updates coming but keep it simple.

How can Sonos not buy Sonify or hire the developer makes one scratch their head.
I was about to sell my Sonos on Facebook because the official app was so bad, Sonify brought it back to life, Thankyou !
Sonify actually works and is near instant.
There’s around a 2.5 - 3 second delay between clicks.
But this is an expected amount of lag compared to what we have been experiencing with the real Sonos app.

It simply works as expected, including lock screen control. UI is super intuitive too.
An incredible app top to bottom. My only feedback is let us adjust volume button controls. It’d be nice if I could just adjust by 1 or 3 instead of increments of 5. Sonos needs to hire you.
Sonify is just awesome. Probably the most impressed I’ve been with an app on first release. Makes controlling all of my Sonos speakers super snappy. Hoping Sonify continues to see development.
Saw rave early reviews for this on Reddit and decided to give it a try. The rave reviews are true. We all know the sad tale of the current Sonos app and how poor the user experience is. This guy is the developer that Sonos should have in charge of app development.
Honestly, it’s shocking that it is free. You will probably like it so much you will go to his site and make a donation. It’s that much better.

Sonify works so much better than the official Sonos app. I love that I can control the volume of my speakers with just the volume buttons even when the screen is off.
Absolutely incredible how fast Sonify works and such. I always thought it was my network or my speakers that had issues or were slow. I think it’s just the Sonos app. This will be my go to now.
Running Google Wifi6 covering 3500sf with 4 nodes. The OG app had been “usable” but latency has been constant and brutally slow. This is easily 3X faster and seems to have everything the native app offered and some things that look promising. Just pay these folks Sonos.
