This scans and highlights the colors and shades of red. Where I hunt, there are tons of red colored leaves. You’d never track a blood trail with this in those conditions
Killed a deer on 9/5 and used it on blood, it shows but it also catches leaves and other things that aren’t blood. Not worth the download
TrackNTrail is garbage, used it on a blood trail last night and it wouldn’t pick up the blood on a green leaf. If you increase or decrease the sensitivity it just puts red blotches all over the screen and doesn’t identify anything…. Wasted 4 minutes of my time using it.
Downloaded TrackNTrail , I was a little skeptical this would work. It did find blood….that Helen Keller could spot. It’s great at finding dried red berries, red stems of plants, and that’s about it.
If you’ve never blood trailed something it may be helpful, but if you have any experience blood tracking this is no help at all. Save your $.
Really solid app. I’m notorious for losing deer because I can’t follow a blood trail well. TrackNTrail is going to change the game for me this season

The Blood Tracker AP was incredibly easy to use and did exactly what I needed—pinpointed the color of blood without any trouble. While it does highlight other red areas like berries, I already knew what was in the area, and the device still stayed focused on identifying blood. This is a great tool to assist with locating a deer. Thanks for a reliable and effective product!
Awesome app. Really helps the red blood pop out. Love that you can add markers to the map to help track the blood trail. I like that when you are tracking blood that your phone vibrates when you scan over blood, ensuring you notice the trail. Also has useful weather information to help forecast your hunt.
We lost the blood trail and went back with the Track and Trail app and picked it back up easily in palmettos. Took us right to him.

This is awesome! Get everything everyone else has plus the tracker! I’ve been playing with it none stop. This would’ve helped me a few times in recovering my animal!
I used TrackNTrail last season in Kansas while tracking my archery buck. It is a game changer for tracking! Great tool right in your pocket. The vibration mode is awesome and the shot geometry helped me to know how long to wait before tracking
I just downloaded and will update this review when I shoot my first dear with a bow.
But property maps are great, weather is great with windage, blood tracker seems good but not tested on real blood yet. I would like to see a little more navigation and attach pics.
