I was really enjoying this game; from the narrative styled daily tasks and challenge storylines that advanced game play to decorating and renting out properties! However, after reaching a certain star level (unsure which) I stopped unlocking new daily tasks and challenges storylines despite reaching that star level. Additionally map items that should have been unlocked at a specific star level were not despite me reaching and surpassing.

I made some in app purchases so I do not want to delete and reinstall DesignFamilyLife and risk losing all my progress… but my game play has stalled out, I’m now getting repeated daily tasks and haven’t had a challenge storyline in over a week (despite just reaching level 710 which should have unlocked a new map location… it did not).

Really bummed…

I was enjoying this game but for the past three days when I’m trying to play when I push the go button to play it just freezes and someone off the streets just walks in the house and just walk around and it won’t let me do anything and I’m scared to install it because I might lose everything and my progress so I’m trying to figure out what I need to do to fix it. I tried to reset my device, I even looked to see if it needed updated and it don’t so can anyone tell me if they’re having the same issue and what I can do to fix it?

The game has great potential but needs a lot of work. The characters never leave their property so you can’t upgrade your skills unless you choose a story option that increases it. You can’t upgrade your only upgrade meals and things by buying a better version. The interactions with the pet is boring. The prompts aren’t accurate for instance it will be asking my female character the prompt but the answer and reward/penalty go to the guy. You make money ridiculously slow but have to spend big to make upgrades in the house. I’m only on level 4 rn but so far it’s just repetitive, slow and a bit boring.

Love the game but so frustrating when there a task to complete or updated your cooking skill or health and doesn’t tell how to do it. Then give task to complete for work in a email but you can’t unlock the computer until level 5. Stuck on level 4 and can’t up my level because for life me I can’t figured out to up my skill for cooking. I have look for setting that may help you to explain it better but they have it in the game

I see the devs responding to people so I’m hoping that means they’re constantly making updates.
I’ve been playing Sims since the first one, this game is clearly inspired by that but it falls insanely short for multiple reasons.
~The fact the characters just walk around and stand there doing absolutely nothing is insane, they need to be able to interact with the stuff in the house on their own.
~The fact I have a Black couple but can’t choose the baby’s skin tone is ANNOYING
~If they go for a walk or do something like that, there should be a scene of them doing it, or be able to actually join them, but they never leave the house even when they have a task they just walk out of the door and then immediately come back, that’s boring,
~We should have the option to choose our career
~The dog needs waaaaaay more to do, toys, walks, something.
~I chose the dog over the cat yet when I do a story task it’s acting like I have a cat.
~One of the story tasks asked about making a phone call… what phone???
That’s all I can think about, I can only hope the Devs make these changes cause this game could very well be close to the perfect game with these changes.

First off the games pretty fun. My main issues is the game constantly refers to my male character as a female and my female characters as males. And you can’t change it like if you wanna make your female characters a male bc that’s how the game refers too them you can bc the female characters only have FEMALE options and vice versa for the male characters. So essentially you’re stuck with characters the game portrays as the opposite gender. Also dogs are referred to as cats and cats are referred to as dogs. Only reason I gave 2 stars is bc of this one serious issue.

It’s okay but lately when I buy things it doesn’t show I brought it and never pops up which is aggravating because then I have to use more coins to buy another just for it to actually pop up and show which waste the coins I could’ve using for something else. That should definitely be looked into because I’ve lost a lot of coins because of it.

I’ve been playing this game for over a month and I really enjoy playing it. After I did the lastest update I’ve noticed some glitches in the game where my “baby” is on the sidewalk and I have no way of moving it. It’s glitched and is showing multiple babies, I took screenshots to try and send to support but there’s no way to contact support in the game. I also wish getting money in the game was a little easier, after a certain amount of stars for decorating you reach the “get a promotion” but you don’t get to pick a job or get any income from it. I do hope someone from DesignFamilyLife sees this so we can figure out how to fix the glitches I’m experiencing

Fun game but be careful spending $$. I bought the 7 day thing and it was a waste of money you claim it in the morning so by then your energy is recharged and it doesn’t even go toward your energy it was a waste. The energy should expand past 50 if I’m claiming something I spent real money on. Or when I press the x it should not auto claim so
I can claim when ready

Hi it seems like ever since the update there have been multiple issues. My coffee maker & microwave disappear then reappear. It used to ask me different questions, but I’ve been getting the same ones now .. someone at the door, the dad joke, the work thing etc. Nothing is new it just keeps repeating. Also, all of a sudden the energy just went up to do things instead of it normally being 3-8 energy it’s saying 12 which is weird. It seems like multiple people are having these issues so hopefully they get it fixed.

I think this game is very nice, my only concern is just how expensive everything is compared to how little money you get, as well as the inability to make relationships. Like i wish there was a way when you talk yo random bystanders they save as a friend and you can build different relationships and stuff. I do think this game could be better but in the good potential way! I also wish there were more places to go like to work. Some more similarities to the Sims game would benefit this game a lot!

I wish there were seasonal or time limited events. I’ve been playing for 3 days and I’m already up to 606 stars and getting a bit bored. Also make kids exercising count for todays to-do please. I have a glitched baby on my sidewalk and my child needs more objects to interact with please. Jobs would be nice? We need mini games or something. Or let players submit/create content :D I’m hoping for new furniture and clothes already. The kids furniture is cute but most is just decorative so .. bummer. Also saw my characters eating popcorn with utensils. Also please add a portrait for my pet, it’s hard to find it in my big house. My child floats sitting on the sectional too. What is the point of friends? Also you’re asking us to watch way too many ads for one free item. 7 is excessive.. Please add stars to clothes and plants as they still cost money. Also my espresso machine keeps falling through the counter to the floor so they can’t use it. Thanks

I really love this game. It’s a lot of fun. However, I think some changes could be made. I think the energy should be gotten rid of or should full up faster. I go through the energy so fast, and it makes it so I can’t play for very long. All of the “good” choices cost 5-8 energy, and the “bad” ones are much cheaper. The energy only fills up to fifty. I think the energy should go away completely, or fill up faster and have more energy.

There also is a glitch in my game. The recent update to the story flow made it so now I have two babies. However, one of the babies is stuck on the sidewalk outside and I can’t interact with it. Meanwhile, the first baby is still inside.

I love this game, it passes the time it’s fun to build your home(s) and watch things come together.
My few complains:
First- customer service NEVER answers. I deleted my game once because everything froze and the baby in the game was outside on the sidewalk emailed cs never got an answer ended up deleting thinking it would have saved my progress and when I redownloaded the game it made me start completely over. There was no way to get back to my game that I was 3 houses completely done with. Literally had to start all the way over!
Second- the stories are the SAME things over and over again and now they cost double the energy to answer! Also 50 energy isn’t even enough to play for half an hour now because of everything being doubled in energy points now to answer a story. Which mind you is the only way to earn money and progress in the game.
Third- everything in the house is SO expensive, but yet when you sell something you don’t need or want you don’t even get close to the money you spent to buy it so it’s not even worth selling.

I love the game but it’s not updating the stories as I move up. I’m currently in level 439, and it’s not updating to the new stories. It seems stuck at level story 230. I wrote an email to the developers but no answer. I hope this gets fixed. I really love this game.

I just wanted to know why can’t you pick your kids name and gender at first you can pick the name but when the kid gets older and becomes part of the story it does it’s own thing the kid picks up his own story line opposite the family it has a different name that you can’t even change and as far as the gender you don’t get to pick what name you would like or if you want a boy or a girl, but the name is what’s messing me up it has nothing to do with the family I don’t like that theirs no way to change it and also why is the baby that I was able to
Name thrown on the side of the house just kicking that’s creepy

I love this game it’s simple like virtual families yet complex enough like the sims. The task get slightly tedious after a while. I love that we can go to other peoples houses and switch our own house. I wish it were small quest like virtual families where you can clean the house or collect things while waiting.

This game would be great aside from the updates. You can no longer edit or change your characters name. Which is really annoying and dumb because my characters had a “child” and they gave the child a horrible name and not even the same last name as the parents which makes absolutely no sense it doesn’t feel as personable. I would really like for them to fix this, please. It’s bothering me so much.

I reached the goal 185 stars - reaching the “Dream Home” quest but nothing happened. I waited a few days and still no goal unlocked and then I reached 230 stars and that quest didn’t unlock. I got all the rewards both times but no quest. So, I purchased the $25 home, hoping this would allow me to access these quests. Now I have 454 stars and reached so many other requests and received all the rewards. However, no new quests are starting. Please help me!!! I love this game - I just need some help on why the new quest won’t start.

I am currently on level 891 and it will not let me open up the vacation bar or whatever it is and my baby didn’t grow up. I love the game it’s fine but if we can fix those things please
