Not even a hint. Look up the definition of a hint, it's not a power up like they suggest. The writing of the story is poor as simple tasks take many keys to complete. Every time you load the game it suggests you buy something and there is no way to turn this off. They act like they read and respond to the reviews but no changes have been made based on the reviews. The music i monotonous. They have shaking game pieces that will trick you into making a move that is not helpful and there is no way to turn it off. I think they have such a high rating due to fake reviewers.

I really like the game but I have two really big issues with it. The first one is that the game keeps freezing after I pass some of the levels and it causes me to have to close out of FamilyHotel . The upon reopening, I notice it took the life away and didn’t give me any credit for passing the level. The second issue which is now my biggest issue is that I can’t get past step 2 of “Decorating the Library” on chapter 25 because it will not load. I can continue playing and getting more keys which I have a lot of now but I cannot continue the storyline. It says it’s downloading but the bar won’t move past 0%. It’s been like this for several days and FamilyHotel is up to date. I have emailed support and they said they are aware of the issues but have nothing they can do at the moment and there are no new updates. After reading a few reviews I’ve realized this has been going on over a year now.

This gameplay is horrible. Even though the graphics are beautiful & the storyline is good. To deal with how long I have to wait for lives, how often I have to replay a level, seeing how expensive to ‘keep playing’/get items, constantly seeing their ads to buy their stuff, & how the tiles do not turn into bombs after drops is annoying. It takes 30 minutes to get lives, cost 1k for items, 900 coins to ‘keep playing’, & continuously seeing their ads to buy their stuff to make the level ‘easier’ after I lose a certain amount of times is a mood killer. I feel the game developers purposely set up some of these levels to make you lose constantly because they REALLY want you to buy their stuff. Not to mention there isn’t enough events to help you pass these levels that heavily depend on bombs to beat. If you don’t mind replaying a level over a week or so. This is the game for you. If not, I wouldn’t recommend this game because of these issues.

My story is fun, but...the puzzles are too hard and it would costs thousands of dollars to buy stuff you need to finish.
Actually, they are all like that. I’d rather pay $30-$50 to play the game all the way through. As it is, I can only play to levels below 25. After that I just can’t get it done. So I downloaded 100 design games and play them as far as I can go, delete it and move on to the next one. But this one hurts. It is prefect fun, has purple as a design color, and is hard to put down so you can go to bed. SO LISTEN UP DEVELOPERS, MAKE AN OPTION TO BUY THE WHOLE GAME WITH A REASONABLE PRICE SO POOR PEOPLE CAN PLAY TOO! You’d make more money that way. Instead of paying $30-$50 I paid nothing and now I’m moving on. Let me know if you include that option in future games, or maybe this one? (Hope hope)

I have been on level 1503 for over a week. After almost 200 attempts to win, dozens of boosters and paying for five more moves I’m now broke and still on level 1503 and this has become the norm for Family Hotel.
It was my favorite game and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars supporting FamilyHotel but I’m not going to keep putting money into a game that intentionally designs levels that are impossible to pass without paying.
I’ve also tried reaching you several times through the help button but it requires a pin and I have never received one. I don’t want to quit you but I’m not a good loser and paying to win isn’t really winning...

I hate to write a review that’s anything but positive, however. I highly enjoy this game, it does get to a point where you pretty much cannot pass the levels without purchasing boosts or things to help you. They become nearly impossible to pass and you only get 5 lives before you can’t play for a few hours unless you purchase lives. I can’t see myself wanting to continue playing if it’s going to be this hard to pass and move forward. I don’t mind ads and stuff as it is a FREE game.. but it feels like it’s pretty much impossible to complete unless you purchase things.

The game itself is cute. But I don’t understand why you would require so many keys to get a task done. Example: to find a phone there are three parts. And by three parts I don’t mean one key per each part. It’s one key for the first part, two keys for the second, and three for the third. That’s SIX hard earned keys in all! It’s ridiculous. And no matter if the level is a breeze or hard the outcome is you still ONLY get one key. Perhaps that’s something you could look into. While the game is fun and cute I can’t see myself playing it for long because of these ridiculous earning and using of your key system.

This game is enjoyable! Fun puzzles, great storyline so far, but the new furniture download won’t work. I hope others aren’t having the same issue. It’s not my WiFi or device issue because other games download new content just fine. I tried the “help” feature in settings, - just a white screen appears and nothing more. This could be a total user error as I can go to new level puzzles, but I still can’t progress to new story levels until the furniture download happens. Any Suggestions?

Love the game...so t mind buying coins to advance if needed. Promotions are awesome. The only issue that is really getting to me is that the game often (frequently) crashes and returns me to my iPhone Home Screen and I have to access game again! The issue I have with this is that it’s happens mid game and I loose boosters! If this could be fixed and not happen any longer I’ll keep the game on my device. But. If not fixed then I’ll have to delete game 😞

I downloaded this game about a week ago and was able to play through a lot of the main hall storyline along with finishing the first guest room.

However, the next day when I went to play (having closed out of all other apps and having more than enough space on my phone) it refuses to launch. It will show the loading screen stuck at 9% before crashing roughly 20 seconds later. I did manage to get it to load ONCE in the past several days long enough to get through all the pay ads but as soon as I went to load the next level, it crashed.

I’m afraid to uninstall the game and lose all my progress since I don’t think there was an option to connect to Facebook or something.

Honestly wish I could give it 5 stars but the constant crashing over the past several days has brought it down to a 4.

So far I have no horrible qualms with this game, it has really nice game play, furniture, and character designs. The only thing i kind of don’t like is that, although they have boosters you can watch ads to get, sometimes the booster opportunities won’t pop up when you actually need them badly to be a hard level. Other than that, i really like this game, it’s super fun and really easy to play.

I love playing the game but it seems to me that the players that cannot afford the golden ticket level only get the boosters and never any ornaments, outfits, pets or decorations because we can’t afford to pay for the season. Which to me doesn’t seem quite fair. I wished that they could have some of the same opportunities as ticket holders.

I just started playing about 30 minutes ago, so it’s a bit early to give it a thorough review. However, I will say I’m enjoying it so far.
The storyline is engaging and so are the characters (that’s a big deal for me). The match games are easy; as they are at the beginning levels of most games. I really like the interactive play, it’s fun to be able to choose the attitude and direction of the story. I also like the feature that allows you to watch ads for extra choices ( watching ads sure beats spending my hard earned coins).
My first impression is five stars. 🤩

I really enjoy playing Family Hotel. It’s calming and keeps your mind of if you had a stressful day. The graphics are beautiful. My only problem is sometimes the level are so hard to beat and it forces you to buy bombs or what’s needed to get through the level. I understand that it has to be a challenge to a point but not that hard.

I actually find I really love this game so far. The graphics are lovely, the story is interesting, and the gameplay is fun. There are plenty of opportunities for free boosters and lives for watching an ad. Many will complain that the levels are designed to make you need to buy boosters but every game is going to be like that. Of course they want to make money. I’m willing to pay the occasional dollar or two.

I am having one issue though. If I click on the menu for the characters and wardrobe, the resolution of that menu is way off. It stretches beyond my iPad screen to where I cannot see all the options. Since the X option is off my screen at this point I have to force quit FamilyHotel to go back to the game. I hope this bug can be fixed on the next update because I would love to check out those features.

When I need a few minutes of distraction or just to relax, this game fits the bill. It also has a nice storyline that has layers to it, just as a story should. Sometimes hard levels get frustrating, but just keep going back. You’ll master it eventually. Serious “gamers” scoff at match-3 games I’m sure, but as someone who isn’t into gaming, this is enough. Thanks to the developer for creating an interesting match-3 game/story.

This is an awesome game, but I am not happy with this game because I just purchased for $4.99 the whole group of bedroom furniture and a new item for the wardrobe for Connor. All of these things were one purchase for $4.99. The game froze so I had to delete it and redownload it and it did not give me back the items I purchased. I do not do Facebook so how can I get back all the items I purchased. Thank You!

I love it. Definitely one of the better matching/decorating games out there that I’ve found. It’s not too hard nor too easy, which is a good because a challenge is thought provoking. The graphics are well done in detail which I love. Some other games that I’ve played similar to this one sometimes have very childish graphics or decorations that don’t match which I feel ruin a game. I look forward to seasonal decorations and updates. 😃

I have given up on similar games far before this level. Although I’ve spent several hundred $ this far, it can be done for less using replays and watching ads. What I like… Connor’s effects when they are available. Huge help to maximize level play. I like the VIP pass. I don’t care for the exhibition hall or the suitcases with the 25k grand prize. The two times I made it to the end cost me more than that in gold. 10 characters and lots of hotel grounds still not revealed. I don’t know how long this continues.

I’ve just started playing this game and I already love it! The story is very interesting. The characters and game are wonderfully designed! You can learn new facts about the characters, and also change their wardrobe!! So many options for the design aspect. The match-3 games are fun too! Well done on this game!! 👍🏻😃

Edit: I am experiencing terrible lagging.. my game just exited on me mid level.. can you fix this bug?

When will you have an update that makes levels easier to pass? I play games for enjoyment not frustration. The amount of coins given compared to the cost of boosters is so ridiculous as we need boosters to help complete levels. Love the storyline, graphics, and decorating ideas but come on already the gameplay needs to include watching ads for boosters and extra turns with levels. Also, a free booster when a level is completed or 2 in a row completed. Watch some of the other games simile are to this one for ideas. I have deleted and reinstalled this game so many times with hopes that the levels have evened out to pass them only to delete the game again. I don’t plan on trying to take 4 or 5 times to pass a level. Please read your reviews on Facebook. They all agree with me.......Obviously you are not listening and trying to make this game enjoyable since the levels have not become easier to pass with each update...this is my fourth review addressing this issue......
