This game used to be one of my favorite games. Yeah the levels sometimes require you to use power ups to pass especially the harder ones but I collected plenty of these through events so that I could spare a few here and there when I needed them. Suddenly though they update the game and instead of having three decoration choices, we only have one unless we spend money?? 150 coins in this game takes forever to get so that’s a complete ripoff. This completely ruins the creative fun of this game that makes it better than candy crush and similar games. Without any choices, it is pointless and boring. I am so annoyed that this game changed from something fun and simple to another game just looking for people to spend money. I wouldn’t recommend playing this game anymore, I know I definitely won’t. I don’t understand why this update needed it be made, it definitely didn’t improve the game.

All the good reviews are from people just starting out! I loved this game at the beginning. Love the concept! The longer I have played the madder I get! I am at a point where I’m using all the power ups and can’t get past the rock or ticket levels. I’m am stuck. Just spent money to try to get by them and nothing I do matters. Other games like this have mercy on players after so many tries but not this game! I will spend what I just bought and delete this game! At some point we should be able to beat a level and move on but you have made it so we spend more money and go nowhere in this game! I did love it but you have made me hate this game!! Hate spending money for no reason and that’s what you will do when you get to a certain point. Play for a while and when the levels get unbeatable delete it or you will waste your mind and money on it!!!!!!!!?

I love games like this. My only complaint is the new fruit change update, looks crappy, hard getting used to it after already playing awhile!( why that?)Can it not even be better than the last ones? I do like having the choice to watch advertisements for coins especially when some levels are difficult and need boosters! With out having to purchase them ya literally have to get lucky and hope everything falls into place to progress! That was extremely annoying and prompted me to download competitors games. If the game is good enough I’ll eventually spend money. I don’t think I’ll be spending my hard earned money on this game. Did y’all really put a time limit between commercials, what a joke! Nice concept extremely late in the game. What about all the ones who have been playing this the longest, ya couldn’t even spare some boosters for our troubles! Every app developer rewards loyalty, catch up to the millennium already! I’m not happy with most of the changes but I am happy with having more than just the two different level plays (ie: stones tickets) at least we can now train to have different points of play!🤷‍♀️

This is a good game. This can be a awesome game if the levels aren’t so hard to achieve. This is worst than candy crush; I can say that it would be nice if I can get the first two theme parks together before the hard levels of matching items are given; just to earn one ticket or one stone. I feel that if I need two to three tickets for a fence or any other items; I feel you should give either more tickets or more moves as high as 50 moves to one play especially with the mushrooms and sticks plays. Please consider upgrading your game and give more tickets or stone once a win is done; I mean ticket or stone for a hard level is ridiculous, especially when you have to get mushrooms and sticks out the way first. Also, when the instructions go on showing you how to use something new to use in the next game level, it should replace it free. When showing me how to use the rake, she took it and did not replace it so I can use it later. I really do want to see the end of this game, but please make some kind of changes. I am on level 41 for tickets and 17 for stones.
I have notice that I have not gotten a response to my review. I have tried to complete level 17 for stones, but I am unable to because you have to clear sticks and planks just to get 4 mushrooms. So, instead of complaining, I am just letting your game go. I quit. Thank you for your effort, this game is more of a money drainer than just having fun.

What started out as a fun way to pass time turned into a scam to get money. I was given infinite lives, but when you lose a life your infinite lives don’t kick in. You are told you need to pay with coins to save your place/wins. When you run out of coins and have no choice but to start over is when you are told you have infinite lives and will keep going and lose nothing. So I spent money I shouldn’t have had to!!!! Then I’m asked to join a tournament and after a few levels I’m told the trophy is full and for a cost I can empty it ( to receive my prizes) and keep going. Otherwise you can wait a day until it is over to see what you’ve won. I am deleting this game and I know I won’t get a refund of my $15, but hopefully this review will help someone else. It’s too bad cause I really liked this game and the story about rebuilding a zoo because I like animals. 😠

So, I've been playing this several weeks. I'm almost to level 200 in both tickets and stones. As many others have complained, there are some levels that I have taken 25 to 30 tries to get through it. That's just ridiculous! I really don't think I should have to pay cash money to be able to get through a level. Earning points takes forever when it takes you two or three days to get through one level. But, my biggest complaint is not getting the reward after watching the ad. About half the time I click on the ad, I watch the whole ad, and then my screen goes white!!! It stays white for anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour and a half. In that time, I don't get to play the game, I don't get the points or the reward for watching the ad, and I have to wait another hour to watch another ad. This has happened to me at least 40-50 times. That means I lost out on around 1000's of points for bonuses. Kind of stinks!

I’ve played many match games, and this is one by far has the most flaws. To begin, I won daily prizes of an additional life but never received them after processing. A few times I clicked on the watch an ad icon for an additional life; no matter how many times I clicked on it the video never played.
A key to any match game are chain reactions after your move. In other words pieces randomly fall into place creating matches on their own. This game is the most stingy. It’s either feast or famine with that aspect of the game.
This game also has one heck of a scam going. When you complete levels you win coins which fill a panda bank. You rightfully should have access to those coins at some point; you do, but in order to “break” the panda jar of coins you have to pay real money. Those are earned coins which the player should have access to by simply playing the game. The player does not unless he or she wants to pay out of pocket for it.

I love these types of games however this new concept of money grabbing games and making them to where you have to spend money just to pass certain levels is ridiculous. The ratio is way off in this game some levels you only get 15 coins for most levels are only 20 - 30 coins and it takes 300 coins for only 5 extra moves so you have to beat at least 10 levels to get 300 coins and that is if you get 30 coins per puzzle passed which you don't. The ratio needs to to be upped in this game big time. Also there isn't a chance for an extra bonus hardly maybe every once in a great while it makes the game very very very very slow moving and starts becoming boring. I have already deleted gardenscapes & homescapes for these reasons because they are the same way money grabbers and could care less if the players stay or not this one is about to go has well. The concept is great just need bigger better rewards and more chances at and for extras to help you out in the games. Coin ratio needs upped in a big way. Like I said great concept just needs tweaked. I can't stand staying in one spot for weeks on game nor getting minimum rewards for making it through a puzzle and then it taking 2, 3, 7 stones or tickets to make any zoo progress at all and only getting 1 stone or ticket per game really! Has players we deserve better than that if you want us to keep playing this game make a change please ! ASAP

Please explain to me how I am supposed to beat a level when you don’t give me nearly enough moves! I have spent so much time and actual money on this dang game that I’m getting really sick of it because every time I turn around I need more moves because you don’t give nearly enough for the level to begin with! Not to mention some of the levels are so hard that it takes days upon days to finish! I adore this game but I’m getting really sick of not having enough moves for 90% of the levels. I’m currently on level 215 for stones and 252 for tickets. Another thing that needs to change is the amount of tickets you get per level. On the super easy levels I can see getting one ticket or stone but on the really hard ones it would be nice if you got at least 2 or 3 tickets or stones. And the payout for coins is obnoxious. Only 22 coins on average per level...

I think this game is challenging and fun; however, I may delete it because its producers don’t seem invested.

I’ve run out of levels for exhibits and tasks, lvl 551 and lvl 576 respectively. They’ve added a loop of levels to play repeatedly, called “the ladder.” They are the same levels every 10 levels or so. I’m on rung 247 and bored. I assumed it was to keep users logging in until new levels are released, but it’s been weeks without them.

They’ve also introduced a scoreboard for daily, weekly, and monthly challenges with rewards. It’d be fun to compete if I could play new levels, build new exhibits, and add more decorations to the zoo.

Two other things that bother me and also make it seem like the producers aren’t invested: glitches and hints at content still unavailable. FamilyZoo frequently crashes while completing levels to train animals to do tricks (one of the few side missions in the game) and occasionally the game doesn’t recognize there are no more available moves, leaving options to quit the game and start over or just close FamilyZoo . There’s also a business section where you may invest in a food cart that generates coins daily. The food cart can only be upgraded to level 2 (20 coins in 24 hours).

It’s a fun game, but it seems abandoned on the other end.

My first suggestion to fix this game is to add a villain. A story isn't a good story without an antagonist in it. Second, make more people come visit the zoo. My zoo is empty, and its sad. What's the point of having a zoo if no one comes to see it? Thirdly, my app is still crashing after leaving it 5-6 times and makes me delete it and start from my last download, which is ANNOYING! Lastly, after the fur seal quests are made and released, I think the next area should be a jungle area, with jaguars, gorillas, and tropical birds or elephants to fit in with the other herbivores. Either that, or a swamp area, with crocodiles, alligators, and caimans or some swamp bird species like flamingos.
Afterward: It's glitching again! This time it only takes 3 or 4 refreshes to crash. Fix immediately please or I will be stuck with finishing the penguin enclosure forever.

The levels vary from super easy to very hard, leaning towards hard on most of them. Some levels I’ve spent 8+ lives on trying to beat, then only beating it on the last move. When you run out of lives, you have to wait 30 minutes, give or take, just for a single life.
The coin amount you get at the end of the level is ridiculous, some you get 30, but most I’ve only gotten between 12-20 coins per level.
I completed the tiger enclosure completely, which is a great feeling, but I spent so much time attempting to do only that. Now that I’ve moved onto lions, I can’t get past the second fence you have to build because the levels just keep getting harder and take so many lives to do.
I wish there were other ways to get lives rather than have your fb friends play the game. I have 400+ fb friends, and only a single person plays.
Why? Because most people will never want to play a game that your gonna spend days on trying to complete one level, which doesn’t even complete the task you need to do, since most task take SEVERAL tickets.

I wish you guys could make this game easier, because at the difficultly that it is, it just seems like a game where the developers want money. I get that every level is beatable, but it shouldn’t take as long as it does to complete a single level.

Well that was a fun game while it lasted. I’m at that point in the game where it is no longer fun to play. I’ve been stuck on ticket level 58 and rock level 53 for days now. I get the system is random, but when you’ve been trying to pass the levels for nearly a week and still can’t because of the randomized placement of stuff, you get bored and it becomes a chore to play, not fun. It’s almost forcing you to put money in to move to the next level, but that’s something I won’t do anymore.

I understand that all levels are beatable, the issue is that you can spend days or weeks on levels because they are randomized without anyway to skip them after so many attempts. You should add a skip level after the tenth plus time someone’s spent on a level, or perhaps after a certain amount of time spent in the level. Otherwise you get stuck for days like I have been and you get people wanting to walk away from the game.

Before I get into it, I should say it’s a really addicting game. I got bored with candy crush, matchington mansion and Gardenscapes. However, this game keeps my attention. The pros are: it’s adorable art style, you can customize practically everything, the levels are kind of easy.
Unfortunately there are a lot of cons. The cons are: in a LOT of the levels there are moving belts that move the pieces around. Like, you couldn’t come up with anything else, so you just put those moving belts in every level? It’s very repetitive and kind of annoying after a while 😒. Also, there are levels that are really hard and if you don’t have infinite lives or money to spend on rockets or oranges to help, you are stuck there waiting until you can play again. The lives take forever to regenerate, which is also kind of annoying. The missions are really annoying at times, as you need to add a LOT of things into the animal enclosures, which means more tickets and craft supplies. It’s redundant and unnecessary imo. It was about 10+ missions for ONE animal enclosure. That’s absolutely absurd!!! I get that they want to make the game longer, but it gets to a point where you just want to put the game down because it’s just a bunch of unnecessary grinding. 😡😡😡

I absolutely love this game, however the amount of “tickets or building material” needed to complete a task is outrageously high. Certain levels are really hard and can take up to more lives than you are given plus a few days or weeks just to finally pass a level. It’s things like this that make me not want to keep the game. Frustration is high for this game when all you need are a little bit more moves yet you don’t have any and have to start over, and the cost for things is just stupid. To get an animal it takes 9 “building material” points? Get out of here it should be like 3 or something. Prices should be changed, reduced and the #of moves per certain level should be upped or given the chance to regain more than just one life when you lose all of them on one level.

I like how combined within all the levels I’m at over 1,000 and have yet to spend actual money in the game. It’s nice to be able to decorate the zoo, some decorations cost more than others but it’s not a ridiculous amount for a small or unnoticeable reward, almost every task you can see. The complaint I have is sometimes the levels are just impossible to beat unless you have that stroke of luck and get a “bomb” to use as there is no algorithm you can follow. I love how there is almost always an extra award competition. Everyday since I play pretty often in my spare time I am rewarded with a daily, weekly or monthly prize and I think the rewards are pretty generous. Overall I’d like to see that algorithm problem fixed but I love the game and will keep playing it until there’s nothing left to do!

Fun game, I LOVE that there are so many ways to get bombs and it makes it exciting to blow the fruits away. I just feel that the game might be gunning for us to buy coins so early in the game. The levels get complicated very early like in level 20. I don’t like buying coins unless I feel like I’m moving along, as opposed to being stuck for days and I’ve barely started the game. I lose interest. Also, I do enjoy music on my games it makes it feel alive, but the music on this one is off putting🙁. And it never switches songs it’s the same bad one. Please change it, maybe? I can and did switch it off and listen to my own, lol 😵😝. I think that once some of the glitches that I notice are fixed, this game will soar. It’s got a lot of potential in its game class. Great job.

This game is really a very enjoyable version of the match 3 style game, and I find the two pronged system of enclosures and a to do list to be different and fun, plus there’s cute animals. The (relatively) new features like the competitions, prizes every 10 levels, and the never ending levels are great additions. However, I do wish that when new levels came out, they would make enough to finish the day/enclosure that you’re on. I’m fully maxed out on levels, and I have a bunch of extra enclosure materials and I have no enclosures to update. Meanwhile, I have several to do list activities queued up but I have no way to earn tickets to complete them. The game’s levels used to max out so that you could finish what you were doing, but the last few updates have been like this.

I have been enjoying this game for a while now and played it earlier today. I just tried to play now and suddenly it is asking if I want to keep my current game or use saved progress. It says it is syncing the game, but after I choose to keep my current game and then confirm my choice, I just keep getting the same pop up over and over no matter how many times I say I want to keep my current game. Also the saved game info it shows would set me back to level 1 and since I am on level 700 something, I definitely want to keep my current game! Why is it doing this? I just want to play my game!

I feel like this match-3 is a great balance. It's challenging at times but not so much that you feel pressured into purchasing boosters from the store. The story is cute, I love that you can make the animals perform tricks and interact with the things you build for them. I was also pleasantly surprised by how many different parts you could work on, the tabs for Business/Shop/Training etc. I think it's exactly worth the five star rating for simple, fun match-3 swiping but if I were to point out one thing I personally dislike it would be the currency (coins) system. I think there should be more ways of earning coins on the side, apart from watching ads from the Bulletin Board. Like maybe tapping the animals you've unlocked to collect a daily amount? Just something consistent so it would be a little easier to save up for upgrades. 4000 coins is pretty steep when the top boosters are 700 coins a pop. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
