4.5 out of 5
Extremely unsatisfied

I downloaded this game to earn money while I walk since I do quite a bit of walking anyway; may as well get paid for it. Right? Wrong. The ads promise real money for walking and playing games. I did win money alright, but could not cash out until I reached a minimum of $30.
Ok, so I reached the $30 threshold thinking I could cash out with that amount. Wrong again. Now that I’ve surpassed the $30 threshold, I still cannot cash out because I now am required to earn 50 fragments before I can cash out. Easy enough right? Wrong again because the mini game where I’m supposed to be able to earn these fragments refuses to give me any fragments.
So my advice to anyone thinking about downloading PaceFit, do not buy into the so called promises and expect to get any money out of it. I would give zero stars if I could. Waste of my time.

This App is a SCAM!

Do not waste your time with PaceFit. It’s a total bait and switch. I accumulated $30 within 4-5 days and I was really excited to find an app that actually pays out more than pennies a day. First of all there’s a $30 limit before you can withdraw which is fine. Once I got the $30 and tried to withdraw it said I needed 50 fragments or puzzle pieces which you get from cracking the egg. At first you get stuff in the egg like every time but once you get closer to 50 it slows way down. I need 1 more fragment and I’ve hit the egg with the 3 free you get but then you can watch two ads to get one hit. It’s been 2 weeks of watching ads. Wasted countless hours. They aren’t ever planning on letting me cash out. Don’t waste your time on PaceFit. Your time is valuable and not worth this garbage scam app. All the 5 star reviews have to either be bots or paid reviews because there is no way. Just look on Reddit or somewhere besides the Apple Store to find true experiences and they all say the same thing. SHAME ON YOU this app!!!

Scam!!! It’s Just Watching Hundreds of Ads!!! NO Payout EVER!!!

I’ve been using PaceFit for several months. Daily. Watching hundreds maybe thousands of ads too. I got up to 49 egg cracks and kept logging in daily (for the money cashout) for 14 days straight and for 21 days straight and for 28 days straight. App requires 50 egg cracks and consistent daily chkins. You NEVER make it to 50 egg cracks despite you watching tons of ads to “earn” more egg cracks. Read all the other reviews here, most get to 49 egg cracks then spend months watching hundreds of ads with NO cash payouts AT ALL. Total scam!!! I have $95-96 now and cannot withdraw it as cash because even though Im logging in daily and watching all the ads, I cannot get to 50 eggs to cash out. Ever. Everybody else experiencing the same here. Delete it. DONT ever download it. Total SCAM. Should be deleted altogether from PaceFit store. All the “good” reviews here are all FAKE too.

INCOMING CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

PaceFit is a textbook example of deceptive practices and legal violations. First, they’re in direct violation of Apple’s App Store guidelines on misleading or fraudulent behavior by failing to deliver promised rewards. Apple’s policies prohibit apps from making false promises, and that’s exactly what’s happening here.

Second, they’re breaking standard consumer protection laws that prohibit unfair trade practices and false advertising. There’s no stated policy limiting when users can cash out, which means they’re breaching their implied contract by not providing the fragments needed. This is not just bad business; it’s a legally suable offense.

On top of that, PaceFit ’s rating is falsely advertised as 4.1 stars, while numerous users are leaving low reviews. Misrepresenting PaceFit ’s rating is yet another form of false advertising and a violation of trust.

Whoever created PaceFit clearly didn’t think about the legal consequences, and they’re going to owe a lot of people a lot of money. I encourage everyone affected to file complaints and consider legal action. This is a situation where the developers are not just ignoring their obligations; they’re breaking laws related to digital media, false advertising, and consumer protection. Let’s hold them accountable. The members that rated higher and lied about their experience will be personally investigated

Reported for being a blatant scam

ATTENTION: PaceFit will NOT let you cash out. Do NOT waste your time on PaceFit. The developers don’t care about you they actually probably find it hilarious that they are scamming so many innocent hard working people. Well, jokes on you this app because I have a massive social media following and I’m about to expose you for wasting peoples valuable time and energy. It’s probably best you pay everyone and remove the “fragments” feature. I hope you feel good about yourself for genuinely scamming so many people and wasting time out of our lives. You know that’s what you’re doing right? You’re wasting peoples lives. Time. Time that we can not get back. Unfortunately for you this app I’ve had enough of fintech bullies. Get ready because this month there will be a video released on the current state of your app and a rough estimate on the total number of people you’ve scammed.

SCAM SMH!!!

This is honestly the first review I’ve ever left for an app, that’s how frustrated I’ve been…do not WASTE your time downloading PaceFit if you think it’s gonna be an app that gives u pocket change just for walking it will actually be for hours of endless adds u have to watch to get hammers to crack an egg only to get nothing in return….they say u need 30$ before u can withdrawal I said “ok fine” then i walked enough and watched enough to finally withdrawal then it was I need 50 fragments (u only get them by watching adds to get hammers to crack an egg that rewards u a fragment) and I was like “well that’s annoying but ok I have the time whatever” then I go from 18 to 32 of 50 fragments within a day of watching more adds…I haven’t gotten a fragment in my last 25 attempts to crack an egg I thought I was bugging after 10 attempts I took a days break then another day of no fragments and then today after another 5 attempts with no fragments I deleted PaceFit waste of time

LIES LIES LIES

I downloaded PaceFit after seeing an advertisement claiming you could earn $10 for every 1,000 steps. That turned out to be completely misleading. Once inside PaceFit , the payout system was very different from what was advertised.

At first, it showed that you could redeem $30 once you reached 30,000 points, and there was no mention that anything else would be required. While using PaceFit , I noticed we were collecting “fragments,” but it never explained what they were for. Only when I tried to cash out did PaceFit suddenly reveal that you also need 50 fragments before you can withdraw the $30.

Getting those fragments requires cracking eggs, and each egg requires watching two advertisements. Early on, fragments appeared regularly, so it seemed achievable. However, once I got close to the requirement (around the 40+ fragment range), the eggs suddenly started coming up empty almost every time. I can watch many ads in a row and receive nothing.

This creates the feeling that the closer you get to the payout, the harder—or nearly impossible—it becomes to get the remaining fragments. It feels like the system is designed to keep users watching ads without ever actually reaching the withdrawal requirement.

I don’t mind watching ads if an app is honest about how rewards work, but hiding requirements until the moment of cash-out and then drastically reducing the drop rate of fragments feels very misleading. I wanted to share my experience so others can be aware before spending a lot of time on PaceFit expecting a payout.

This app is a scam.

I downloaded PaceFit, like most people, who want to get in shape and have a little extra motivation. Upon using PaceFit though, I am seeing more and more evidence of it being a scam. I have tried several times to submit questions and feedback, but every time I type a message out, it won’t let me enter my email address and hit submit. I don’t think you should waste your time on PaceFit, because the people in charge are awful. You have to watch a ton of ads, which normally I don’t mind, but there is no payoff. In order for you to cash out, you have to have “shards”, but I’ve been stuck on 49 (you need 50) for months and it won’t let me cash out unless I get these. PaceFit is a scam and the people running it don’t have any intention of actually letting people use PaceFit for the reason you do. Do yourself a favor, not only don’t download PaceFit, but if you have, and your experience is like mine, do yourself best to flood their inbox to tell them how truly awful they are.

Scam

You can cash out a daily .01 to 2.00 on a mini game. I’ve done this for about a month and cashed out over $20 on that part. But accumulating bids from walking and other activities and making those $30-$100 cash outs doesn’t seem to be possible. When you try, it says you need 50 fragments, but it becomes increasingly unlikely you’ll ever hit 50 the closer you get to it. Definitely seems rigged and scammy.

Update: Lowering my rating due to how aggressively PaceFit runs ads and tracking in the background. After monitoring network activity, PaceFit connects to dozens of ad and tracking services within just a minute or two of opening it. (I took over 25 screen shots just to capture the entire list). It’s not just basic ads—it’s multiple ad networks, data trackers, and third-party services all firing at once.

This level of activity noticeably impacts performance. My phone gets hot, PaceFit becomes laggy, and battery drain increases significantly while it’s open. For a simple step-tracking app, this is excessive.

It feels less like a fitness app and more like an ad delivery platform. The small payouts don’t justify the amount of background activity and device strain. Even if it is possible to EVER reach 50 pieces (I’m currently at 49) and get the big cash out for your actual steps, the amount of lag and crashing from all the background activity makes using PaceFit impossible. I used to be able to successfully leave feedback in PaceFit , but now that doesn’t work either.

Deleting PaceFit and Apple should too!

Disappointed

I was really excited about PaceFit, but I have been so frustrated and disappointed that I am leaving a review and I rarely do that. After racking up almost $45 over the course of 4-5 days, I was thrilled about cashing out. I have watched A TON of ads to gain points and the ads are SOOOOOOO LONG. It wouldn't be quite as insufferable with shorter ads, but some drag on for over 100 seconds and when you have to watch 75 of them to even get anywhere, that becomes very annoying. When I went to cash out- I found that not only do you have to reach a threshold, but you also have to get a separate threshold met they call "fragments." These are pieces of an egg that you break apart for extra prizes... well that wouldn't be too terrible, but you need to watch 2 ads per hammer, then, you MAY NOT EVEN GET A FRAGMENT! No one even cares about the little prizes the egg can give you, we just want that fragment- but even if you crack the egg, if it is empty - you don't even get the fragment! Which is ludicrous because I did still crack the egg, so the fragment should still count even if you don't get a prize. I admit, I'll keep watching until I hit the fragments - WHICH ARE 50! So, that's a minimum of 100 ads at an average of a minute and a half time each, then you are 100% guaranteed to not receive a prize it about 1/3 of those. So MORE ads. it's absolutely absurd and I am fed up. I would never have left this review if I didn't have to deal with the nonsense egg fragments that somehow may not even appear in spite of cracking the egg. I am likely to delete PaceFit as soon as I hit that threshold and find another app that does something similar without all the hoops to jump through!!!!! I've already warned the two people I initially told about PaceFit , because I am not recommending anything to someone I care about that does this BS.

All the work, no reward

Have had PaceFit for a little under 1 month. You go through all the work…counting/tracking steps, watching videos, allowing them to track etc…yet you have to earn fragments, via some random egg cracking mode….which rarely gives you ‘fragments’!? For instance if you want a Visa card you have earn 20 fragments before you ever get to cash it out to that…you might get 3 or 4 fairly easy but then you are established…good luck finding anymore! 99% of the time your egg is empty. You have to watch 2 long ads in order to crack one open…surprise!! Empty egg! So YOU are doing all the work, bring them ad traffic revenue, by watching ads from their advertisers…but then they can’t reward you for it!!? Or make it extremely difficult for you! Don’t get me wrong, you earn a lot of ‘bud’ which is supposed to translate to $$ but no way to cash it out….borderline scam, until I’m proven wrong! But good luck earning those FrAgMeNtS……update: DEFINITELY a scammy scummy app! ‘Earn 20 fragments’, ‘log in 14 consecutive days’ and you can cash out, right?? NOPE!! Suddenly I now have to earn 50 fragments and log on 22 consecutive days.
They are taking all the reward from advertisers! I think the only battle is to boycott all the advertisers!
DON’T BOTHER WITH PaceFit!!

Reviews by Binjey

I got PaceFit because it was the number one recommended app out of every app that was recommended to me. I started out loving it. However, after a few days when I reached the first withdraw and tried to withdraw, I found out that it makes you have to get a certain amount of puzzle pieces in order to withdraw… this is extremely upsetting because well I walk a lot for work so much that I ended up making $30 in a few days and now I’m almost at $50 and still not able to withdraw the 30. So with that being said no matter how much anybody walks, it does not matter. You’re required to be unhealthy and required to be on your phone to watch the ads which don’t give you a puzzle pieces so you’ll sit there and waste a couple hours every day trying to get puzzle pieces.. .

Tell anyone out there looking to walk and get paid it seems like a good app, but I wouldn’t recommend installing unless they update some things especially if you’re big on walking like myself. I hit 10,000 steps in a couple hours walking around for my job . I will give it till tomorrow to try and get the remaining nine puzzle pieces that I’ve been trying to collect for two days and I’ve been spending. Over an hour a day just watching videos and I keep being given a stupid frown face and no puzzle pieces so after tomorrow. Installing PaceFit , I’m looking elsewhere. 🤌🏼

Why do I receive one fragment every 50 to hundred videos?

The Fragment Trap: Users report that while collecting points (or "bud") to reach the $30-$65 cash-out threshold is easy, obtaining the necessary "fragments" (often 50) required to actually withdraw money is extremely difficult.
Empty Egg Mechanics: To get fragments, users must "crack an egg" by watching ads. Reviews indicate that once users get close to the required amount (e.g., at 47-49 out of 50), PaceFit provides empty eggs, requiring users to watch dozens or hundreds of ads with no reward.
Goal Post Shifting: Users have reported that the requirements change, stating that once they reached the initial goal, PaceFit increased the needed number of fragments or days to log in.
Extensive Ad Exposure: PaceFit requires watching multiple, long advertisements just for a chance to get a fragment, which users feel is a misuse of their time, with one user noting it took two weeks of watching ads to get one fragment.

For NOW I’m sticking w/ 3 stars

For now, I’m sticking with a three star rating. I’ve just recently started using PaceFit and before I give a complete in total honest history review I want to make sure that I can cash out that I can even get to the cash out limit how long it takes me to get to a cash out limit and all the questions most people normally wanna know before giving a fantastic review. Today is February 13, 2026 as I said I’ve been using PaceFit for just a couple days so maybe two or three days I will come back soon to update more and give a complete review or it might end up broke down in sections and you get updates ever so often but for now I will give it a three star because it keeps up with my steps pretty decently. Sometimes an ad will go black as a very end of it that causes you to have to close PaceFit and restart it and you do not get the points for that ad. That’s one thing I found that I do not like I hope they will fix that. That is all I will say for now and I will update you guys as soon as I can to give you more information about PaceFit and the payout and the truth.

so far so good (THIS IS A 50/50 SCAM)

Update: i got to $30 in my balance went to hit the cash out button and what do we have here? Need 38 fragments to even cash out, not even going to bother trying to get them. Will be keeping PaceFit though for daily instant rewards but that’s about it. Not going to waste my time collecting more buds or watching anymore videos collecting those buds. What a waste of time. I don’t want prizes. i want cash. THOUGHT PaceFit WAS GREAT UP UNTIL THAT POINT. such a shame really.

I go through every single ‘money making’ app and leave an honest review. so far i’m giving it two stars. i will be updating it periodically as i get closer to cashing out. Now what i have noticed is that a lot of users have been complaining about being so close and something about fragments they have to collect in order to cash out their money. I haven’t seen anything like that YET. I hope I do not see anything like that as i get closer to cashing out. If PaceFit seems to be a scam I will not hesitate to report it to Apple Inc myself. Now I’ve read the privacy notice and etc. no typos nothing crazy in the air apart from that. i don’t mind watching the ads but what I’ve noticed is that the buds seem to yield about 10-15 cents per 200 buds. watching a one min ad for that much money per say would mean that you guys would have to be making about $20 per video per person watching. it’s just not realistic to me but if you guys ARE making that much money than yes i can see the 10-15 cents per one min video adding up per say. but if you’re not and you’re only getting about 2-3 cents per video and you’re giving your users 10-15 cents per video you’re losing money very quickly in that area. I do like PaceFit so far though it’s different than the other walking apps I’ve tested. but what is also another pointer outter is we’re not really getting paid for our steps (even though we convert our steps into buds) it’s not as much as 200 buds per video and i’ve walked ALOT over 10,000 steps to be exact and have never came close to getting 200 buds just from my steps. which is another thing i noticed just from testing it out. so i’m going to leave my review at 2 stars until i go and try to cash out. if it’s a success i will be more than happy to give you guys five stars and update my review.

Listen to other reviewers

At first I didn’t read the comments about PaceFit because I download PaceFit thru other apps from ads out of curiously but when I finally able to cash out only small amount of money like .50 or .75 cent. It’s okay at first but I noticed I can cash out 30$ so I tried that but need 50 fragments which sure I can get that. However, I decided to delete PaceFit because it’s lying to my face when I kept watches so many ads to earns hammers to get some prize to earn fragments but it’s stuck at 49 and nothing get to 50. I decided to not use James until I watched all ads videos saving up to 40 then use it on eggs. Let me tell you that I get nothing from waste all 40 hammers to get one so I can have 50 fragments. It’s lying to our face.

Cannot actually cash out your full balance..

Your balance increases quickly, but you will need 50 fragments from the golden egg game. You’ll get the first 30 fragments fairly easily, then after that you’ll watch endless ads (2 for every 1 hammer) and out of every 30-40 hammers you might get 1 more fragment.

The only thing that so far does seem legitimate is the instant cash rewards. You watch 10 ads a day then hit draw and you can instantly withdraw anywhere from $0.01-$20 to your PayPal, Venmo, etc. it costs $0.25 to withdraw. I’ve had PaceFit for about 2 weeks and have not gotten more than $2 yet, but also not gotten less than $1.75 either (before the $0.25 fee).

Yeah don’t do it

Literally just putting 5 stars so it shows my review. So to use PaceFit, you earn points (buds) by walking and watching ads that correspond to money almost on a 1000:1 ratio which is pretty good (1,000 buds is $1) and you earn pretty quickly…. But…. You have to have 50 “fragments” to cash out. You get fragments from cracking open 3 eggs a day (or you can crack more if you watch 2 ads per one egg) and at first you earn fragments pretty fast, but then…. All of a sudden… every egg is empty….. I’ve been at 44 fragments for 1.5 months, opening 3 eggs a day and they have ALL been empty. Soooo no, you can’t actually cash out with PaceFit despite what it tries to tell you.

Great way to get paid for exercising

Only thing that I do not like about PaceFit is the ads that plays anytime you try to save or open or do anything with PaceFit . Also, need more points to earn for the gifts you can earn from the points you earned or received from different things to earn points, by the time you try to win a prize it seems like its a waste of time, I’ve had PaceFit for over a year and I barely got any points or even close to having enough points to get one of the prizes I have been trying to get. Need more points less ads or other ways to earn points towards earning prizes or money bs k

They are legitimate.

After dealing with so many scammers nowadays it’s easy to be skeptical about anything & everything, but to my surprise these guys are really trustworthy, true to their brand, & they’re really cool. You can hang out play cool games, watch an add or two & make money. Honestly it’s like being on a game show but digitally. I’m not getting paid to say this either, I’m just really impressed & grateful that “this app” isn’t a scam & that’s was a pleasant surprise. Hey you don’t have to believe me at all just come see for yourself and I guarantee you’ll be surprised as well & probably saying the same thing as me. Two thumbs up yo this app! Nah foreal…
