Not worth the hassle

I do not do reviews often at all, and after probably 30 attempts to make an AI generation or cover, I have only gotten it to work 3 times. Every other time I get generation failed or a failure error.

I went to contact support, and it doesn’t even let me do that. Very disappointed MusicGPT doesn’t have a free trial, but thankfully I paid for 1 week and canceled. Give me very scammy type of vibes and I do not recommend it to anyone at least from a paid service standpoint.

Absolute garbage anything that’s going to make you pay upfront for music, and they pretty much stole the name from ChatGPT not related. Instead, I’m sure this is Chinese company that’s just there to steal your money and produce generic songs that don’t match the prompt, there are some five star reviews on here, but I think that’s from the creators and their friends don’t be a fool and pay for MusicGPT.

Terrible customer service. I emailed for a question before I continued to use MusicGPT but after 2+ weeks with no response I gave up and deleted my account and app. I will look for something else. You have failed to me. Goodbye.

It failed to deliver on virtually all its promises. The cover tune sounded awful. Instead of sounding like the selected artist it sounded like a kid with a cheap voice changing toy. None of the several songs I created respected the prompts I’d given it. Sorry I wasted $7 bucks trying it out.

Paid $6.99 just to try it out. I accidentally closed MusicGPT and now it’s been generating songs since last night that it will never apparently finish. A waste. No support areas on MusicGPT and if it is It’s very hard to find.

Absolute waste of money, any prompt generates a terrible karaoke version of what you’re looking for, not worth your time.

it doesnt have an option to where i can upload my beats to there to help me write rhymes

The UI is smooth but it’s definitely not enough to pull me away from Suno. Suno gives you so much more control. I guess for a novice this is ok. For that reason I give it 2 stars. Keep cooking boys.

You should let us have 10 more try’s every few months for free because I love your app and I want to keep using it but my parents don’t like subscriptions so I can’t make any more songs but I love your game so much I don’t want to stop using it so please take my advice and make updates every few months or so

I’ve been using MusicGPT for a bit and honestly, it’s very fun to use. It makes songs so quickly, and the quality is way better than I thought it would be. Super simple to use too, which makes it easy to just jump in and start creating.

I just about fell out of my chair! Totally impressed! Highly recommend! Just put in some ( not even a whole song) lyrics, described the vibe I was looking for and literally was floored with results!! It delivered and then sooo much more! Thanks developers! Job well done!
