LA Metro Micro Reviews

Trying to plan a trip for tomorrow but yet LAMetroMicro force quits right around setting the time. Thankfully it seems like I can still plan a trip via the website so I’ll have to stick to that.

I can no longer see a map so I can’t see where the van is, when it’s arriving, or where the location of my pickup or drop off is going to be. Truly awful. Not helpful in any way. Makes riding the metro harder. Very disappointed. The previous app was so much better

i’m sad i’m going to have to agree with every other review on here LOL. The original app was simple and concise, nothing complicated about it. Now, like many other apps, this one did an unnecessary and complicated revamp. Why they included bus stops on here I have no idea lmaaoo

You are told to wait in one place while the driver is told another and then they leave you and charge you for being late. This has happened to me three times already I hate metro micro

Horrible app, it doesn’t even show you where they pick you up at, and you can’t select what bus stops to pick or drop you off and they don’t even send a message that the ride was even here. They should’ve just kept the old app

This is possibly the worst
"update" I have ever seen. It is so difficult to book rides with the new time frame they give. Before I would ensure myself a ride by scheduling. Now, the scheduling window is almost a whole hour? I used to use micro everyday now I can't even get one ride. Ride time frame extended multiple times. The old app had issues but this unbelievable.

LAMetroMicro is absolutely atrocious, first of all, they got rid of multi booking, it is sooo much slower to book and it’s starting to not even give you the chance to go on the micro if there is a nearby normal metro bus. This is such a terrible app. I can’t handle it, there is no more time frame, it just says specific times now, and we all know how accurate that’s going to be, Not accurate at all. I just had to make a statement on how bad this new app is. I’ve been using this service since 2021 consistently and yet it just keeps getting worse, specifically LAMetroMicro .

I used metro micro to get home and go to work everyday, when they came out with this new app I thought they made the process easier or even got a better navigation system for their drivers but no, that’s not the case we got a broken app that doesn’t even allow you to book a ride. I’ve been trying to work with LAMetroMicro for the past couple hours and still no luck. I hope you fix this as soon as possible very disappointed

So right now I have a ride booked, but its not even telling me which bus stop I should be waiting at. Where I live there are two bus stops across the street from each other so this is very unhelpful. Also why can’t I see where the location of the metro micro is anymore? Please fix this issue, we live in LA so there’s millions of bus stops. It would be helpful to know exactly which one I need to be waiting.

Someone in the San Gabriel Valley region decided it was as a good idea to use standard passenger vehicles (Sienna min vans) for public transport. Hard to get into, hard to get out off. Why? Smh.

Faster pickups and drop offs! Definitely more efficient since implementing new policies. No complaints so far since the new app launched (:

I love metro micro! Very convenient and at first LAMetroMicro was a bit confusing but you honestly you just need to play around with it at first and you’ll get it.

…but for now, I’m so grateful LAMetroMicro exists. Transportation options can be pretty limited for epileptic people like me, so the existence of this program means a lot.

I have been using metro micro since the trial began years ago. Not a perfect App, having to plan ahead can be very annoying/if you have last minute plans. Not nearly as convenient as something like Lyft or Uber but the price makes it very worth it. I have noticed drivers in the last year become incredibly irritable which don’t necessarily blame them as it seems like a very taxing job, but it doesn’t help the experience. I really enjoy riding on the micros despite the delays and inconvenience. (Of which there are A LOT).. I don’t drive and this is a great option for teens young adults who don’t either.

I find the new app to be an improvement. I recommend Metro Micro to everyone I know — it’s a really invaluable service that not enough people know about!

Amazing upgrade, I couldn’t believe it. App functions awesome and the cars are great, sometime pickup instructions are weird on the map other than that great

I got a bus right away, which is not the old micro experience. Keep it up!

I’ve been loving taken metro micro especially to Glendale galleria with all the traffic there makes my ride there quick n easy, efficient time easy pick up easy drop off! I recommended it to all my friends, a good alternative to the bus :)

The old app was incredibly unreliable, it didn’t give me an accurate representation on when the metro would arrive, and I would often arrive late.

LAMetroMicro shows me directly where the car is at all times and where it’s heading. If anything, the card arrives way earlier than I anticipate now.

I find this to be a tremendous upgrade from the previous app version. The user interface is modernized. The map feels refreshed. LAMetroMicro no longer lags, and I now feel this is competitive with other ride share services. I’m reminded as I read other bashful reviews that we’re getting access to travel pretty far for only $2.50. This is a huge step forward for transit options in LA. 5 stars because my experience contrasts from others, where I’ve experienced improvement. New vehicle fleets, kind drivers, updated routes, I’m very pleased. I’m an Altadena resident who has seen immense responsiveness post-fire. I am grateful to our leaders for keeping this program alive which previously did not exist several years ago, and is helping home feel not so challenging to navigate around in.
