Can’t edit height, and app changed it to metric but left my weight at lbs. it’s saying I’m underweight when I am clinically obese. Downloaded it because it was advertised as free on Reddit, but this costs money.

Awesome app! I think that in the future it should be able to adjust preferences in changing measurement units such as lbs or inches. Similarly, I think it would also be cool for it to be compatible with Apple Health so my data can be registered. On another note, I think it would be awesome if we could add body measurements and save them in order to see the body fat as we lose or gain weight. Lots of potential, I’m so excited!

If you have Apple HealthKit integration, you don’t need to ask users to manually input their data. Provide an option at the onset. If the users chooses not to connect to HealthKit, take them through the manual input onboarding.
On the Home Screen, the app calculates a Target weight of 160lbs, recommending 15lbs of weight loss. I see no way to manually adjust this and no accounting for body type… muscle mass vs fat. A lean 180lbs person might only want to lose 5-10lbs or a flabby person might want to lose 20lbs. The app should accommodate different body types.
Also, the bottom section on the Home Screen says that my BMI is “Very Underweight” with a BMI of 12.4 kg/m. The settings are set to imperial… so kg/m shouldn’t be a calculation at all. Secondly, the app is confused, contradicting the recommended weight loss… stating that I need to lose 15lbs, yet I’m very underweight. The app appears to be calculating my actual weight as 12.4kg or 27.3lbs… which would be VERY underweight.
Overall, I’m impressed with the dev’s responsiveness to comments via updates. It would likely help ratings/reviews if the dev responded directly to user reviews letting users know that they are working on the issues expressed.
