Yes you can take a picture of food and AI detects it, but then AI will give you the results in different languages. Then you can never add anything manual in case AI can’t detect any food from your picture (ex: like adding ranch or ketchup is impossible). The days also mess up constantly. I will be stuck on Wednesday’s page when it’s Thursday. The app won’t even recognize the day has changed and so I’m adding calories to the wrong days without control or ability to fix it.

So far so good… the only thing I do not like is there isn’t a lot of editing options. For example, if you forget to start your fast you can not adjust your time. If your paired tracker dies or you forget to put it on you can not add steps. Nothing major but those changes would take my rating from 4 to 5 star.

So, I normally use my Fitness Pal, and it is fine but I couldn’t resist the reasonable pricing for a year’s worth of use from this app. I like that you can take a photo and it recognizes, in some cases, the food and gives it a nutritionally count. Now, with true transparency, I have only been using the app for a couple of days, but I also know that I lose more weight when I am consistent and honest with my food input as well as track it. Right now I am eating based in the diet I have chosen but I look forward to trying out the meal plans that Weill keep in honest.
