Margins Reviews

Margins of course will track what books I read and my feedback, and I originally populated it from Goodreads, so I didn’t lose anything of my history. But after that, I get to decide what series or favorites or authors are what I like. I appreciate features I might not even need, like the reading tracker. And I like how recommendations are offered up by vibes similar to what I’ve been reading. Each next release provides a new feature, and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next with this new app!

Of course I now consume all varieties of content but books still remain the format to gain ground truth knowledge. It has a bit of wonder there’s no killer app around reading and books since Goodreads that hasn’t exactly kept up with time. I look forward to see this app to be the super app for books to discover, share, buy and keep track of my readings.

Designers are clearly passionate about reading. The AI powered book search is great for finding what’s next (will even return books based on random photos in your camera roll). Really upped my reading since I started using this, and devs have been really responsive to feedback.

I think Margins is easier to use than some of its competitors when shelving books, editing past reads, and creating new book shelves. I appreciate that you can leave half-star reviews as well!

FINALLY a book app where I can track reads and recommendations PROPERLY... Including format, rereads, and who recommended a book to me. It actually feels like browsing a bookstore and finding old friends and exciting new reads. The "Search By Vibes" is the Killer Feature -- everyone I show that to goes "WHOA!"

A fantastic and beautiful alternative to Goodreads and StoryGraph that eliminates all the unnecessary advertising and keeps logging super simple and at the forefront. I’m a big fan of being able to change the covers on each book.

The vibes do a great job suggesting books I might want to read. The biggest problem with books is finding ones you want to read. this app solves much of this problem

Really am enjoying using Margins as it is a great way to kleep track of the books you have read. Love the aspect of setting a reading challenge for myself.
