Title says it all

ShipsLogbook worked until I upgraded to iOS7. Do not purchase until they fix it.

Nothing functional about ShipsLogbook

Really liked it before this last update now it is totally unusable had to delete it to the cloud were it lives hoping for the old app to return

Garbage

I am a novice paddler. I have only used ShipsLogbook a couple of time and it does pretty much everything I hoped it would. However it did shut down when I stopped in one place for a while to watch a school of fish on the surface. I may have to adjust the settings to account for longer sightseeing stops. That may earn it the 5th star once I figure it all out!!!

Tried a few logging programs, liked this one the best

I was looking to move from a paper log book, and wanted an app that could easily import .gpx files. Skipper does a great job, and generates a nice map to easily see where I’ve sailed that day.

The author, Axel, is very responsive with tech support.

I’d love to see data saved to iCloud, and perhaps a .pdf export functionality. But for now, I’m delighted with how it works on my iPad

I love my skipper app! I use it every time I paddle or sail. It feels like a personal, friendly app that I like taking it along with me on my adventures. It’s great for tracking my time on the water. It’s affordable too

So Far the set up is pretty easy! I have made suggestions that the developers add other chat formats such as iOS messages. There are many people like myself that prefer not to join into the facebook or twitter platforms. That being said I’m not able to use messenger unless I join facebook.
I’m getting this all ready though we are still shopping for that perfect new chapter in our lives. Our boat is to become our new home. We will sell our home and become permanent live aboard.
So as time draws nearer and we find our new home we will be updating our review of ShipsLogbook. For our records and for insurance purposes ShipsLogbook will be used for many different purposes. I shall tell everyone just how well ShipsLogbook can handle everything. So Far So Good!!

I used ShipsLogbook to log my voyages in the last couple of weeks and I am very impressed. Easy to use and accurate. It would be nice if there was the possibility to upload photos in the log.

If you're a boater of any kind then buy ShipsLogbook! Sailors will certainly take delight but it would still be enjoyable for a motor on the lake. I spent a long time looking for a decent weather app for sailing. I still hadn't found anything that beat listening to the radio until now!

I found ShipsLogbook on Product Hunt where it is called a "Runkeeper for your boat". True, and I think I'm really going to enjoy that feature! But it also is the best marine weather app, and that feature is just thrown in! Beautiful interface, very useful app.

Glad there's a sailing savvy developer out there with a good eye for design.

I use and love ShipsLogbook.

This is a great application that works perfectly.

1. Clean, simple look.
2. Shows only the data I want for logging kayak/sailing lake trips.
3. Color-coded speed and milage on map display.
4. Average wind recorded.
5. Multiple map types are available.
6. Wind forecast is helpful.
7. Good price for the above!

I hope future versions might include an option to add photos to a specific sail.

Have used Skipper for over a year to track my rowing on San Francisco Bay. Great maps, satellite views and ability to share to Facebook, Twitter etc all directly from iPhone. Thanks Skipper!

Can’t wait to try ShipsLogbook in my next trip. Simple app but does what it says.
