I tried estimating a few projects and the prices were so incredibly low that no contractor would ever be able to make money on it.

I have a 400sqft kitchen with lots of cabinets and 75sqft of countertops. It estimated the total cost with labor at $18k, lol. The cabinets alone would cost that. As a contractor, I wouldn’t touch this kitchen for less than $50k.

Whoever designed SimplyWise clearly has no clue about construction.

They set it up to where you can't drop down your Apple keyboard to hit the submit button once you take the photo and enter your description. And on top of that when I tried to delete my account it tells me I'm entering the wrong password I know exactly what my password is. I'm not sure what their problem is

I paid the subscription fee, started using SimplyWise , SimplyWise stopped working, I tried to remove SimplyWise from the phone and then re-login, it would not allow me to do so, without signing up for another subscription. After signing up for another subscription tried logging in/setting up and it tells me that my phone number is already on file.. There is no way to log out of SimplyWise and then log back into SimplyWise or get any information to be able to do so once you’re locked out. Unacceptable.!

I like this up on the beginning and now I hate it before I just need to put some details and the up automatically give me a nice and especial details after and update stop doing that don’t waste your time now is useless

Unable to type in amounts once the estimate is generated. Takes a long time to change quantity and price. Happens when i estimate is first generated and would be very convenient to be able to type in the amount rather than clicking the (-) and (+) button thousands of times. Extremely inconvenient when dealing with 4-5
Digit numbers.

Hitting the back button takes you to the beginning when creating an estimate. This is very frustrating. Especially when you just want to chance specifics of the scope (the questions SimplyWise asks you)

Lastly, but def not least. If you switch screens on your phone (to gather info), Estimates in process will delete and app will restart your estimate! Is there a way to change the settings so the estimate does not zero out or start over if you switch screens on your phone? Happens every time. And necessary to change screens when searching for info. Thank you.

Good and accurate program. But the three issues above are a deal breaker.

I absolutely loved SimplyWise when I first downloaded it! It’s been amazing and super useful. However, recently it seems like it updated or changed somehow, and now I can’t send estimates to clients anymore. It just gives me a ‘preview’ option and nothing else, which is really frustrating.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, and if so, I’d love some help! Other than that, I still think SimplyWise is great and recommend it to everyone. Just hoping this issue gets fixed soon!

SimplyWise is awesome but 30 a month is pretty expensive it sound be half that

Easy to use

Fast and accurate

Used this so I wouldn’t go over budget on a renovation. The scanner knows exactly what’s in the image and gets pretty specific! I only had to change a couple things, which was no problem. You can save the project to update it as you go. Now I’m using it as an expense tracker!

The perfect app for estimating jobs on site without the hassle

I have only used this for 2 estimates so take what I say with a grain of salt! But the 2 estimates I have done with it have been fairly detailed and seem profitable.

Has been so helpful while I’ve been doing home renovations! I’m new to a lot of the projects we’ve been working on, so it’s been so nice to be able to plan for what each phase will cost. Great app!!

Wow just wow this is amazing!! My biggest struggle as a beginner contractor is giving accurate bids and this beyond helpful! Honestly I’m baffled this is for only $10 a month!! Thank you so much for SimplyWise!

One of the hardest parts of our job is getting people numbers quickly. This gives us an amazing starting point. We use it for every project.

The numbers are accurate and SimplyWise lists all possible expenses, so I don’t have to worry if I missed something or if my bid was too low or too high. I know what it’s going to cost me and I can bid accordingly.
