Great app considering itβs free. Unfortunately my only interest in NFCTools (and in NFC tags) was to allow visitors a way to join my wifi without a need for me to find, provide or remember the password.
When I wrote a URL tag it worked normal and a notification pops up asking to open my default browser. For the Wifi option I was able to write the wifi information but phones do absolutely nothing when tapping them. I naively thought it would be similar to joining wifi with a QR code. For this reason I removed a star, besides that itβs great and many free options.
Note: Do not buy/pay for the Simply NFC app if you wish to enable a Wifi tag. I bought hoping writing the nfc tag for wifi would work, it did not. I suspect that every other option on that app (Simply NFC) is included on NFCTools (this app) free of charge.

After reading the information, NFC Tools: Card Reader & Write suggests action navigation to optimize user experience, such as adding contacts, connecting to Wi-Fi, and navigating addresses on maps.
It can also retrieve technical information about tags, such as tag/card type, protocol, data format, serial number, and memory size, helping you determine if a tag is writable or read-only.
The app allows you to read a wide range of formats, including phone contacts, Wi-Fi credentials, text, URLs, social profiles...We still regurlarly update.
NFC (Near Field Communication) operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz, enabling seamless and secure data exchange between devices over short distances.
The app also functions as an RFID reader and HID reader for certain compatible tags at the same frequency.
