I had a Unicode character issue with NFCcoolToolsTagReader and sent in a gripe. Within a few days I actually got a feedback response email from the developer himself (shocking nowadays). Within a week, NFCcoolToolsTagReader was updated with my fix! That’s enough for high marks in today’s app worlds. It wouldn’t be fair to make the dev live up to all that for every gripe, but he did it - most don’t. A living, breathing app will only evolve if the dev is alive, and this one is. I gotta support that. Great job!

Thank you for the message that pops up when NFCcoolToolsTagReader is opened on a non-compatible device. That isn’t your fault and I appreciate your honesty in saying that you submitted NFCcoolToolsTagReader for download to us by mistake. There’s a lot of bases to cover, so it’s understandable. The message saved me quite a bit of time that I would wasted trying to make it work.

I’ll re-download next month when I upgrade my phone.

Hi, I really like NFCcoolToolsTagReader I am hoping to use it w/ my amiibo I own. I would appreciate if the developer will try and make it work for iOS 13.3 & 13.6 both will not completely download from NFCcoolToolsTagReader Store. Only those two versions seem to have an issue; it must be from the recent updates in the last week or so...

After reading the reviews I’ve got to give a five because of developers commitment to his app! Great work! Current updates, dedicated, and patience with the illiterate when biting tongue and refraining from use of explicit adjectives when making replies.
Sorry for the developer hurdles laid down by the Apple, but I guess it’s for the best, given the mess over at Googles store.
Keep doing what you’re doing! Seems that you’ve met your calling.

So far I have used several different NFC writer/reader programs.

This one works with PVC cards, stickers, rings, I have yet to have any issues with it. Best part is it has a simple and straight forward GUI.

Only question I have about the software is if the delete function actually completely removes the data from the user’s phone after a read or write? Hopefully there is no cache or metadata use of the contents of the writes/reads etc...

In short, great program I would highly recommend to anyone interested in NFC tagging, from hobbyists to professionals.

Seems to be a solid app but I’d love the option to pay a reasonable fee to get rid of ads. I’d even be okay with a subscription if the price was reasonable. (In the ballpark of 12 per year or less.)

Also there needs to be a way to edit previously entered text for writing. The ability to copy and paste previous entries would also be nice.

Apple has the shortcuts app. How do I transfer a shortcut from the shortcuts app to write to my nfc tag in the shortcuts section of your app? And if that’s not possible then how exactly do I write any shortcut at all? I’m confused

This is the most functional nfc app I’ve seen, but would to remove ads for a fee. Subscription would ruin it. $5 or less.

Additionally, it would be great to be able to edit existing write entries to fix typos, etc. currently you have to create a whole new entry.

Lastly, it is my understanding that it is possible to lock nfc tags so that they are readonly. I would love if NFCcoolToolsTagReader provides me the option to do that.

Over all it has lots of great functionality and awesome features. Some of the capabilities away from NFC are a bit distracting but over all pretty good.

The UI is the only real complain I have.
It could be greatly improved and there should be an endless read or write feature for all capabilities including formatting so that you don't have to repeatedly keep pressing the buttons to format.

Other than the UI it has great potential.

NFCcoolToolsTagReader is very good for NFC tags, but the translation (at least Chinese version) needs to be fixed, some ambiguous words are missing their real meanings. Maybe a GitHub page for volunteers to help translating is better.

For the last two weeks I have not been able to read any results from my FreeStyle Libre scanner. I put that app on my wife’s phone and it works. Now I know it’s my Apple SE phone and the NFC.

It’s all about placement of your tag and if you have a case or not. I place my tag at the very top middle of my iPhone 8 Plus and it immediately picks up my smart ring.
I do have to remove my case though.

I thought NFCcoolToolsTagReader wasn’t working properly, but the NFC tags were damaged somehow after using them once.

Would I be able to copy what’s on one tag onto my phone and use my phone instead of a tag? Besides that it’s is great. 😁

I’m really thankful NFCcoolToolsTagReader was put on NFCcoolToolsTagReader Store for people with iPhones that want more functionality. Please try out NFCcoolToolsTagReader if you have an iPhone 7 or higher. It’s really worth it.

Even though my phone can not support this i loved the message that popped up when i opened NFCcoolToolsTagReader . I will get me a newer phone and get NFCcoolToolsTagReader just because of the well worded message

Unfortunately this is not compatible with my phone but Im impressed with the developer response to the issue. If for nothing else, 5 stars for the care put into NFCcoolToolsTagReader for its users

I love NFCcoolToolsTagReader, it's my go to for reading and writing NFC tags. However, I wish there was a way to clear tags. I will update my review once this is added.

The developer is not to blame that Apple has planned obsolescence into their devices and programming. The devices prior to the iPhone 7 are not permitted to operate with NFC devices. I gave a three star for the developer having the desire to do what was necessary, but withheld two stars for Apple being the blaggards that they are.

Tried several apps, not happy. This one worked first try.

Would it be an option to share a WiFi SSID and Password ?

It is great so far I have had no issues so far. It could use better instructions or examples.

Even has a button to hide ads

NFCcoolToolsTagReader shuts down when I try to read text. It scans it fine, but shuts down when opening text. Not really to thrilled about NFCcoolToolsTagReader.

Pls understand the users when they complain. Instead of insulting back u can just appologies to them.

NFCcoolToolsTagReader really needs an Ad-Free (paid) version.

Developer too lazy to re submit his app. Also read reviews, he insults people! Save your money for someone who cares.
