Can You Escape Reviews

I really like the games you make and I was looking forward to downloading all of the games in this collection. Now I’m not sure if it’s because I tried to download more than one at a time or because I accidentally closed out before they could finish downloading but several of the extra packs are now grayed out with loading symbols on them that aren’t rotating and they say “paused” with the exception of one saying “downloading” and the bar never filling up. Clicking on any of the paused ones brings up a loading screen for 20 seconds which then just closes after loading nothing. And what’s more I can’t get it to load any other sets either. I’m on stable WiFi and everything. I even tried deleting the game and re-downloading it several times but nothing changes...I can only access the first level pack and that’s it. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Just tried downloading it again after a couple weeks and the packs all say “Failed! Please try again!” So I tried again and it says loading for 15 seconds and then nothing happens...AGAIN...I just want to download the packs and play the game, why is that so hard!

My sister introduced me to this game and I think it’s a wonderful game however once I reached and finished level 8, I was informed that in order finish the other levels I had to purchase them. This made me very angry because she was on level 10 and had NOT bought the other levels and as we checked, DOES NOT HAVE TO. She already has access to the full game and never payed a dime. Just because she has an LG and I have an iPhone does absolutely not mean that the game should be any different. I will not by the other levels and I will not download your other escape the room apps until this is changed. Either make nobody have to pay or make everyone pay. But I will tell you, you will be getting no money from my family either way. I’m sure you as the creators decided to make it this way because the majority of people own iPhones or Androids however I cannot speak for those who play the game on Androids because I don’t know if it is any different on them. So many other game are like this and it makes me very angry. I truly hope you see this and correct your unfair mistakes. Sincerely, a very angry player.

I love apps that are fun but give you a chance to think and solve puzzles, as expected being a digital escape room it's rather difficult to know what you have access too because if you tap and miss something you might get stuck or not realize something was there the whole time. True the adds are annoying but you'll find that in about any app. I don't know if any one else has had this issue, but once I got to level 8, the game would not let me continue unless I buy some pack despite the fact level select shows there show be more levels I can get to without paying, I've tried everything I can and memorized the door codes to instantly escape on level 8 but it won't let me progress therefore I have to delete CanYouEscape . I would give this a five if not for this issue. I will download another escape app if theirs still and hope there aren't any similar problems.

I’ve really enjoyed this game. I downloaded it a long time ago when it was just a few levels and abandoned it once I had finished them. I was pleasantly surprised when I returned recently and saw that additional games had been added. My overall complaint is that the objects we need to collect can be hard to see, and nearly impossible to examine once you’ve picked it up. If it’s not something easily recognizable like a candle, it can be very challenging to figure out its use in the puzzle. As for a specific complaint, the secret room in the time travel game has a glitch: the top two arrows on the screen will not rotate so I cannot create a circle. I’ve watched the walkthrough and have tried to find other ways around, but I can’t get past this very early point. Please help!! For now,I’ll just have to move on to a different room to escape.

Overall it's a decent game. I spent ninety nine cents to remove ads almost immediately, then bought the combo pack to unlock both extra level packs. The levels were fun and challenging, some downright infuriating because I just knew I had the color combinations correct, until I did some rotating until I got it right. I like that they make the answers available in case you need them, and as my own little game, I like to do a second run and try to complete the level faster than the tutorial video. I would say download and try it, but as of right now, don't spend money to unlock levels or remove ads, the game isn't long enough to warrant ad removal

There was a clue that used a charcoal gray/ light black race car, but to solve it, you have to say the car is a bright royal blue. There was another clue that had the numbers 1 and 8 on red, but you only use the 1. I guess the 8 is supposed to be orange. I wouldn’t care except they use sneaky forced ads. I clicked on the question mark and it played a video ad, then asked me if I wanted to see the walkthrough, then played another ad after the walkthrough. So I had to watch two video ads just to find out the gray/black car is supposed to be royal blue. And you also have to watch a video ad if you are searching the room and accidentally click on the question mark since it plays an ad whether you watch the walkthrough or not. Then they of course have more video ads after you complete each level. This was also way too easy. About 95% of the clues/tasks are completely obvious, and only a few require thinking.

I love these escape puzzles. They are quite fun and relaxing as they help take your mind off of other stressful happenings in our hectic daily lives. Because you have to think at these games, this is what helps to relax you as you don't have time to think about the stress in your life. While some puzzles are more challenging than others, I generally love all the puzzles distributed by Karelia Kirsipuu. My husband and I love playing them together and even challenge each other by seeing who can solve the puzzle 1st on their own iPad.

I saw the picture and was like this used to be my favorite game growing up!! But no it isn’t anything like the original one anymore... Please bring it back if possible!! I miss it so much and it warms my heart with all of the memories with in the original. It’s still a good game but folks liked both the original and the newer one. It made me smile to see that y’all still make games. I just wanna say whoever is reading this either way both games made me smile and they are both really good games and the people who make it are incredible at what they do. 🙂

I notice this a lot but there are many levels that I have gone through that some of the steps won’t work causing me to watch the walkthrough (which have stopped working through the game). After the video I can make it to the next level by skipping the part that was broken but now I am at level 11 in Escape City and there is one crucial step that I need to do that is broken. I can’t add the powder to the clay mold. Without this step I can’t get the key and finish the room. I love how this game makes me think but I can’t enjoy that when it’s bugged.

I’ve had this game for a while now, I play it from time to time because it’s my favorite escape game. Recently the walkthroughs haven’t been working at all, even on levels I’ve already completed. The game might need an update for compatibility possibly or a quick update, I’ve never been super stuck until I played this game so this is a first for me. But that’s just because this game is really good, the ads work fine and I don’t mind them but the walkthroughs aren’t working or loading correctly and just crashes CanYouEscape . Thanks for reading this, I hope this isn’t a huge issue to deal with.

This game should be given a four or five star review, if I were only able to look at the game itself. But unfortunately, I can’t. If I try to do anything at all, I’m forced to look at another 30 second ad! ***Infuriating!!!*** Grrr!!

Ads are a nuisance, to be sure. And the ones who pop up every where are as bad as anything. But why must they be mini infomercials, 30 or 40 seconds long? And sometimes for games I already own!

The game itself is rather delightful. Challenging, to be sure. You have to look under every stone, if you will, to find clues and objects to find your way out of that room. Sometimes the way is very obscure, but it’s always there. I’ve had to suspend my objective way of looking at things, just for the sake of this game, and I was then able to enjoy it more.

If you are able to get past the ads in this game give it a chance. It will challenge you, and even reward your sense of accomplishment. But you might throw your iPad across the room in the half-hour commercials hidden amongst the game levels...

I really love this game! I think those who are writing reviews which say it is easy should try it without looking at the "clue videos" which show you how to solve each one, step by step. Also, they get a little more difficult as you move through the levels, so perhaps these people have not tried the more advanced puzzles. Personally, I think it is one of the better puzzles/games out there. Just my two cents...(probably not worth much).

Most levels are good, and some are fairly challenging. However, I am so bummed that I cannot get past level 11 on Escape City, as the clay won’t go into the mold to be able to finish the level, so therefore, I cannot do levels 12-19 either.☹️ (I’ve even watched the cheat movie to verify I was doing it right.) Overall, the game pack is awesome. And I would recommend to others, provided they know it is not a perfect game pack, and there are some glitches to work with on a few of the levels.

Hi, so I’m revisiting this game after a few years on a different device. I’ve noticed all of the different games have been combined, however the original levels aren’t available anymore. I checked and the “can you escape” original games and levels are still available on google play. I’m unsure as to why they’re not here. Also, the developer on google play is MobiGrow and this Developer is Mobiplay OU. I would assume they are the same company but I’m unsure. My question/concern is where are the original levels? These levels were the best!

Let’s get the flaws out of the way first. Many inventory objects and clues are so small or obscured as to be unidentifiable. Also, you often need to tap the same area multiple times to hit the zone that trigger an action. This combination of flaws prompts the “tap everything you see at least twice” mode of playing. However, it’s freeware so I can’t complain to much. The ads aren’t too intrusive. The puzzles are easy to moderately difficult. With that many rooms, the puzzle designs inevitably become repetitive.

Bonus levels should be FREE considering the annoying ads we have to deal with. Stuck after beating level 8 and can't seem to go on after winning repeatedly. Therefore I'm assuming that 8 is the final free level and level 9 + are the .99¢ bonus levels I've been asked to buy. Fun Game but took less than an hour to beat all 8 levels without use of any cheat videos and now must delete game since there's nothing more I can play without paying for "bonus" packs. I feel the LONG INTERACTIVE ADs are my payment and I shouldn't need to pay for more levels.

Like other reviews, I cannot get past level 11 on Escape City where I have to put the powder into the mold. I’ve tried 5 different times and can not get it to work. There have been a few instances where I had to restart a level because I could not “go through” the door to the next level but that hasn’t been often. Would be great to have an option to report bugs while in the game to make it easier to pinpoint.

I’m an avid escape game fan, and i’ve had a blast playing through the games. My only 2 problems have to deal with the walkthroughs and the secret level of time travel escape. With time travel escape, the secret level is impossible because the 2 upper arrows can’t turn, leaving it impossible for me to create a circle. With the walkthroughs the videos don’t work and only end up crashing.

Interesting and easy puzzles if you have time to kill but don’t really want to get too deep. The crappy parts: have to buy after Level 8 on the iPhone; doesn’t tell you that’s what you need to do and calls them Bonus Levels which is usually something that comes up when you have completed all the levels; have to redo your preferred settings. Every. Time. You. Go. Back. In. ; have to replay Level 8, again, and again; and the long ads are annoying as all hell. If you have to pay you shouldn’t have to look at looooonnngggg ads. Totally not worth it and deleting. I’m gonna watch out on getting games from this company. :/

I really enjoyed going through the first game that was downloaded so I decided to pay to remove ads and download some of the other games. Something messed up downloading them so I had to delete CanYouEscape and reinstall. When I went back to the game I once again had ads and when I try to click restore in settings which I assume means restore purchases, it just sits frozen with the music playing and never does anything. I’d really like to know how to have my ads removed, since I’d really like to not have to pay once again to remove all the ads from the game....

For the most part I found the escape games fun but in three of them there were glitches. Hellgate Escape wouldn’t even load. Time travel escape, the secret room there was an a set of four arrows that you had to click on in order to proceed but two of them weren’t clickable. Lastly Escape Quest you can’t get past level 3 because everytime you try to click on the door that will let you complete and go to the next level it brings you back to the closed door where you just put the key in and does not let you go through it so game over because without going through that door you can’t get to the next level.

I don't see why not to give this 5 stars. I'm enjoying it and rarely do I find an app the keeps me entertained more than a minute or two. It's pretty simple so far, but each level is progressively getting more complex. Nice graphics, nice idea. I definitely plan on trying the other ones when I'm done with this, and I'll probably end up paying for ad free versions since the price is so cheap and I'd like to support the developer.
