I had been going through a divorce. Money has been tight. I tried to make it to the next exit that a gas station was available. Unfortunately, I miss judged and ran out of gas before the exit. Firstly, I was highly embarrassed and so scared.
I put my head down on the steering wheel and praying in my head. Only, to look up and see the sc dot truck in my rear view mirror. He gave me a gallon of gas and waited until my truck started.
I had no idea that they even existed for road side assistance and free.. I just wanted to thank the DOT for making this available and I am so thankful!!

Just wanted to say thanks for the work that went into this latest version, it is a huge leap past the old version in so many ways. 511SouthCarolinaTraffic Store still has screenshots from the old version though...

App needs to be updated for the newest iOS. Camera’s won’t even display on the map. 511SouthCarolinaTraffic is great for those of us in public safety! It has come in handy multiple times, especially with interstate 20 being redone in LexCo.

This apps works well for me. I mainly use it in my local area. Since 511SouthCarolinaTraffic is tied to the local cameras I can understand the frustration of some people when the cameras don't work, but this isn't the fault of 511SouthCarolinaTraffic . When I first use 511SouthCarolinaTraffic the phone I had showed me just still images and would update every 3 to 4 seconds sometimes not at all. Since I've upgraded to a newer, phone I've noticed that the video streams a pretty consistent now.
A feature that 511SouthCarolinaTraffic is needing is the ability to save favorite cameras because it's sort of tidious to navigate through the menus every time to find the specific cameras that you use on a daily basis, this should be a feature where you could save the cameras you use on a regular basis.

The prior version of 511SouthCarolinaTraffic was simple and clean. They’ve tried to add too much to it, and while it has more info available, it just takes too much hunting to find cameras by area rather than route.

Liking it so far from my initial run through. Only thing I see missing is CarPlay support. Please consider adding that.

Cameras are gone completely on the map.. please fix

….. 511SouthCarolinaTraffic was great. It is worthless in its current state. I get better information from Waze. There is no information worth while to be found on SC511.

It gets one star because that was the lowest mark I could give.

I use 511SouthCarolinaTraffic all the time to get traffic updates and to also check the weather. My daughter texts me all the time when she sees something of interest. I always check the cameras before I leave work to come home. Get a good ideal of how my drive will go.

Cameras are in no apparent order. They should be in the order, all cameras on I26 East or West should be in order of the way they go down the highways, all cameras on I526 E and W should be in order, etc. Most people don’t know mile marker or exit numbers, they only know names. The original app let you customize the camera list so you could put them in your own order.
Also seems they always turn the cameras off where there is an accident so you can’t check the traffic around it. The cameras at the Wando Bridges and Daniel Island are needed more than ever now but they have been removed/turned off.

I use other traffic apps too, but this one has a very big advantage with up to date traffic camera still images. Also nice to have the traffic flow overlays and Overhead message signs and their info as well! I can see 511SouthCarolinaTraffic becoming one of my favorites since I travel around the state daily.

About every navigation app can show traffic congestion. Viewing the traffic cameras would be the only thing 511SouthCarolinaTraffic has going for it and it would be really neat. However for years now over half the cameras dont work in the Myrtle Beach area. Did SCDOT and our tax $ actually create 511SouthCarolinaTraffic? If so, it looks like its been a waste of money. Or maybe they need to fix broken cameras. Just fix the problem, it could actually be a useful app. Until that happens, 511SouthCarolinaTraffic is junk.

Does what you need it to do. No video, but who needs to be looking at that while your driving. Never mind we shouldn't be looking at this one while driving either. Lol.

Fairly good app but as of late it crashes going into Maps. Have to go straight to cameras to see the ones I want. A hassle. Sometimes when there's an accident near a camera, that particular camera cannot be viewed. So it's hard to determine if I need to detour around it or just wait through it.

Can't see all web cams. No consistency on which cams are up versus down. Fully understand down cams due to weather. But those up versus down appears random outside of weather affected areas. Benefits would be greater given higher cam reliability

I love 511SouthCarolinaTraffic. Real time info on traffic. It would be great if we can get notifications when there are incidents.

Crashes in map view everyone for me... Otherwise this would be a great app. Also camera should be listed in order of mile markers and a next previous button while in the camera view would be great!

ReadyNC is a great live updated map for NC and I was hoping for the same in this do SC but it’s useless for maps. I’m in the fifth day of hurricane Florence and 511SouthCarolinaTraffic shows mostly clear roads in spite of most of SC being flooded out. The web site has better info but loads slowly. Fail.

511SouthCarolinaTraffic is becoming useless since so many videos will not stream. For example on July 4 the camera showing Isle of Palms traffic is not streaming. Several 526 cameras are not straining. The latest update was supposed to correct but did not.

This is a good little ap for travelers. Great to get information on collisions and road conditions.

Attempts to move map causes crash.

As soon as I pull up the map, app cuts off
