Went to ? (help) and noticed there isn't documentation. I thought this might help my son but even I’m having a hard time figuring out the basics. GUI is pretty cool.
Where is the complex plot?

I installed VisualMath4D mainly for plotting complex functions. I wanted to have a better understanding of wave functions in quantum mechanics. However, there is no way to plot complex functions despite VisualMath4D descriptions!
Needs Instructions

No instructions for using app. Interface is not intuitive. Doesn’t appear to graph functions that are user made. Handsome graphical display but limited usefulness. Nice app for what it does.
VisualMath4D does only exactly as advertised, you can’t even add a comma (,) to a vector field. Nor any i-hat j-hat k-hat etc. user input is feigned but always throws an error unless it is exceedingly rudimentary. And even so those even throw.
Easy to use, ok app. Scaling/range could use work.

I like the ease of graphing with VisualMath4D and in this regard, it's probably the most convenient and fast I've seen.
Unfortunately, a few graphs, like quadric surfaces, will show up incorrectly unless your scaling of the axes is exactly right. For example, when drawing an implicit graph of z^2=x^2+y^2, if the range is set to the default, it will graph a 2-sheet hyperboloid instead of a double cone. This is fine for graphs that I'm already familiar with, but would pose a big issue with graphs that are new. How would I ever know if what I'm seeing is correct?
If this gets fixed, I think this would, hands down, be the best graphing app in store.
Also, an undo button would be nice!!
Question about graphing

VisualMath4D seems to be quite powerful but I have a simple problem: I can’t figure out how to change the scales on the x and y axes. Surely there is a way to do this. The default seems to be -6 to 6 on both axes with the rather odd subdivisions of 0.6. Hopefully the developer can set me straight and I can add two more stars.
Spent 15-20minutes trying to plot e^-(i x) - no dice

Clearly many nice things about the calculator, but I couldn’t get it to plot a complex function using standard notation. Tried multiple plotting types, multiple ways of input. It’s either a limitation of the system or the documentation— either way there are too many competitors for me to continue spending effort trying to decode the limitations of VisualMath4D . Pity — as this would be great for plotting wave equations. (It does work with sin/cos expressions — but I’d rather type my equations in binary...)
Great app, but some struggles

It’s an inspiring app, refreshing my math skills and learning new. But the Delete button is nicely hidden - takes a while to find out how to correct typing mistakes. How about a simple Backspace button in the Num block?
Good animation Would like to be able to save files where I can find them.
Closes immediately after opening

I’m a university professor - thought this might help with classes. Unfortunately it shuts down just after opening. Hope this gets fixed. :(
Edit: reinstalling did work!! Thanks! Currently trying to figure out how to plot Poles and Zeros for DSP transfer functions (the 3-D kind on the unit circle as a kind of terrain plot). A DSP add-on package would be great!!!

How can I describe a math function like:x² + y² + z² = 4?
Love ❤️ VisualMath4D.. never thought it would be possible on my iPhone 👌🏻
Nice and easy to visualize

Great 3D calculator to help you visualize. Does more than what it looks it can do. It'd be nice to have access to help/examples videos.
Calculator doesn’t work!

VisualMath4D is useless. The calculator doesn’t work. The only thing you can graph are the saved functions... you cannot enter anything! Totally useless...
I frequently use Visual Math 4d. A friend sent it to me because I always talk about math and draw functions or explain the algebra behind things...
I use VisualMath4D to combat boredom, to learn about new domains, and, the elegance of the Visuals allows me to enjoy even the simplest parameters.
I would recommend VisualMath4D to anyone.
I wish there was a community that discusses VisualMath4D, as I have not seen any documentation or tutorial videos or message boards. VisualMath4D seems to be powerful enough and maybe I am not looking in the right places.
Thanks for the great app!!
