The game is fun, but the ads make it unplayable. I don’t like saying games are unplayable because of ads, but I’m not kidding with this.
You beat a level? Ad. Lose a level? Ad. You click a button to move your character? Oh you bet that not only gives you an ad, but takes you out of EscapeRun to your internet browser to some random website! I tried to play but it kept bringing me out of EscapeRun , so I guess they just don’t want me to play then huh?
The amount of ads caused my phone to heat up where I could feel it through the case, and my battery drained rapidly. My phone doesn’t act like this when playing high-energy Pokémon GO, so I suspect something is up that is causing so much stress to the phone, that might not just be the ads…

There’s ads every single second of the game, I try to to listen to music while playing but I can’t because of ads getting in the way. Also, if I even try to skip an ad by going in and of it, I watch another ad just to get into the game. Absolutely absurd

I understand that apps use ads to gain profit, but getting an ad after clicking the EXIT BUTTON to check how many levels are left and then getting an ad EVERY TIME I DIE is obsessive. You spend 20% of your time on EscapeRun actually playing the game and 80% of it watching ads. Not worth my time.

Every time I play, it shows me three ads before loading, opens my browser to open one or more tabs with ads, and then every time I tap the movement buttons it plays another ad. I can’t do anything past level 8 because of the amount of ads. Do not recommend.

Ok, this game seemed fun. But litteraly in LESS than a minute i got an add. Skip? Another add. I try playing, and out of nowhere it brings me to Safari for nothing. I re open the game, its laggy, my controls keep disapearing, and it always does a loading screen even when there is no need to load. Also, as soon as I play? Rate us! And more ads!! It's so annoying.

The game itself is fine but made unplayable by the immense amount of ads. You get a pop up ad upon opening the game, after every level (the levels are not particularly long), and after every other death which happens a lot due to the nature of the game. Not to mention constant side bar ads. It’s simply a cheap money grab and there are better games with the same concept but less ads.

I never write reviews on anything but the amount of ads was excessive. I got one during the loading screen. The when I went to press my level it took me to an ad on safari! Officially closing out my game and making me go through loading screen again which had another ad! One whenever I try to press anything, every time I die, every time I win. And I cant find a spot offering no ads. Got through four rounds in total, now deleting.

I like the game overall but it just bombards you with stupid ads. When I first started playing, I got sent to some stupid website with eggs. When I exited it, a few seconds later IT SHOWS UP AGAIN. THATS SO AGGRAVATING. QUIT SPAMMING PLAYERS WITH ADS. I DONT CARE IF YOU NEED AD REVENUE, START PLACING AN AD EVERY 60 MINUTES. Im trying to play the game and I get bombared with ads. Is this seriously your idea of making a game? MAKING AN UNPLAYABLE GAME BY BOMBARDING USERS WITH ANNOYING ADS? IS THAT WHAT YOUR SHOWING ME? I saw the game and I noticed it was a free knock off version of a game that costed like 6.99$ or somewhere around that much and I thought it would be fun to try this one so I downloaded it but I can barely play it because of all the ads!

There are way to many adds in this game. I didn’t even get 30 sec in the game and I already had to click off of 3 things. Like this is really disappointing I really wanted to play this game but I had to delete it cause the adds were so annoying.

i can’t even get through a level without an add popping up? it’s terrible. i think i am on like level 7 and i’m sure i’ve watched 90 ads by now. if i could rate it 0 i would 😭

Ad every other death. Ad every time you win. Pressing the move button frequently clicks and opens the website at the bottom of the page. Not going to argue possible fat finger as I tried pressing the move button from several points and still the same result. Is it fun? Couldn’t tell you. Made it to level three and already deleting because the only thing endless about this game has been the ads.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the concept and gameplay, but every level is at max 30 seconds worth of gameplay without ads, and since this is a troll game that is near guaranteed to kill you every level, you get to watch 2 ads every level.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s cute cute retro game and looked fun to play so of course I got it. The game finished it’s loading screen and gave me an AD I didn’t think much of it cause nothing is free without ADs. Later kept getting frustrated because it would kick me out of the level mid game play for an Ad and I’d lose. It would give me nonstop ads over and over. It made me annoyed cause i couldn’t even pass level 6 without constant Ad interruptions and ruining my game play. Cute game but the ads are out of control that it makes the game not even worth my time.

This game when I played it, it looked professionally done when I went in I noticed it gave me and AD when it was fully loaded. Not only that but it kept giving me more ADs every time I beat and/or died it had been a year and I still couldn’t get to level 10 because of the ADs this game will not only make you bored but I also fell asleep on the third level this game is not too bad but just get rid of all these ADs honestly I’m okay with one or two but this many you’ve just gotta stop

The game is cool but there is just way too many ADs. Every time I died there would be an ADs and I could barely go to level 10 it was so annoying. The person that made this game either need to make the ADs every 60 minutes or 30 minutes or just delete the game and don’t make games anymore because he/she just want money and like I read in the other comments that it is selfish. I rated this a two because of the ADs.

This is a great game, I love playing it in my spare time. However, it is a little aggressive on the adds. Every time I open EscapeRun , I get an add. Then when I start a level, it forces me out of EscapeRun into a random add website. Then I have to reopen the game and watch the starting add all over again. Same problem with “Tap to restart”.

This game is a super fun trial and error game. BUT the ads are every 5 seconds. Almost every time you die, boom, ad. For every 5 seconds of gameplay I watch 10 seconds of ads. Maybe lower the ads to every time you complete a level, then the game would be playable.
