I looked on Reddit and I found Udio. I was using Donna before and I really liked it except it didn’t let me make more than like six songs so I tried this one and it made me very angry for one,It didn’t follow my lyrics at all it didn’t get any idea from it It didn’t follow the lyrics second of all none of the buttons worked I tried to get out of a song, but it wouldn’t let me. I tried all the buttons it wouldn’t let me and it just made me very angry and also it was very confusing and I was all over the place. It just made me very angry and I do not like it. Hopefully, you found this review helpful.

I’ve used the browser based this app countless of times primarily during fun get-togethers with friends making funny tracks featuring them or us. Everything worked great, then they introduced a free daily limit after some songs, which is fair. Now on Udio , it might be a glitch, but it prompts me to create a song. I write in the description, press create, stops creating after 1 second and prompts me to buy a premium plan. So I can’t even create a single free song? That is extremely off putting and can’t imagine new users bothering at all. I really do hope that it’s a glitch.

Udio is horrible! It’s not easy to use at all. All my songs sound like gibberish. Why is it so difficult to use? How can anyone make anything on this? I’m so confused on how people say this is a good app. Every song sound like horrible singers. Its like the singers and rappers I prompt have not talent.😭😭😭😭I even tried to use ChatGPT to help and it just waste my credits. Will not be using this. Suno is way better and easy to use. I can’t do this goofy app. It’s trash!

Udio looks like a lot of fun but accessibility with voice over is nearly impossible. Many buttons are not labeled, others are not even clickable, and Udio will not allow text entry from an external keyboard. Even voice dictation of text is unusuable with voice over enabled. After managing to create a song I could find no way to listen to it or edit it with voice over. I finally gave up out of frustration…, definately not worth paying for anything here.

I downloaded Udio because it advertised to be better than Suno. I pasted my lyrics into Udio and it generated a song that didn’t have a single word I pasted. To top it off there was no option to type in styles or anything! How dare you compare Udio to Suno! Udio might be good for goofing around but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I will try again later and see if it is fixed. If not it will be deleted like all the other fake apps out there.

I type in the style/genre to generate and it creates something completely different.
Also, the voices, often times sound like gibberish or robotic. Like an old CD skipping.
You can leave everything exactly the same, hit generate, and it’ll produce something completely different than the previous song generated. Waste of money. 99% of the time, it produces junk.

Plays about one song while playing to Bluetooth crashes after that. It’s nice seeing my artwork playing to CarPlay but it has no options to navigate the library. Could use improvement but I’m happy to have an app rather than running out of safari.
Udio would do well with a feedback function as well. I see this as the only way to get my feedback across.

There are things you need to improve to Udio to make it more accessible for a blind person. It should not be that hard to get to your Library and check your songs and share them. And I cannot deal with any of that. It’s very, very hard to do frustrating.

I’ve tried a bunch of AI music creators and this app is the best by far. It creates the best most natural sounding voices. A lot of the others have robotic sounding voices. I’ve created well over 100 full songs. It’s a ton of fun and the new app Is really well put together with a nice interface. If you’re a creative person that wants to make music, give this a try. Even if you’re a talented musician this app is a good way to test out song ideas and to easily workshop your music. Then once you have the sound you like you can learn to sing and play it. It gives you an easy way to try out different sounds, and to play with different lyrics quickly and easily. Have fun!

If I pay for service I shouldn’t have to do a hCaptcha puzzle every freaking song I create or want to expand this makes it annoying and frustrating it’s like having ads de I have since canceled my subscription and will be deleting Udio I will say however besides that it’s pretty decent and advanced you can have a lot of fun with this but get rid of the hCaptcha or at least make it so you only do it once when you log in

This is a fun app to make quick songs. Unfortunately there is no fade song out or crop song option that I can find. I tried writing “fade out” in the song description prompt; that didn’t work either. Just some basic editing tools would make Udio way better. Also, AI frequently gets the lyrics you provided wrong.

I’m a blind user I use apps like Suno AI. But Udio, I cannot even navigate through the home screen because if it’s lack of accessibility with VoiceOver. Of course this means creating a song is virtually impossible. And I’m not trying to be scornful or anything toward the creators. I just hope that this is improved in the coming months. Because the audio quality from other users songs is quite impressive

Somehow created a song by luck and that’s kind of cool. Wish I knew how to operate Udio to create one on purpose. The websites even worse. You would think the iOS app would be easier. and the Dev team wold taken advantage of the accessibility implementation in the Xcode. Won’t be spending any money on Udio until I could use it properly.

Udio is great, just one small bugger. sometimes, songs that i played from the feed or in general randomly start playing in the background when i’m not in this app and the audio UI on iphone doesn’t show that a song is playing.

other than that, love it.

I am giving Udio a good rating because of what I wanted has been answered and fixed over all it is great, only a few complaints mostly has to do with less options because it is a app vs website. I understand that it will never be as comprehensive as the website. I do have one suggestion or request. When making art for the song it is really hard to see if at all possible if it can be bigger view when selecting one that would be great! My main issue before was not able to select all the Ai models which is fixed also it was to easy to accidentally push the wrong button which was fixed so over all a great product.

I’m shocked that I finally found something that is easy to use to get my musical ideas out. I’m a classically trained vocalist and write songs in my head but it’s hard for me to ever make them into songs because I am not technical or good with software. Loving Udio. So wonderful for creative musicians lacking the ability to use music production software really well.

this app has been an awesome experience, after my grandpa passed needed something to clear my head and the music on the radio wasn’t cutting it…so I found Udio and start creating my own vibes and it’s helped a lot!

Great opportunity to make songs, especially being a passion without having the find the right singer for each song. Lyric generation and song preferences could be better but I enjoy the songs I make.

I’ve been a devoted user of this app on the website for around 8-9 months, and I am absolutely ecstatic to see that they’ve transformed it into an incredible app! After just an hour of using it, I’m already in love with it as much as I am with the website! I have nothing but praise and appreciation for Udio—it’s truly amazing!
