I think the concept of SuppCo is great and I want to love it so bad! One problem I have with it is that I can never trust what the SuppScore Analysis is telling me. The guidance to increase or decrease certain things such as vitamin D, chromium, and iron fluctuates and is inconsistent every time I update my stack, even if I don’t change a thing. How can it tell me I need to significantly decrease chromium but then the very next update says I need to decrease it, even though nothing has changes? The other issue I have with it is it doesn’t just score based on ingredients or supplement information. It only gives good scores to “trusted”companies. Seems strange to give lower scores to well-known, proven organic, companies.
Great concept, but been waiting on a match for weeks, while others have incorrect information. Should allow the ability to manually specify supplement contents and use crowd sourcing to ensure correctness.
Great app! Just what I was missing with all the supps I take. Good job of finding more popular brands, but more obscure ones might take a day or so for app to match it up. Has scan to find products to add. Not sure how it will be with blends like green powders that have dozens of nutrients, especially when calculating proprietary formulas. I’ll hold back a star till I see how that pans out.
Finally a place to get grounded in real analysis, comparison, and optimization for the cornucopia of supplements in my kitchen cabinet. Being able to see other people’s stacks, find high quality but lower cost alternative brands, and ensuring I’m actually taking what I should be are things I’ve wanted… and now finally found with this app. Excited to dive in further!

I have been using the Suppco supplement tracker for several months now and have made several tweaks to my supplement stack as a result. I appreciate the suggestions from the application and it has been a good resource. I still do my due diligence before making changes, but I like having my supplement stack in one location that makes it easy to evaluate.
I have been in the supplement industry for decades and currently work for Natural Factors - a well reputed brand found only online and in natural health retailers. Unlike most supplements brands (the majority use contract manufacturers), we source our own raw materials, some are grown on our own organic regenerative farm, we test all raw materials vs reliance on Certificates of Analysis, we make, bottle and distribute everything ourselves - full quality control. Finished goods are tested for purity and potency by us and ISURA, a Canadian based ISO certified 3rd party, non-profit testing entity that tests for over 800 contaminants and has standards higher than NSF certified. Because these attributes don't fit into Supp Co's scoring system, we don't rate as high as we should. We also get a "zero" score in innovation because our CEO/Founder isn't an MD, ND or PhD - no consideration given to our vast medical advisory board in Canada. It's not a bad tool but rating systems like this are inherently flawed.
