Maybe this app will grow in the coming years as Letterboxd did once. However, this app does something even letterboxd is guilty of, being a doom scrolling social media app not focused on discussing film. On letterboxd there is at least an ability to discover niche films or lists that start you off in learning about certain genres. This also has the worst ranking system that does not allow you to have similarly ranked films and suffers the IMDb 10 star model. If you actually love discussing movies stick to letterboxd and reddit not this

I don’t watch a ton of movies, but it’s a good app and a great concept (add tv shows!!). The UI could improve by being more user friendly. The posts are really big, I often have to scroll to see entire reviews and I don’t like that I have to click into a review to read the comments. Making the movie cover the first picture on a review instead of a tiny picture in the corner would help clean up the look. Even with all these suggestions it’s still a great app and with some minor tweaks it will make it that much better.

I love the idea of the app, nice and simple and I’d love to try it out extensively but it crashes whenever I try to import my watch history. Given, I have logged a couple thousand movies but I can’t see myself restarting my backlog unless the issue is fixed. Fun idea though.
