The brand new GBG Hoops app is ELITE!
While I’m not a professional athlete, many of us pickup hoopers still want to train like one and the GBG Hoops app has been a revelation for me. While I’ve always been a gym rat and hooper, I never had a true foundational understanding of basketball-specific strength training. I did the same traditional strength workouts that most people in the gym do (more similar to bodybuilder split days) and rarely focused or understood how to train my mobility, Achilles tendon tolerance and ankle strength.
Now in my 30’s, I want to prioritize my longevity and train smarter. I have a history of ankle sprains and have come so far along with this App in understanding how to build and strengthen my tendon tolerance. Following this program alone, I got rid of a bout of plantar fasciitis and recovered well from a bad sprain and now understand how to keep the ankles and Achilles springy and bulletproof.
This App has several programs designed to address and strengthen key areas that will help you develop a more explosive first step, a stronger base and help prevent injury. The videos and polish are also top-notch.
Mike is as knowledgeable and passionate as they come - you will learn so much, while becoming a better mover on the court. GBG!!

I have been doing these programs for roughly 3months and most importantly my knee pain has complete gone away. For those who struggle with everyday knee pain/tendinitis nothing has work better for me than doings these programs. It allowed me to get back to feeling like myself again, But also my strength, explosion and mobility all had a significant increase from what they were in previous seasons even some personal best
The best thing about this app is that its easy to navigate and find exactly what your trying to target but also live examples of the shape you are looking for and equipment you will need for every exercise. Bottom line..it WORKS..my overall knee health and performance has both been tested in various ways and the numbers don’t lie.
