With Gigapixel mobile, we've brought our cutting edge AI image enhancement to the iPhone for the first time.
Where do I start? Firstly, the fact that there is support for iOS, the iPhone-only interface is practically useless for an iPad Pro user like myself. While technically it “does” work on my iPads, the iPhone-only format is quite frankly useless, for me anyway.
Secondly, access to my images is very limiting. Now this seems to be a trend amongst third-party apps, not just Gigapixel. I rarely keep files on my Camera Roll or even use my device’s camera for serious shooting. I keep almost all of my images in the cloud (iCloud, Adobe) and edit from LR ‘Mobile’. I normally would send a photo from LR Mobile for additional editing via the Share function to another app, like Dehancer, Photomator, Radiant, Retouch, VSCO, Pixelmator, etc...why is this option not available for Gigapixel?
I hope to see an iPad-friendly version one day that offers the ability to work and interface with other editors like Lightroom. I’ll keep playing with it but unless these changes are implemented, it is useless for my needs.
Very buggy

GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance is incredibly buggy and frustrating to use. It frequently crashes, signs me out, and displays errors like “not enough credits” when I try to edit. To make matters worse, there’s no option to purchase more credits, and the company’s website doesn’t even mention the mobile app, let alone provide support for it. Logging into my account online doesn’t solve anything either. So far, this has been a complete waste of time.
Not ready.

This has some bugs. I can’t use the pro features or even see where to sign up for them. Says it has a token error. And worse… it makes my photos less detailed than the original. Blurry and glossy looking. And the need for signing up for an account with no need is off putting. I deleted it after five minutes. It doesn’t seem to live up to its promise.
Broken and useless

I’m a Gigapixel user on the desktop (Mac OS) and love it and use it often. But GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance is broken. It won’t let me sign into my account (yes of course I’m using the correct login) and it won’t let me create a new account… it gives the error:
“There was an error creating a user account with the provided email.”
The email I provided is my Apple email. So can’t even use GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance … it’s literally useless. And now deleted.
GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance forces you to log in before you can do anything. But I can’t log in with my Topaz AI account, as it always tells me “The provided email and password combination is incorrect” even though I can use that same email and password to log in to the Topaz AI site. I even tried the “Forgot Password” option, and reset my password. I can still log in to the web site, but not this Gigapixel app. Doesn’t work. ZERO stars.

I was waiting for him and I was disappointed Unfortunately, the application is a bad start, as it contains errors such as: Poor quality 4 jewelry High quality 2 jewelry 😂 It's supposed to be the opposite, but I don't deal with cheap prices It is preferable to set up a monthly subscription I do not need it. I am satisfied with the Remini application, which is better than it and there is no competitor to it
The application is complex and untidy Deleting, unfortunately, there is nothing special about it
Swing and a miss

If you don’t pay for “Pro” cloud credits, there basically isn’t any use for GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance on your iPhone. Aside from an option which apparently lets you “enhance faces” on low rez images… You can’t do a darn thing, all for the low storage space of a gig of ai models.
My phone has the horse power for something on still images. Why can I tinker and enhance without your cloud service? Even a similar pricing model to the desktop software would be preferable.
Disappointed

Not sure how they even thought this was something ready to be released to the public. I have paid for the Gigapixel upscaler on MacOS and I’m very pleased with that application and how it performs.
From communications I received from Topaz, I was under the impression that because of that license I purchased, I’d have access to the pro features in the iOS app when it releases. Not only does that not appear to be the case- there is zero explanation as to how I’d even pay for it if I wasn’t.
Definitely Not Ready For Primetime

Like many others, I was excited for the launch of Gigapixel. I do most of my editing on my iPad Pro but right now there’s no way to edit more than one or two photos. Hopefully Topaz figures out how they’re going to price this, whether it’s credits, subscription or a one time purchase…
The longer they wait, the more people they’re going to alienate.
The photos taken with my iPhone 14 Pro, past ones taken with iPhone X and iPhone SE (1st generation) were much larger in size but in many cases detail was lost to the point of being rendered as soft mush. In some cases the photo differed minimally from the original (yes, they were zoomed in and the detail was virtually the same). Choosing to enhance faces only produced artificial results and some unsettling faces.
I realize this is the first release and it is liked to improve. I hope so. But in the meantime I deleted GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance from my phone.
Can’t review without using all the features

I have Topaz AI and Gigapixel (bought in December 2024). I got an email from them stating I get 100 credit on pre order. I did not! To review, one has to use the feature. I can only use face enhance. Other enhancements require Pro which requires 3 credits and you have to pay for it. Pay to try? Really? I will write another review once I use the features provided I am allowed to even for a limited time or images without paying. Until then it’s useless and zero star.
Not adding to my workflow

I have a license for a previous version of the Mac app. I received an email from Topaz declaring, “You’re getting this for free!” So I’ve downloaded the iOS app, logged in with my regular Topaz Labs account, but the Pro features aren’t available to me. What exactly did I get for free? And when I tap all over, desperately trying to figure out how to try the Pro features, there’s no path to adding coins or jewels or whatever currency GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance exists. Guess I won’t be adding GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance to my list of cool image processing tools any time soon.
Still waiting…

I own the desktop version of Gigapixel and was looking forward to this release when Topaz sent me a link for a free version. Unfortunately GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance is a confusing mess. The UI appears to be moderately intuitive at first glance but nothing seems to work the way it should. Do I have credits? Do I get credits each day?Can I buy more? Do I have the pro version? I was under the impression I was getting 100 free credits by clicking the link they sent me but no luck, even after logging on with My Topaz credentials. I don’t want to try GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance and spend the few coins I appear to have. And until I know what the pay model is, I’ll just stick to the desktop version I have since thats already paid for and works. Still waiting for GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance to be released correctly.
Credits??

by Sbstds
No way to buy credits in GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance . If ya want people to pay to use all the features then give them a way to do it. You should also provide some free credits to those that have already purchased the full giga program so we can see how it works before deciding to spend $. Oh wait…you don’t even give us an option to buy credits!
I was very excited to get Topaz for iOS but after downloading I just got a crashing confusing mess. Can’t wait to see the improvements. 🙏🤞
Decent but unable to access cloud

by Snapkraklpop
I utilized several cloud point to edit an image, but when it was done I got an error message that it was unable to access the image on the cloud…. Which there is no option to access otherwise? I wasted several points on a few failed retries (because it doesn’t credit you back when it crashes and you can’t access the image).
Good start

Like the desktop app, the enhancements are impressive, and I’d like to give it five stars. But points off for (1) inexplicably there’s no iPad-native app, (2) I want to do more than just faces locally, (3) the UI/workflow is awkward, (4) all metadata is stripped from the saved image (what I really want is to integrate the edits with the the original image), and (5) there’s no Photos extension. Hopefully GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance will evolve to address some or most of these, and I look forward to that.

I’m enjoying GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance except it signs me out after a few pics, then it won’t let me sign back in because it doesn’t remember my password. I have to have a link sent then reset my password. Very annoying and will delete GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance if this continues.
Finally found an app that actually works! 🙌

Listen, I've spent way too much time (and money) trying different photo editing apps. Photoleap was pretty good for most stuff, but I had this super blurry photo that nothing could fix. You know how frustrating it is when apps promise the moon but can't deliver?
So I figured, why not try one more app? Honestly wasn't expecting much, but wow - it actually fixed my blurry photo! Not just made it a little better, but actually made it clear enough to use. That never happens!
The real kicker? I dug up this old family photo from like 50 years ago and thought "let's see what it does with this." My jaw literally dropped. The enhancement was insane - you can actually see details that were totally lost in the original.
Things I love: • It actually fixes blur (not just pretends to) • Worked magic on my vintage photos • Super easy to use • Does exactly what it claims (rare these days!)
Look, I don't usually write reviews, but GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance genuinely surprised me. If you're sitting there with old photos or blurry pics thinking they're hopeless, give this a shot. For once, it's not just marketing hype - it really works.
After some initial problems with the roll out when I gave this a poor review, they’ve fixed things. And GigapixelAIRecoverEnhance works well and results are fantastic. Great stuff. I now highly recommend it!
