WisprFlow is great in normal, calm, quiet environments, but it honestly and fortunately works terribly in any other situation. Using it on my iPhone, it keeps on losing my transcription every time I do something long-form, especially when I'm using my AirPods. Perhaps this is a problem with AirPods, but truly I cannot keep on losing very important transcripts. I'm not always in a perfectly quiet environment. So if I'm just on the go or trying to send someone a message or trying to look up something really quickly, I can't always have 100% perfect silence.
This needs to be more robust to noise and work better with software/hardware such as AirPods, etc. It also needs to work for longer form content which is in particular an issue on the iOS app, not so much on Mac OS. I don't know if the issue is because after use it for a while it becomes slower because the required inference time or something is an issue. I don't know what it is. But this has truly had some issues with the long processing time, lost transcripts unable to work in not perfectly ideal environments, etc.
This really works good, especially for someone like me. I am from the Northeast. I have that New York Spanglish accent, so my words get jumbled around with Apple's voice-to-text a lot. This one is 99% of the time it gets everything I'm saying perfectly.
The only problem I have is when you sign up with your Apple ID, it doesn't come up under your subscriptions, so you can't cancel it there. And then when you try to cancel in WisprFlow , you can't hit the button. If you got charged for the one-year instead of the one-month, then it's an issue, and you get stuck with like a $200 bill. I think that's a little deceptive, so be careful with that.
The ads got me to download WisprFlow login with my Google account, but app requires full access to all apps, and it is unclear what “full access” grants, and in the current age of vulnerabilities, it would be nice if WisprFlow allowed for dynamic composability of how I wish to use its feature set, like selecting which apps. Exactly what kind of access does this permission grant? Couldn’t get past the account setup sequence without granting full access, so rating 4 stars because it seems like an intelligent execution of a voice app, and it has a nice UI. If after some time passes and I see this make a wave again across the AI channels I follow, I’ll return and check it out. Or simply ping me with a developer response if this dynamic changes.
WisprFlow was a really cool fun to use app it helped a lot with my punctuation and it’s great how I can whisper so quietly like I can be barely audible and it could still pick up what I’m saying another really cool feature is the ads quotation mark so when you do like that, he said she said it like quote it it’s really cool The only downside is flow stays on continuously and it’s constantly in use like you will see the little orange highlight on your clock so that’s the only thing I don’t really like about it. But other than that, you can turn it off and it’s super easy to get back on while you’re texting. I just have to turn it off after every text but other than that it’s a really really awesome app and I would recommend it to anybody who asked
I'm using WisprFlow everywhere, including here to write this review. This tool has saved so much time as I spend on the road, driving to and from appointments. I have now truly become hands-free. I work in the real estate industry, and I can honestly say that WisprFlow would help realtors everywhere. Aside from that, I even use it to write my Yelp reviews and notes for the grocery store, using it in ChatGPT, text messages, writing emails - you name it. So much less time spent with my thumbs on my phone just using my voice. Definitely worth every penny.
Wispr Flow has completely transformed the way I work. I’ve been using it alongside ChatGPT and an AI transcriber, and the combination has taken my productivity to a whole new level. Tasks that used to require intense focus now feel effortless. I can finally relax, lower my cognitive load, and move through my day with clarity instead of strain.
For business professionals, this is a true game changer. Wispr Flow helps me capture ideas faster, organize thoughts more naturally, and stay in my workflow without friction. If you’re looking to enhance efficiency and reduce mental overhead, WisprFlow deserves a spot in your toolkit.
I often use voice to text and it often frustrates and annoys me by not getting it correct. I started using WisprFlow as an alternative to whatever comes standard on the iPhone and I found that it works really really well and I’m really really glad that I have it as an option. I just wish the free plan. Included more because I’m a little bit under employed right now and every dollar counts, especially during the holiday holidays. So for the developers, if you have any interest in sponsoring my usage, I’ll happily spread the message of how well your app works far and wide.
This is by far the best AI app I have ever used. There are so many AI products out there, but finally, we have one that feels like a fully developed AI solution rather than just another product with AI features added on.
Many AI tools seem to have half-baked functionalities, but WisprFlow stands out as the most remarkable one I have used. I find myself much more productive, and I no longer procrastinate on sending out emails. WisprFlow genuinely changes my life. Unlike other AI applications that require me to respond multiple times to get the answer or prompt I need, this one simplifies the process and saves me from frustration.
It’s kinda crazy how good this thing is. Not just dictation, but it cleans up my speech, takes out filler like “um” and “uh”, and actually rewrites stuff in a way that makes sense. I was listing things out like “one this, two that, three whatever” and it turned it into a clean numbered list. Legit impressive.
That said, I really wish there was a full keyboard experience to go with it. Right now it feels like a feature looking for a home. If this had a real, default keyboard I could actually use all day, I’d switch in a second. Hope that’s on the roadmap, because the core tech is already kind of insane.
I'm actually using Wispr Flow to write this review right now, but Wispr Flow is so good. It helped me write essays, prank my friends, write whole entire paragraphs. That will take me five minutes, but with Wispr Flow it took me only 30 seconds. Can you believe that? I can't believe they made an app to do this and I love it. Although just because it's AI does not mean it's all going to be bad. Who says AI is going to take over the world? Where would grandparents from 1999 be thinking we're still in that time where people are panicking thinking 2000 would be the year of when all devices shut down and restarted. So sorry if I got about the year thing wrong, bye!!
Wispr Flow 🎙️ is second to none when it comes to everyday speech-to-text. On iOS, the integrated keyboard ⌨️ makes dictation available in any app, and on desktop 💻 (Mac + Windows) it’s just as smooth. The accuracy ✅ is excellent, the speed ⚡ keeps up naturally, and the way it handles punctuation, filler words, and formatting ✨ feels incredibly polished.
Sure, some apps offer more customization 🔧, but Wispr Flow shines because it simply works. It’s fast 🚀, reliable 🔒, and easy to use 🧘. Add whisper mode 🤫, custom vocabulary 📚, and cross-device reliability 🔄, and you’ve got the best balance of power + simplicity.
Absolutely worth ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Worth its weight in gold 🥇. 11/10 🔥.
When I first started using Wispr Flow, I didn’t expect it to have as much impact as it has. Typing has always been one of those bottlenecks in my day, emails, proposals, notes, you name it. With Wispr Flow, that bottleneck is gone. It feels effortless now to get thoughts out quickly and clearly, and that’s translated into more productivity across the board.
What stands out most is how natural it feels to use. There’s no learning curve, no clunky setup, it just works the way you want it to. We’ve seen a measurable boost in efficiency as a team because less time is wasted on the mechanics of typing and more time goes into actual thinking, communicating, and executing.
For me, Wispr Flow isn’t just another tool. It’s become a core part of how I work every single day, on my Apple mobile devices, my MacBook and my Desktop. If you’re serious about improving workflow and making better use of your time, it’s a no-brainer.
I started off trying WisprFlow on iOS as a means to talk to various AIs and reply to emails more quickly. I found that it's absolutely amazing how fast it is and how seamlessly it corrects your spelling and punctuation etc. Unlike the iOS built-in app.
The magic is really once you get it working on your work computer (if your work will allow it), your home computer, and your iPad. Now I can hit the Ctrl and Alt keys on any Windows app. If you pay for the full subscription here, they'll let you run it on your other computers, although you may have some issues with authentication. WisprFlow is now going to be in my permanent tool belt.
The quality of transcription from Wispr Flow is bar none the best I've ever used across all my different AI transcription softwares, and the mobile app is really nice. I wish Apple would not require app switching, but other than that it works wonders and it's very easy to use. You will not go wrong with this application. It makes working on your phone much faster. I can talk way faster than I can ever type on my phone. And Wispr Flow really captures the meaning of what I'm trying to say. I can talk in little segments, edit, and move my cursor around, and it will paste in whatever I transcribed into that section. It's lickety-split fast. It's the fastest transcription I have ever seen. I've used it for well over a year now, and I love it.
The amount of pressure I put on myself for never taking the time or ever seen the value of a typing class in high school or college cause me a great deal of anxiety and stress in my professional life add on the accelerated rate of growth due to the implementation of artificial intelligence in every domain the need to apply to things quickly and efficiently makes my anxiety skyrocket. This application has been invaluable in my ability to feel not only more professional, but efficient I’m not using a chat bot to curate some emotionless email reply that you can tell us not me. I’m using my own voice to dictate a response, that’s me verbatim so my responses sound exactly how I sound in person. This application has definitely solved a lot of people’s problems therefore deserves a five star rating, at least in my opinion.
WisprFlow is a game changer! I speak both Spanish and English, and Wispr Flow catches EVERYTHING perfectly, every single word, no matter which language I’m using. The accuracy is honestly mind blowing compared to my iPhone’s built in voice detection, which constantly misses words and can’t handle switching between languages.
But here’s what really sold me: I can literally whisper and it still transcribes perfectly! Whether I’m in a quiet meeting, at the library, or just don’t want to disturb people around me, it works flawlessly.
The offline feature is brilliant too no internet? No problem! It saves the audio and transcribes it later, so I never lose my thoughts. For someone who’s been frustrated with Apple’s voice dictation for years, WisprFlow feels like magic. Worth every penny! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
WisprFlow is so good. I can't believe how accurate it is. I'd say it's at least 99% accurate, including the punctuation.
I developed a situation where my hands don't work very well, and so speech-to-text has become essential. Apple's built-in dictation is really terrible compared to this. Worth every penny. Works on all three devices. I have nothing but praise for WisprFlow. I have the pro version because I dictate everything. In fact, I write too much now that I have this! Having WisprFlow on my phone, iPad, and Mac brings all three of them into the 21st century. When I think of how much trouble Dragon Naturally Speaking, used to be 20 years ago with a headset and everything else. Now you can sit back in your easy chair, dictate to a Mac, and get it perfect. You have to be an old guy to really be able to appreciate how far we've come.
OK, so the first thing to understand is that this is basically just sending your dictation to a large language model somewhere in the cloud and producing more intelligent dictation than the onboard that Apple uses. That’s great fine love it. It’s a bit overpriced for that. Actually kind of a lot overpriced for that but the free tier is fine.
Unfortunately, there is a significant issue. Because of the way that Apple’s API for keyboards works…. (I assume it’s apple‘s fault… But not sure) the iPhone may sleep WisprFlow you have open or even lock the screen while you were dictating because you were not touching the phone.
Frustrating otherwise it would be worth it just for the custom dictionary alone… I am a writer, and there are a lot of names in my stories that are not spelled normally or are weird and some fashion, and adding them to the dictionary, makes this work nearly perfectly.
But I stopped using it after about 20 tries because on three occasions it lost the entire section. I dictated due to WisprFlow falling asleep because of inactivity while I was dictating. I think there is a way to let it continue to listen, but I think going into the sleep transition would break it anyway maybe I’m wrong.
I look forward to a response from the developers… They have a good thing going here..
I know that there are thousands of AI products that launch every single week, but this one is a must-have because it is a subtle app that basically does audio-to-text. What you are going to find, surprisingly, is it's just a really new way to interact with your iOS device, because you'll find yourself just speaking to your phone through this keyboard.
Not only is it faster (saving you time), but it really understands the context of where you're speaking to through your keyboard, whether that's over a text or a message or Instagram or an email or journaling. It's just so easy and it's so great at getting the spellings right, especially with unique names and so on. You could spell it out and it won't transcribe it word-for-word, but it will get the context and just update it.
So long story short, this is more of a ghostwriter disguised as an AI product.
Hopefully this review will serve as reason enough to trust in Wispr Flow. This entire review was written by me just rambling into Wispr Flow and having it transcribe into an understandable review for you guys. Literally I've seen so many YouTubers use this and I thought, "Let's give it a try," and was hooked immediately. I use it pretty much across the board. The only recommendation I can make for the team is to update the Wispr Flow keyboard UI to be up-to-date with the new iOS 26 keyboard because Apple changed the look of the keyboard. The Wispr Flow keyboard doesn't look native anymore like I would hope to see. Other than this tiny little suggestion, everything about WisprFlow is fantastic.
