I struggle with wearing the exact same outfits over and over, so I was excited to try AltaDaily. I’ve logged over 100 items in my closet (which didn’t take too long actually) and have been working with the algorithm to try to get it to “learn” me. A couple notes of feedback though for the developers:

1. I notice ALTA gives me a lot of repeat outfits. It would be nice if it could see I have a saved outfit already and not continue to suggest the exact same thing. Sometimes on the homepage it’ll say “here’s 10 looks for CYZ” and all ten will be the exact same thing, so it really only created one look.

2. the trip planning feature is very cool but it’s clunky. I think Alta should suggest outfits first, then give you a packing list, rather than do the packing list and then try to make outfits from it.

3. I wish I could tell Alta my schedule and have it fill my calendar for me, like telling it if it’s an office day, work from home day, or a day I’m going to Pilates.

4. I notice that ALTA favors certain articles of clothing and doesn’t recommend others. It’s always trying to make outfits with this one pair of pants and hardly suggests any other pants options.

I’m excited for the potential of AltaDaily, and look forward to seeing it develop over time.

I love to sew, I have a mix of vintage finds, and odd non-designer items and AltaDaily has really helped inspire me to not only catalog what I have but see myself in my clothing in new and exciting ways that feel a bit like I am shopping my closet. The team has also been receptive to feedback in a human way (despite the AI product) and that feels pretty great, too. I find I like many of the recommended products they offer up in some of the outfit combinations, and appreciate that AltaDaily mostly delivers combinations using items I already own. It doesn’t feel entirely oriented toward shopping, so if you’re used to downloading apps that end up having a hard sales pitch around every corner, this is not that. It’s very useful and makes even my oldest clothing feel exciting again. I consider myself to be a creative person, but the way AltaDaily remixes my closet is really refreshing and inspiring me to rethink my own style in fun new ways. I find AltaDaily so fun, I’ve been recommending it to friends.

AltaDaily is incredible! It’s like Cher’s closet from Clueless! From helping with daily outfit planning to coordinating things you never thought about putting together to reminding you of pieces that you forgot about. But my FAVORITE feature is the Trip Planner. It quickly helps you put together exactly what you will need to pack for any given trip. No more guessing, over or under packing, or trying to juggle looks. I also like that any suggestion that Alta Daily makes can be easily restyled, and AltaDaily learns your preferences. So when new apparel is suggested it’s usually something I really like. One of my most used Apps. I use it everyday and love it!

This is my top app of the year!! I seriously can’t believe that it’s free - there’s so many features that I use on a daily basis, from planning my upcoming trip looks to seeing what clothes I wear more than others. My latest obsession is the virtual avatar try on! I love trying on clothes before I buy them, and also getting inspiration from all the fashionable outfits other users put together. It really is helping me become more confident and be more conscious about my wardrobe. I’ve told all my friends and can’t wait to see what they put together too!!

Obsessed is an understatement! I recently discovered AltaDaily through a content creator and had to check it out for myself. Love that it uses modern AI tools to pull looks from your current wardrobe and suggests outfits by occasion. I keep discovering new features like the ability to make notes so I can track what outfits I’ve worn to different meetings or using the suggestions to see if there’s something missing in my wardrobe. I’ve come to use this every day to plan my outfits for the upcoming day/week. Recommending this to all my friends and family

It’s clearly a new app that’s working out some bugs, but I find AltaDaily delightful. It feels like my childhood dream to have a magic closet, and I’m always so impressed how the pictures get cleaned up. I’m not sure how functional I find the inspiration feature but I’ve been asking it to pick out my outfits for work which has been fun. As for the bugs, I’ve submitted some to their support team and they seem to be working on them so they seem pretty responsive and I expect AltaDaily to get even better over time.

Alta has been a total game-changer for me. Living in a small apartment with limited closet space, it’s hard to keep track of everything I own. AltaDaily helped me digitally organize my wardrobe so I can actually see what I have and plan outfits more intentionally. It’s made getting dressed easier, more fun, and way less stressful. My new favorite app. This has already become a game changer for being more intentional in wearing what I have, passing along what I no longer need, and tracking how much I’ve spent on an item compared to how often I’ve worn it. The packing feature is fantastic… I always spend an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out what to bring with me on a trip and end up with way more than I needed. AltaDaily allows me to select my suitcase size and trip length, gives me a suggested list, and then I can customize from there and even create a look book of all the potential outfits I’d need. Don’t hesitate to try this out!

I use Alta every day. I have had it since November 2024 and it really changed the way I think about clothes and my closet. It took a while for me to upload everything to my closet but it really helped me keep track of all my clothes, realize that I have enough clothes and help me evaluate which pieces I wear and which pieces I don’t. It is also helping me organize my closet and reminding me of items I had’t worn in a while. I use tags to track when I bought the item, categorize them by some number of wears milestone (like 7, 30 or 50 wears). Best of all, whenever I don’t know what to wear, I love looking at the suggestions!

Now I don’t usually do app reviews but let me tell you I LOVE AltaDaily. I’ve had AltaDaily on my phone for around 3 months but I just found the energy last week to put all my clothes on it. I love AltaDaily so much I literally took 2 hours last week to update all my clothes into it and I never realized how much clothes I had. I always GK shopping cause I don’t have any outfits but after putting my clothes in and it would give me ideas on what to wear it became so helpful. The only downside is it gives me clothes that I don’t have. This helped me so much and I feel like I became better myself at making outfits. I never had a problem with making outfits it’s always that I thought I couldn’t make an outfit with the clothes I had. It’s an essential that every girl should have on her phone and on the plus side ITS FREE. I’m still trying to figure it out and maybe if I started when I first downloaded it I would have mastered it by now. But GET AltaDaily . It’s worth it!

I’ve been wanting to start an app like this for a long time, but was super daunted by it because I have TONS of clothes. But Alta made it really easy!! I love the feature that automatically removes the background from your images! I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good app without a paywall. I’ve added ~800 items with no issue.

There are a few things I would love to see added in the future:
-Share your full wardrobe with friends (I would love for my friends to be able to make me outfits!)
-Automatically flip images to be right way up (Sometimes taking pictures from above an item results in iPhone automatically flipping the photo. Would be nice if Alta fixed this automatically)
-Size option (Would be nice to put in the size without having to put it in tags. Especially if it could automatically scan the tag and input the size similarly to how it works for brands)
-Better brand input (I input the same brand over and over but AltaDaily doesn’t remember/autofill the rest.)

This has made my mornings so much easier! I don’t have to worry about what I am going to wear anymore! There are so many options for different dress codes and you can generate more if nothing is catching your eye. Also, I love that if I know I want to wear one thing I can pick it and it will generate outfits around that article of clothing. It has also made packing so much easier because you can tell it where you are going and for how long and it will generate outfits, you can also add activities that you will be doing on your trip and it will generate outfits around those activities. It is my real life clueless closet and I am obsessed!

Firstly- the team is on top of it. 6 people? They still get back to you literally within 24 hours. Insanely amazing. They’re so wonderful and are open to feedback and genuinely make the experience all the more better.
Second- It’s SO FUN. You can plan out your trips, pack your bags, have an avatar of yourself try on the clothes, have clothes recommended to you, get your style horoscope, and more. Genuinely so interactive and so fun.
Third- at the beginning it can be a bit adverse to your style especially if you’re like me and have more of an alternative style or something- but start adding more closet items! Add rules to your Alta! Tell it what you do and don’t like! It learns so quick! I’m genuinely in love I love it so much

I absolutely love the Alta app! It’s become one of my favorite tools for organizing my wardrobe and planning outfits. The digital closet feature is incredibly user-friendly and visually satisfying. The AI creates outfits using your own clothes and can even suggest new items if you’re in the mood to shop. I especially love how it promotes awareness of what you already own and encourages more mindful consumption. You can also set custom rules to guide the AI in curating looks that match your style.

Setting up your closet takes some time at first, but once it’s done, the experience is seamless. You can add items using receipts, web searches, or your own photos—and the automatic background removal tool is a total lifesaver.

Love that AltaDaily automatically takes weather, location, and my personal style considerations into account when suggesting outfits. It’s great that I can easily try on suggested outfits from the home page on my avatar, and I find myself looking at my in-app closet more than my actual closet to put together outfits! As someone who usually forgets certain clothes I have, I hope an option to “search” my in-app closet is available soon to easily find specific colors, product types, or brands I’ve uploaded into my closet. The packing list / trip planning feature is phenomenal - esp because it shows me how much of each clothing type I’ve “packed”, and I can create a daily look books and put together collages of planned outfits. Amazing feature for someone who always overpacks or wants to be more intentional about what clothing they travel with.

I’ve tried several wardrobe and styling apps, but this one is on another level. Before AI came along, I mostly used these apps to track what I owned and how often I wore each item. That helped me figure out what to phase out of my closet. Sometimes I’d play around with making outfits, but nothing too advanced.

Then AI entered the picture. My last app (ACloset) tried to use AI, but the results were all over the place—like pairing a dressy black skirt with floral rain boots and a grey athleisure dress on top. Total chaos.

Looking for a better option, I turned to Reddit and saw someone mention Alta. I’m so glad I did. AltaDaily actually gets styling. It suggests outfits that make sense for your plans and the weather, using mostly items I already own. It also recommends pieces that could round out the look, which is super helpful. When it messes up and creates a weird outfit, I give it a thumbs down and AltaDaily asks why and learns from it to avoid similar mistakes. Smart.

Entering clothes is pretty painless—the AI does a solid job recognizing items. AltaDaily has features for travel, like packing lists based on the clothes you select, and it can estimate how many items you can pack based on your suitcase size (carry-on or checked). Super handy!

One thing I’d love to see in the future is seasonal capsules, instead of having everything lumped into one big closet. For now, you can filter by season, which mostly does the trick.

I love AltaDaily very well made I can’t wait to add every item I own and never have to think about my outfits again. I do have one suggestion to add to AltaDaily I would add a way you can add the front and back of the item because I know a few of my clothes have more details on the back of the item so it might change how it looks with certain items. I don’t have any negative things to say about AltaDaily it was well made and VERY useful I can’t wait to never have to think about my outfits again.
