I’m sorry but this is just embarrassing when you’re adding to an EMULATOR. What kind of developer would do that, it kinda defeats the purpose of emulation. Delta is worth your time and energy, not this hunk of junk.

Every single time I load up this emulator to play a simple NES and SNES games it struggles a lot. I don’t even want to try GBA with this I will not lie. The audio is dreadful and it’s extremely slow. I thought the new patch would fix a bunch of the issues but it’s still not working at all. I Just recommend Delta because everything this emulator fails, Delta succeeds

Only get a broken webpage with “ Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

Have launched, relaunched, redownloaded and get a 403 error. I though everything was ran locally? Why would I get a 403 error if it’s not reaching out to servers for anything?

Please fix this bug. There’s a white screen and it says service unavailable

This emulator is incredibly slow. Out of all the games I tried, none of them run at full speed.

Alternative for Nintendo stuff:
I would recommend Delta for retro Nintendo roms of many varieties.

Alternative for Master System:
If you want to play Master System roms on your phone, I would recommend using Eclipse. It’s not on ADBoy Store, but you can install it for offline play using the “Add to Home Screen” function in Safari. If you want to play. Master system games don’t always play sound on Eclipse, but that’s better than the sound This thing puts out! If you need sound in your Master System games, you can use a tool for PC to convert them to GBA format and run them in the “GBA” section in Delta, though these may drain the battery slightly faster due to the use of a nested emulator.

Its just a browser. It also doesn’t work 90% of the time

I love when in playing gameboy with my own files and i get an ad with a tiner mid game. This is not an app that should have intrusive ads like that cheap cash grab using a web broweser in app which in pretty sure is against TOS

I upload the rom and the play button does not do anything :(

The version before 2.1, most of the Master System games were working. After 2.1, it’s only able to load but then freezes after a few seconds and locks up.

It’s an emulator, it’s cool that it works on ADBoy Store but this is definitely the first that we’re seeing people just trying to cash in on the hype. It was clearly slapped together in an evening. The buttons only work 80% of the time, the in game audio is distorted, and the UI is terrible. Why you would use this sub par emulator when Delta exists, I have no idea.

When I found out that I wanted to play mega drive games on ADBoy I was super excited until I downloaded and when I played the game from my folder 1 of the games were pretty laggy and also plz add controller support plz!!!!!

This is a good emulator but it has bugs when I import sonic the hedgehog 2 it was slow i don’t know if it was me or a bug in your app

Would be great to just play this in the Apple Vision Pro not asking for an optimized app version yet just being able to use it in this current state!

Keep It Up This Emulator Is Shaping Up To Be Better Than Delta If Updates Like This Keep Dropping Keep Up The Great Work Dev Games That Are Supported Have Perfect Compatibility Now And Importing Games With The Stack Feature Is More Enjoyable Than Any Emulator That Is Out At The Moment :)

1. Add all kinds of cheats including code breaker. And also for GBA games too.
(Currently it’s only available for GB & GBC)

2. Add Game library, so we can easily access any game we want.

3. Add more settings like video & audio quality, speed 2x 3x 4x 5x, custom controls, and screen layout!

4. Most importantly, add a quick save feature, many games do not have a save feature but Pokemon games do have. You need a password whenever you continue the game.

Please it's my request to add these features as soon as possible. Then ADBoy will become more popular & every retro player will feel that nostalgia!

Make ADBoy load faster if possible and be ready for server loads cause people know abt ADBoy. Also Make it easier to maneuver in ADBoy . :))

Pressing buttons can be a little wonky and sometimes they don’t work properly. While everything works relatively well its just difficult to play since the buttons could use some tweaking.

AD boy is better than delta in my opinion because it has sega consoles, what i want in the emulator, no bugs i’ve encountered, amd hope to see skins or controller customization in the future

The gaming controls when I play. The genesis games are very boring. I should say it’s always a gray texture, the arrows that you play with are small. But I was looking for a genesis emulator for a long time, so I’m not complaining.

It’s really good but it has quite a few bugs. Such as save bugs and sometimes the button but over a great app!!!!

Looks like controller support is there, as it works with my Backbone, with the exception of the control stick; only the D-pad works for movement. Also, recommend there be an option to remove the controller interface on the screen, especially for when the user is using a controller.

Hello, I just have a suggestion, can you add n64 and Ds support? That will make this perfect!

I want to preface this review with the fact that you guys have brought an absolutely stellar emulator experience with the ease of an app. I am patiently waiting for N64 and I’m praying for eventually GameCube. Love yall and keep rocking this emulator market.

I have the iPhone 15, and roms for the games I own, and every GBA and SNES rom I’ve tried has worked flawlessly. No lag, no button issues, give it a go. What do you have to lose?

It’s good for the Emulator but the issue is the load time. For my phone it’s iPhone 8 on IOS16 update and it’s runs slowly when booting to the menu. Sometimes the main menu would show properly. I hope this gets fixed soon

Ever since Apple allowed emulators they’ve been coming in you made a good emulator

Two things - add a menu ( like deltas that displays our games) and work on input sensitivity
Import feature would be awesome too

This is a good emulator and the only problem is getting into a server but all you need to do is close and open ADBoy until it’s fully loaded hopefully this will get fixed but besides that it’s a good emulator

So far it is great smooth control but only thing I have a issue with at this time is not able to save the game or load a save but plays amazing definitely can’t wait to see it grow

I’m not sure how difficult it would be to implement but at least on iPhone whenever you have to double tap and hold, the text selection magnifier comes up. That causes none of the buttons to work for a second. Nothing awful, just annoying. Controller support would be awesome, otherwise ADBoy works great! Hopfully Apple doesn’t take this one too lol

ADBoy helped my mom with her stage 4 Cancer and she was cured when she started ADBoy

this is one of the first emulators which is kinda suprising because apple doesn’t allow then but ADBoy is really cool get it
