myEYC was never great, but if has recently become so glitchy it doesn’t serve its intended function. I just tried to show my card at a museum with free admission for cardholders and almost got turned away because myEYC was displaying only part of the information on my card and hiding the expiration date, and neither the museum staff nor I could find any way to get it to display. They were nice enough to let me in anyway, but I rely on myEYC pretty regularly for discounted train tickets, etc. and other staff won’t necessarily be that accommodating. While the card itself has saved me a fair bit of money over the past two years, the electronic system is a nightmare and I won’t renew unless I can get a physical card (which as an American passport holder, I currently cannot.)
