Ive been playing for quite a while cash out at 5$ or 10$ gift cards, well ive been saving up the points to get to the 50$ mark well at midnight the orange ads will refresh and would be up and running, I’m like less then 200 points from getting the 50,000 and at midnight and even 4 hours later no ads are running, and this is days after DowntimeDollars was maintenanced to me it’s like it doesn’t want u to get there . Definitely something is wrong that .DowntimeDollars isn’t worth playing like it use to , it went from 25 cents to 1 for cashing in a receipt, the bonus points are drastically reduced for wen u cash out at higher amount, the ads barely run at all . Any other app would be better then this one ,cause this one might take a entire year to earn one gift card, if I could rate with no stars I would , and u only get a response if u leave a good review, so much has changed the bonus points on cashing out on higher gift cards has went down in points significantly, just last night I didn’t receive any new ads or bonus points, I DO NOT RECOMMEND DowntimeDollars , as it is I’m hearing the grief from the people I referred to DowntimeDollars as a great app , well as of last month I’m wrong .

I used to LOVE DowntimeDollars.... until last night when everything stopped working. I’ve clicked on Dabbl research.. all 3 boxes and all say I have 3 more ads to watch. I watch the ads (over and over and over), and they still say I need to watch 3 more ads. I took 2 surveys last night, one said I’d get 20pts, yet my point total only went up 14pts, the other said my reward was 353. I completed the entire survey and got NOTHING. I’ve refreshed DowntimeDollars at least 30 times, cleared my browser history and my cookies.... no improvement. This is ridiculous!

Ok, so DowntimeDollars finally began working and I was able to earn enough to cash out. Then, about 6 days ago, it started giving me only 50% of the value of the surveys I took. This continued through the next day. The last 3 days, it was working fine, then today again, it’s only giving me 50% of the value of the surveys I take. Seems to me your tech people need a refresher course. This has never happened with any of the other survey sites I use. If there would be any consistency with giving the user what’s due them, I would definitely increase my star rating, but now, in good conscience, I cannot!!!

I used Dabbl faithfully for 5 years, and it worked wonderfully! One year ago, the "from the web" ads started showing low inventory. I e-mailed customer service a total of 17 times over the past year looking for them to resolve this issue. I always received a vague response telling me to update my phone or DowntimeDollars , which were both always updated. There never was a fix.

Here was the kicker for me: I used DowntimeDollars to earn and save Disney gift cards for my honeymoon. It took me a couple of years, but I earned around $150 in Disney gift cards. On my honeymoon, I tried to spend those gift cards, and each card was denied and labeled with "insufficient funds". I was devastated! Everything I had spent so long working toward didn't even exist. I contacted Dabbl support and was told that it wasn't their issue, but Disney's, and they made no move to rectify the situation. That was the day that I deleted DowntimeDollars and haven't looked back. Don't waste your time! Terrible customer service and terrible app. It's a shame, because DowntimeDollars used to be amazing.

I’ve been using DowntimeDollars for over 2yrs and I loved it. It was something to do in spare time that allowed me to earn gift cards and find out about new products, sites, and apps/games. But recently, over the past month, surveys don’t work or allow me to take them. Surveys are also are very little value for your time and there used to be 2x or more on survey points, but haven’t seen that in a long while. Ads rarely come up anymore (I usually only get 5 or 6 a day). You must slow app users down at a certain point or something. It can’t be due to low inventory because I have friends and family who have Dabbl and they’re still get ads a lot. Honestly thinking about giving up on Dabbl because I’m having a really hard time getting any points. It’s becoming not worth it.

There are so many times where I will complete a survey but it won’t give me the full points that they survey said it would give. I just completed one that said I was awarded 360 points but I only got 280 points. That’s not fair and I’ve been cheated out of so many points this way. (Probably have lost at least 2000 points this way now.)

Please fix and then I will give 5 stars.

Update: I realize that if the survey ends early they give you a smaller reward, but I am talking about when I completely finish the survey and still don’t get as many points as they said I would. Also, this has happened multiple times with more than one survey so I am not sure it is an issue with the survey company.

Edit edit: The 5 pointers are back and now some are even less at 3. What a waste of time. A third of a cent???????

Edit: I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4. It looks like the issues I had were hiccups and they have come back strong. In the past week there have been more ads than ever, most 10 points again. There have also been a lot more surveys available! Very happy to see DowntimeDollars is not only as good as before, but better!!

I have had DowntimeDollars for a few months and it was a good place to take surveys and watch ads for points. At the end of December it started going downhill fast. There were hardly ever any ads and surveys became more and more scarce. I was excited a few days ago more ads were coming up with different names on them. Unfortunately one of the groups only paid 5pts per ad instead of the standard 10. When I realized that I made preference for the 10 point ads. Well last night all of the ads switched to 5 points. I have also rarely been able to find surveys. This was my go-to app for surveys and ads. I recently recommended to a friend and I regret she’ll never have the experience I started with. Hope it goes back and they value our time as it once was.

I began using Dabbl around 2-3 years ago and at the beginning everything was functioning properly and the staff was very helpful. However, starting last year, DowntimeDollars began to not honor the promotions of 2x/3x the points earned on surveys, started locking me out of surveys, and was generally withholding points from me. I reported these incidents plenty of times to their support team and after around a month or so they provide you with a mediocre response. The support team also tends to doubt their consumers very often and ask for picture, video, and linked evidence. If you are lucky enough to receive a reply from a good staff member, then you might be given your missing points, but it is becoming increasingly rare for this to occur. At this point I am thinking about deleting my Dabbl account and DowntimeDollars altogether. The staff and developers should really care more about their consumers, given that you are the one providing them with millions in revenue by watching their ads, taking their surveys, etc. Unfortunately , it is clear that Dabbl has become money hungry and that has gotten in the way of them improving their app and support team.

**EDIT** I came back in to change my rating because I keep having countless experiences in which I complete a survey in its entirety and then have no way to exit the survey without ditching my points. It’s a huge waste of time to do these surveys and not get the points you earned. **

Great way to earn a little something without much time investment. My only complaint is that occasionally I’ll get 10 minutes into a high point survey and then get a “you aren’t a candidate” message and get 5-10 points when I should have gotten much more for the time investment for a survey I thought was hundreds of points. Also sometimes I click into one survey and it takes me through 3-4 separate surveys, only awarding points for one. I either have to manually close out because the time investment is getting too high for 100 points and then I end up getting 5-10 points, or I press on and spend 40 minutes on something that was the point value of a 7-8 minute survey.

It’s a nice concept but still needs some tweaking.

Used to love DowntimeDollars because it was ridiculously simple but I HATE the new update. One of the best things about DowntimeDollars was that we earned in cents, not points. That was different than any other platform and feels much more honest. I know exactly what I have and what I’m earning. I also hate that everything is separated now. Not necessary.

Another recent change I don’t appreciate is that you can’t watch videos and earn 10 points. Instead, you watch three videos and answer a question and you might get a decent number of points (worth it) or you might get ten or less points - the same thing you used to get for only one video. Very irritating.

I enjoy DowntimeDollars. They keep it interesting by keeping up with your streak and earning extra points. I also like how you get bonus points by redeeming your points at higher amounts and it's great you have the opportunity to take surveys and participate in a couple other ways to gain more points. The reason I only gave 3 stars is when I first signed up and until recently, each receipt scan was worth 25 points and now it's only 1 point! That's a huge drop and I've wondered if it's worth it to me to keep scanning my receipts. The other reason is it's hard to understand what you receive points for. When looking at the points that are broken down by each day, sometimes you got 2 points and the next day you could have 25 but no idea what the difference is to even begin to keep up with your points. It's kinda frustrating since that's the reason you scan receipts and participate in DowntimeDollars . Hopefully someone could look into that or if I'm missing something, please let me know! Otherwise it's a good app to have. One more super important bit of info is customer support has been awesome with answering any questions or addressing concerns. They've responded in a reasonable amount of time with a positive, friendly attitude anytime I've contacted them.

It -CAN- be a great app when it works and when there’s a 2x or 3x on points! Often it crashes or surveys don’t pay. A lot of time is wasted on long surveys just for no qualifications points or just 5 points. I have reported many surveys from all survey providers and no word back on them. Then I was banned from Peanut labs for no reason reached out to support and no response back at all. That was weeks ago! But still I can access other surveys from other survey providers and get points. Thank you that’s $100 towards Christmas for our kids during this pandemic so it really does help! My spouse also does in his free time and has made about $30 not bad for someone who barely gets on it.
Great app, Just needs some help to be better!

I think I started using DowntimeDollars in the early stages and I definitely this it’s improved a lot. There are a lot more opportunities to interact and higher-value opportunities as well. If you’re diligent, you can really get at least a “dollar” a day with ads and such. I have earned quite a bit of money now and I’m not even on every day.

My only complaints right now are sometimes the options for the surveys are strange. I’ve also finished entire surveys and then they say I’ve been screened out and only get 10 points. Surveys can be quite time consuming! And I also wish in the future there are more gift card options. I’ve really only been redeeming for Target cards right now.

DowntimeDollars is really easy to use and actually works. It takes a while to get a bunch of points if you don’t have the time to take lengthy surveys but you don’t have to download games just to delete them later. They have a good variety of gift cards to choose from but it would be nice to be able to send that same amount of money to PayPal instead of choosing a gift card even if it may cost a few extra points. It would also be nice if the videos were 20 points each instead of the 10 for those of us that don’t always have time to sit down and complete the surveys. Also please add more “from Dabbl” experiences they are really cool but you only get 3-4 every day.

Can’t really complain. Sometimes the surveys will blip out on me or I’ll go all the way through one and the link is either dead or it’s just no good. And unfortunately all the time I just spent on that one survey is just lost time. But other than a few minor hiccups here and there DowntimeDollars actually works really well and building up your point value is relatively easy. I got to $20 bucks faster than I have with any other app built to serve a purpose like this one. Yes, it does take time to build up your points and you have to be somewhat motivated to do so. But hats with anything in my opinion. You get out what you put in.

I love DowntimeDollars! It is very easy to rack up points to use towards awards. I get the opportunity to earn almost everyday. It has also allowed me to learn about new products or products I would have never known about had I not used DowntimeDollars .
***The only thing I don’t like are the very preschool -like puzzles you guys give for us dabblrs to play with and once we put it together we get a “Great Job “or “Smart” motivational words when really it makes me feel as if I’m not capable of putting an obviously easy puzzle together. Please give me something more fun and challenging! Thanks!!!***

They pay out instantly to your email. I don’t like giftcards was prefer cash, it would be awesome to have a PayPal option but it’s not hard to figure out how to convert your GC’s into PayPal, just trade someone and offer a % discount and it’s easy as that. Plan on using this for the long run. Perfect for when you’re watching a movie with your girlfriend, just look down every 30 seconds to play an ad. I got $10 in less than a week and some days I didn’t even use DowntimeDollars . 9/10 only because no direct cash option. 10/10 when they add PayPal! (If they ever do)

I have tried other apps, and they all have one way to earn money. Dabbl has all the ways! You can scan Receipts (Electronic as well), do surveys, complete tasks, watch ads, do easy quests, complete experiences, receive 10-15% off products from Dabbl Partners and the list goes on and on! Within my first 2 weeks, I had earned 5000 points (which = $5)! You can cash out at $5, $10, $15, or $20 (maybe more!). 1000 points = $1. You can also earn points by referring your friends! You can send them a link, and when they get to 1000 points you get $2 worth of points! Excellent app, and would recommend to anyone and everyone. Dabbl is the all in one experience that lets you cash out many times and gives you tons of $$$ of Gift Cards. You also get bonus points if you cash out higher! + 500 if you wait til $10, 800 extra for $15 and 1200 extra for $20. All these little perks make it the best money making app out there!

I did have one problem, where the survey I took had a locked end, and I couldn’t finish without forfeiting my reward. I contacted Dabbl support and they replied (not with a ticket receive notice, but an actual response) within 1 day! After an email or two, they found the survey company was having problems, and they rewarded me with 250 points as a sorry bonus! You can really tell they care about their experiences, and that they will help you if you get stuck.

Overall, AWESOME APP! 😁😁😁 Would definitely recommend you get it!

I would of given DowntimeDollars a 5 star since I have earned about $15 but the thing is now every time I click on DowntimeDollars it doesn’t even load all it says is “we are having a problem your request. Please try again” I can’t even use DowntimeDollars anymore it started doing it today and a couple of hours has passed and it still keep saying that. I don’t know what to do, if you guys could fix this it would be helpful. Thank you

I had DowntimeDollars prepandemic and it took so long to get $20. During the pandemic I remembered I had DowntimeDollars and gave it a try. Sooo glad! They updated it and no joke got $150 last month in Starbucks. Bast part is if you aren’t in the mood to do surveys they have ads for a small amount too. I’m a nanny so it’s so easy just to keep pressing the ads without being distracted. On average I can get about $20 a week without being super invested which is a perfect little bonus for me. They have bonus multipliers days for surveys sometimes which made a $5 survey into a $15 and I almost freaked out! They have a lot of options for gift cards. No PayPal or visa yet

Dabbl is amazing! By far my favorite app at the moment. There are other money-making apps but this one has been consistent and easy. I’ve been using it for a little over 2 months and have made $100! I’ve cashed out for 3 gift cards already and I’ve received them in my email within seconds. No issues so far. It’s really a great way to make some extra money on the side. I hope Dabbl sticks around for a long time. Lots of other apps have shutdown recently. Wish I would have found DowntimeDollars sooner!
I’m hoping that the gift card amounts will increase eventually. I think the max is $20 but either way, I’m extremely happy with DowntimeDollars. Keep up the good work!

This used to be my favorite survey app, but lately it’s been a little disappointing. A few weeks ago, I noticed some issues with their online ads. They would play for a few seconds and then automatically pause, and pressing play would only make them play for a second or two at a time. Then, about a week ago, I completely quit receiving ads altogether.

The surveys also seem to be experiencing some issues lately. There have been more incidents where I start a survey and I can’t complete it. And on a couple of occasions where I did complete it, I received no points whatsoever.

I’m leaving a 3 star rating because I’ve had very positive interactions with their help team in the past and their customer service is excellent. Also, I have hope that they will resolve these issues soon. If they do, I will gladly change my rating to 5 stars.

I like DowntimeDollars so much because there is always available surveys and ad that helps you reach your goal at the earliest time possible. There is almost no waiting time when you redeem your gift cards. I receive it right away in my email in less than a minute. I just wish they have option to redeem points to send money to your paypal account in the future. That would really be cool! If that happens, i will give them highest rating.

I’ve only been using dabbl for a week and I’ve already earned $10 in gift cards. I earned my points from surveys and ads only not from referrals(referral bonuses are 1,000 points each). If you have 30+ min of free time a day I think this is worth doing. The $$ earned is going towards diapers 😬.
The one complaint is there’s not always surveys available for me (they seek out specific candidates for each survey) so I have to wait occasionally to get one. Other than that it’s a great/quick way to get gift cards.

Just a bit of an issue with the theorem surveys that were recently added. I was supposed to get 60 points even though I didn’t finish, since it says that’s how that one works, and when I left that survey page I only got 10– the usual amount for trying a survey and not finishing. It worked fine when I actually completed one, but might want to fix or adjust that with a message or something if it’s always going to be 10 regardless what theorem says. Otherwise I love DowntimeDollars! I have cashed out 3 times and telling others about it since it’s so easy.

Compared to other apps and websites that offer points to redeem for taking surveys and watching ads, Dabbl is by far the best app! Other apps take soooo long to earn points. So you might not be able to redeem your points for over a month of continuous use. With Dabbl, I've earned a $5 Target gift card in less than 4 days! DowntimeDollars is super simple to use, doesn't require info like your credit card number, and you don't have to wait forever to get your points. Also, for each friend you refer to join, you get bonus points! What's not to love? I highly recommend Dabbl to anyone. :)

I am in love with DowntimeDollars. Most of the video ads are only 15 seconds, and there are many that are only 5 seconds long. You receive points for each video ad you watch and you also have the option to participate in surveys which add additional points. They add up quickly and I have to say that out of the many “accumulate points and earn gift cards apps” this one is one of the best. I’m on it daily and you will become addicted too! Thank you to the developers for creating such a great app! 😊

I would like to make it clear that Dabbl is NOT a constant income source. If you expect money every day, week, or even month, this is not for you. I get $5 every 3-6 months.
With that said, I see that as $5 I only had to tap a screen for. To me, DowntimeDollars is completely worth the time because I watch ads all the time so that others can make money, and this is the one place where I watch ads to make myself money!
The ads are also usually interesting unless they’re the “internet” ones! So I also end up learning pretty cool things about my favorite brands or new things about random brands.
Also, the gift card options cover EVERYTHING. B&N, Walmart, Target, even Bass Pro if you’re into that.
I just wanted to be honest because I see a lot of people hating on DowntimeDollars because “It takes forever” or “It’s a waste.” If you don’t download with the intention of getting rich but rather finally seeing some returns on the boatloads of ads in this world, then DowntimeDollars is far more enjoyable!

I was very worried about DowntimeDollars to start off with, since so many apps like this are a scam and waste of time. But Dabbl works-after just a little over a month I had 5,000 points, which is the bare minimum to get a reward ($5 egiftcard) i thought there would be a trick when getting the card but nope! They have many reviews, and even some ads to watch. Highly recommend for people who have long bus and car rides and need something to do!

I haven’t been with DowntimeDollars for too long, maybe a month or so, and with casual use I’ve made enough to redeem a $10 gift card. DowntimeDollars is way different from “other” opinion pay apps, it definitely sets the bar much higher. The ads you participate in keep you engaged, have you do different tasks, are on interesting subjects etc. The time/payoff is far better with DowntimeDollars than with a lot of others I’ve seen. Give it a try!!!
