This game is just a lazy reskin of the football gm game by the same creator. Everything is designed for a football sim game, not a basketball one. None of the things that make basketball unique are included here. Multiple team trades? Not included. Big market team vs small market? Not included. Players requesting trades? Not included. G league? Not included. Basketball is unique because the star players have so much influence on their team, but you can treat a start like a rookie. And free agency is bad, never anyone above an 80 is ever available because all CPU teams sign their stars and the star players never want to leave. If LeBron was in the game, he'd spend 20 years in Cleveland. Probably less because players retire at 36

The 5th year contract extension for rookies drafted is inaccurate, as it should not automatically cost $44 million dollars like it is a franchise tag in football, it should be similar to the contract they are already on.

I’ve played about 5 seasons so far. It’s not bad, well designed, but not a lot to do during the season. Still, the rise and fall and rise again of a franchise is there and it’s well done.

One positive for sure is that if you appreciate the game of basketball, all these little 1’s and 0’s procedurally generated basketball players will do everything in their power to be better basketball players. They aren’t spouting off about practice or politics or buying yachts or getting into trouble (okay, sometimes they fight or decide not to play for you when you tank), but mostly they just love the game they’d die for. It’s great!

This franchise has created some of the best games I have ever played. My suggestion: make a soccer version! It would be a huge undertaking, but it could grow the franchise so much! Thank you for this game

Coming from PGFM3 this a great expansion into a new sport. High scoring games seem to be a little too common though. Great other than that.

This is a great game. I do have a few suggestions that I think might make it even better:
1 - Add a depth chart function so the multi-positional aspect is a bit more realistic
2 - Be able to adjust how many minutes each player plays. This is somewhat related to the depth chart one
3 - Be able to compare players stats, contracts, etc.

His Sim sports games are top of the market and this is no exception. From playing on the toilet to make a dynasty in a couple of hours, this is my most played game.

Just like the NFL version, this game is great. Perfect for when you have time to kill, and great for when you want a challenge.!

Literally the mobile version of 2K dynasty mode. It’s unbelievably great. You can literally create & edit anything you want. It’s so much fun. I can spend hours playing this game

Big fan of these PGM games, hope to see all sports get their own version as I have lots of fun and spend most of my free time playing this game. Absolutely must play for a sports fan!

Played the beta and always saw the potential. The finished product is well worth the price as the dev is very active and always updating and taking note of what the users have to say about the game

Loved the football game so went and tried the beta, even the first version of the beta was great. And only after a few months of hard work, Jon was able to make a casual basketball game that is super fun and easy to get the hang of. Due to the smaller rosters and draft it’s way easier to sim 5-10 seasons in the same time it would take for 1-3 in the football sim game. Easy game to get sucked into! The draft lottery is an amazing feature and if you go on the Reddit and download a custom nba roster it’s like 2k franchise mode on the go.

I like this game a lot and think that it’s probably the best basketball GM game. One thing I wish is that the Hall of Fame was editable, so I could remove some players as it gets flooded quickly and it is less of an achievement to make HOF when there are so many HOF’s. awesome game 🤙🏼

Another great creation from Jon, I always enjoyed the football series but I knew there wasn’t a basketball sim one. I usually would use a game like amazing basketball but since PGM Basketball launched I immediately deleted that one because l knew it was going to be better.

Such a good game I’ve spent tons of hours already. My only complaint and I don’t know if this is on purpose or not is if you play the player in their secondary position it always boosts the team overall significantly. I don’t think it’s supposed to be like that???

I understand that it is still in development which is why I’m pointing out these inconsistency’s. First of all, A player I had just drafted and interviews had a 4.0 GPA yet a low in IQ..? Along with this, most of the combine % are exactly a multiple of ten which isn’t realistic.

I played Jon’s football GM game and always found it to be the best on PocketGM Store. Several of my friends even ended up getting hooked. I was so excited to learn that he was building a basketball game that was similar. Absolutely amazing game here too, and I know it will continue to improve with updates. Already hooked on it!

Jon has done it again! Great game and easy to lose hours on hours playing across multiple saves. Give it a chance if you’re new to his games you will not be disappointed. Really can’t wait to see what’s added in the future and how you’ll build upon this. Hockey next?

This and the football version are probably the games i spend the most time on my phone, they’re just an easy way to pass the time and highly recommend. I would also like to ask the creators if they could maybe do a hockey version of this too
