Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game where you direct animated streams of flowing liquid so that the droplets get to their destination.
The gameplay mechanics are good, however please add iCloud support for saving progress between devices.
- Gameplay graphics and UX are becoming very outdated. They need to be refreshed to take advantage of modern hardware/iOS capabilities.
- GameCenter function is buggy. Enigmo freezes after returning from GameCenter achievements or Leaderboards.
Love this game but still glitchy with new IOS and or iPhone X

The game itself is amazing. I have had this game since owning the original gen 1 iPhone and through the years I always dust it off to play through the levels again. However, while functional on the iPhone X with the most recent software Enigmo has developed a few quirks that I don’t remember it having on past devices. The smaller of the two is the touch mechanics are tad bit too sensitive. Rotation of items being one them, objects always seem to be playing catch up with your finger and when you think you’ve gotten it right you’ve actually overshot your target. Also, in rotation of an item its very easy to unselect the item while trying to rotate it. Scrolling through game space can be a little dangerous to cause you can easily offset other items on the playing field if you do not watch were you place your fingers. This may just something that adds to the challenge which is why it isn’t a huge issue for me. The big thing that kills the rating that I am giving Enigmo is the mildly frequent crashing that occurs mainly through level transitions, has happened several times during key save moments and corrupted my saved game. I then have to delete the data because going back into it always crashes Enigmo there after. If anything, I can live with the slight touch issues just resolve the crashing and I will have no complaints about this game.
Fun, not enough

Fun game, not enough content for the $2 you pay for it.
O.K. but not really what I'd of expected

When I looked at this game and read its description it seemed similar to The Incredible Machine; to be more precise, it looked a lot like the get the object to the goal levels of TIM. That's half true. It turns out the game is more a culmination of Lemmings and Machine. Let me try to put it in perspective; imagine you're playing TIM and you have to shoot a laser into a switch to keep a door open for Mel (a little person in Machine) to get home. Normally you would just place the laser by a plug, it would shoot into the switch and it would keep the door open, and that's that. Now imagine the same thing, except the switch is moving up and down and you have to reflect the laser off of three mirrors. You're forced to now move the laser around to keep up with it while also keeping track of the mirrors. It's way too complicated, and totally unnecessary, and unfortunately many of the puzzles in this game are just as over complicated as this. I want to make something that can get the job done itself, why should I have to mess with anything myself to get the job done? To its credit, this works, but it just seems weird that I can't just place something and leave it alone.
Other than that my biggest gripe is that it's hard to see the peices with your finger completely covering some of them, as well as the rotation handles.
Glad to see this game still being updated... but...

Glad to see that this is now up to date for the iPhone X. However, the music is ATROCIOUS. Luckily it can be turned off but lord have mercy that is terrible. This game would do much better with some ambient noise or some sort of soothing background music but this peppy basic Apple loop junk and the weird Asian scrub music isn’t fitting and is a disgrace.
Confusing

Here are a few things I did not like about this app...
1. The tools to get the water inot the buckets are not explained anywhere. Many of the items look very similar and act very similarly. There is a purple drum and a red drum that look to me to be the same and act the same .
2. The manual is not included in the game but a link from the this app website which isn't exactly iPhone optimized. Then the manaul is certainly not iPhone optimized, which makes it ahrd to learn how to play the game on the phone. Instead I will have to download the PDF on my mac and read it there.
3. No tutorial. Sure the game is self explanatory but it would've been nice to get a basic introduction of the more basic tools and then eased into the more confusing or complicated ones. 4, This is a small one but still relevant the "bonus" score is the actually score you will get for the level you get 0 points for merely completing the level if you take too long which to me seems like you are being punished even eventually completing the level
In the end it takes too much trial and error to complete the levels with no real benefit or encouragement to continue.
❤️ this game but 10?

I ❤️ this game, and I pretty sure that this game was from my earlier childhood. But can you possibly (to the devs) make it compatible with iOS 10?
Very fun puzzle game

Pangea is a developer well worth supporting and this is a very fun game. Fun graphics and easy to learn. Good for a minute or 10 (or 30). My first complaint is that the game is confused about whether it's a puzzle game or a twitch game: the points run down very quickly and you are scored for how quickly you can arrange the tools, but it's essentially impossible on each level to quickly adjust the tools in time, the first time! My second complaint is that the tools are hard to control; I am constantly turning when I mean to move, or moving when I intend to turn. To address the first complaint, I suggest having points for solving using the fewest tools, and all tools are available (and multiple of each tool can be used). Perhaps some tools have different points on different levels. But the timer has got to go; there is nothing more frustrating than solving a puzzle and being rewarded with 0 points; ALMOST made me hang up on the game. To address the second complaint, I suggest having the four turn-grabber controls further away from the middle of the tool. But despite these nits it's a great game that I will play through. And thanks for supporting the Mac with your great games!
Great but no music!

Just as I remember it. Solid with no noticeable bugs, but the music is gone. I remember loving the music from the original and it isn't here😢
this app is definitely a fun and challenging game that has some great graphics and controls. I've yet to run into any bugs or problems. There are a few things that i wish were included, like a tutorial to help teach you the basics. The levels get pretty challenging right away. The one thing that really bothers me about this app, is that while there are 50 levels. Once you beat a level and move on, you can't go through all the ones you've beaten whenever you want. So if you like level 32, have fun replaying all 31 levels before it just to replay the one you like. I'd like to see the option of going to any level of your choice once you've passed it, and before you complete all 50. I'm only on level 11, and would like to show my friends a few of the levels i've come across, but can't. I'd like to see that in the next update.
But for the most part, this app is a fun time consuming game that will definitely challenge you.
Love this app.

I’ve had Enigmo for a very long time. I bring it out every year or so and start over. I wish, though, that Pangea would update it for iOS 13 and dark mode. The tools are very hard to read in dark mode.
Pangea has a hit on their hands with Enigmo, I am sure of it!

An amazing game! By far my favorite game in the entire application store! •Many Positives: This game has amazing physics, great graphics, 3D sound, and it is actually an awesome game. The puzzles are interesting and while challenging, you will not rack you brain for days trying to solve them. Controls are great and make sense to me. •Minor Problems: The interface takes a little getting used to but it is great once you do (some instructions/tips would be nice additions). Maybe some background music would be nice, but I just turn on my own songs anyway. Minor bug note: as of version 1.0 on my iPod Touch 32GB (firmware 2.0/5A347) there is a bug that kills the game's sound effects if you change songs by double pressing the home button twice then pressing next track all while at the games main menu, just quit and restart the game and it goes away. •Conclusion: Very Impressive and VERY FUN to play!!! Truly different and cool... hopefully an example that others will follow. Some may not think it is worth $10. I disagree, this is more than just bad some port, is well designed for the iPhone/iPod Touch, very original/unique, and I can see myself playing it still next year. I bet most other games on this site will not be played for days, let alone years of casual use. Can we have some level packs please or maybe even a level editor... ;-)
This game is amazing. Excellent graphics, amazing interaction of the liquids, environments and the tools you are supplied with to come up with a solution. It is by far the best app I have found so far. Definitely not a "time killer" game. This is challenging, requiring complex planning and thought. It is learn-as-you-go: you have to figure out on your own what the tools do, how they interact, what the goal is in each scenario and how to go about making it happen, without instructions or hints. The graphics and movement of liquids is amazing and even beautiful. I do agree that it would be nice if there were an option or way to view your completed "creation" when you are finished, before moving on to the next level. I try to zoom all the way out as soon as I make my last adjustments and am usually able to get at least a glimpse of it before the next game screen comes up. It is partly translucent so you can see a little of your solution behind it. But an option to see it before you move on might be a nice option to add on.
A truly fantastic puzzle game

I've played a number of puzzle games on Enigmo Store, and so far this is the best one. Most other puzzle games for the iPod/iPod Touch are of the basic "falling blocks" type, with some variation on the rules for variety. These are fun, and have their place. This game, however, is a masterpiece. Like "The Incredible Machine" of old school PC gaming fame, this game involves using a set number of components to create a Rube Goldberg type machine to get an object from point A to point B; in this case bouncing a stream or several streams of water droplets though several obstacles to their destination. Though the game makes good use of 3D graphics (it looks quite spiffy!) it has the sense to stick to a 2D gameplay mechanic, which makes the game feel both old-school and strikingly new. It makes excellent use of the touch screen as well, using pinch gestures for zooming, and having an excellent interface for placing and rotating puzzle elements. This is definitely one of the best things offered on Enigmo Store. I can't believe this is a cell phone game!

People are flooded with apps nowadays. I'm lucky enough to have been able to experience this in 2008 when apps were a new thing. This game was a pioneer. Should be in Enigmo hall of fame.

Features
In addition to the 50 levels that come with the game, you can also download many more levels for free! As of version 1.1, you can download levels created by other users or by yourself with the Mac or PC version of Enigmo which has a built-in level editor.
Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game where you direct animated streams of flowing liquid so that the droplets get to their destination.
You move and rotate various types of bumpers, sliders, accelerators, and sponges in order to divert the flow of the falling droplets.
The physics in Enigmo are truly amazing to watch! This is one of the most unique puzzle games ever created.
Water, Oil, and Lava fall from Droppers and bounce around the walls of the puzzle.
The faster you complete each of the 50 levels, the more bonus points you receive.
You may submit your levels to us and we'll include them in the public list if we like them enough.
